I've watched a lot of shop tour videos. This one is the worst. Giving it a thumbs up anyway because I learned some tricks to show my wave head friends.
I’ve been waiting to see the shop since you guys took over the whole warehouse! Stoked everything is going so well! I just finished building out my new 1400 sqft shop. I’ll be posting a shop tour soon. Keep up the awesome work guys. And don’t listen to the haters, you guys are super fun to watch!
I am blown away. I love these guys for all their amazing woodwork skills and videos. I have my Foureyes t-shirt, I’m trying to progress as a woodworker inspired by these guys every day - but now all I want is for a full video on microwave etiquette and efficient workflow. “Waveheads” made me chuckle so much!
"Yeah, back when I lived in Germany and I worked for... ULMIA!" "What...?" "Yeah, I didn't build that." LOL Those German solid beech workbenches are the best. Dang, I left 5 of those in Germany when I moved to the US.
WAS THAT AN OLD FRIGIDAIRE FRT16NRG IN YOUR KITCHEN. And you chumps thought the microwave is the heart of your shop. Honestly, one of the funniest and best shop tours I’ve ever seen. Bravo, gentlemen.
Cool guys, microwave room was the best part, and you know what ever since I saw the assembly table with wheels you guys have, am building me one, you have great space, congrats…greetings from Santa Cruz Bolivia
Old school wave heads know...the choicest microwave control system is two dials; a linear dial for power level 1-10, and an exponential dial for cook time. Given your waves common but inferior control system, your advice is perfect.
Biggest pet peeve here (esp being in an office environment) is the lazy bum that doesn't clear out their remaining time if they stop it early & then you have to do it yourself before using it.
Chris, regarding your masterpiece-it's clearly a scorpion. Red tail and all. Okay-content idea. Wouldn't it be cool to have a nube woodworker join you guys as a guest and build something cool. Have many project ideas... (my real career is marketing). Let me know if you're interested.
I too saw instantly a scorpion, and wanted to see if I was the only one, which I clearly wasn't, and it makes me feel a bit less weird for a moment, as I often see things nobody else see ... :D Stay creative (y)
Old microwave ovens almost never die. Just junked an old GE because the bottom was worn and a little rusty. Otherwise probably had another 25 years in it... Also have 2 microwaves "in waiting" ... don't ask. The shortcut time entry is an old, old trick - really confuses those who don't know it ...
Super Mario Squids are called Bloopers... in case someone wanted to know... Imagine the potential number of Mario rulers you could store in a cabinet under the saw.
I am going to apply your microwave keypad math to my next woodworking project. Not sure if a 77L x 22W x 33H entry table is the optimum ratio. Please advise. Or should wait for you to release the full microwave video?
How and what color did you paint the blue table legs. I want to paint all my tools blue and would love some color scheme advice. Please think about it bf you respond. Thanks dues
Chris Salomone: a regular Jackson Pollock. I only know that because of a scene from Entourage years ago, and had to look up who Seth Green was referring to. I’m also probably wrong.
Chris can you comment on your Kreg track saw table? Do you use it? Do you also have the saw or some other, and do you like the saw? I noted you have other tracks (Festool I think) so what system do you find yourself using the most and why? Thanks !
I have the kreg and festool track saws. I like both of them. I would say I use the Kreg most… probably because of the convenience of using it with the ACS table
You have Foureyes between the two of you, but that's not counting the person filming. What if the name changed every time a new set of eyes was added to the team?
Love your vids! Thanks for sharing! I have 15+ yrs as a tool and die maker/cnc machinist. I’ve done some woodworking on the side. I definitely feel I have the skills sets to start woodworking as a side hustle. The space seems over saturated though. I want to spend about 10k on a cnc router, planer, and drum sander. I already have a router/router table , skil saw, table saw and various other hand tools. But is it worth it? Any thoughts guys? Should I take the plunge?
This video is a vibe XD and actually pretty illuminating about your process. Cool to see a shop set up with filming in mind. Also thanks for the tips with the 'wave ;)
This was a bit of different workshop tour. I really hope you make a long form video on microwave etiquette too. On a different note, do you guys have a podcast?
Dudes. Best shop tour ever.
“ you don’t wanna be hanging around all you wave head friends pressing 1 1 2”
that was the best line of the video for sure... legit laugh out loud moment.
I've watched a lot of shop tour videos. This one is the worst.
Giving it a thumbs up anyway because I learned some tricks to show my wave head friends.
For the record, i thought the drill "bit" was hilarious. Your battery release speeds are unmatched!

Thanks brother
I'm over here thinking about that one time on the podcast chris was acting like shawn saying "...Oh...I like planes...." lmao

The microwave stuff is funny, but it really does kinda' reflect the whole "efficient order of operation" approach.
It's true :)
Such a sick wave, yet it has such a cut-rate pedestal. The Westinghouse deserves a proper table fit for the one true king.
That is the hard truth. Might have to do something about it.
Wave Protection Services have been called. Sitting on a run-of-the-mill table. Shameful.
I’m ashamed at my wave skills. Thanks for the tips. I’ll keep practicing.
I read the description before finishing the video, and I was so confused about the microwave, hahaha. It all makes sense now.
This made me really appreciate the quality of your other videos
"Yeah, back when I lived in Germany and I worked for... ULMIA!"
"What...?"
"Yeah, I didn't build that."
LOL Those German solid beech workbenches are the best. Dang, I left 5 of those in Germany when I moved to the US.
I love that bench! I don't think I'll ever get rid of it.
Literally the best shop tour ever, Love the ending so true.
Oh ye the microwave 😂 I just press go in 30 second bursts 😂 until i reach the desired time 🤣😂
Solid wave technique!
I wish I had a proper shop for a start :'D
Lol, I TOTALLY, already do that with my microwaving! 🤣😂👍🏽
WAS THAT AN OLD FRIGIDAIRE FRT16NRG IN YOUR KITCHEN. And you chumps thought the microwave is the heart of your shop.
Honestly, one of the funniest and best shop tours I’ve ever seen. Bravo, gentlemen.
I'm waiting for the part where one of you says "You wanna go do karate in the garage?" YUP!!!!
nice Explosions In The Sky reference at the end :D
I’m a forever subscriber just from the microwave bit. I’ve been trying to spread these techniques for years.
🤣🤣 worth it for the microwave advice. Great video as always guys.
Got so excited about the microwave education. I'm a huge fan of the double number push.
Cool guys, microwave room was the best part, and you know what ever since I saw the assembly table with wheels you guys have, am building me one, you have great space, congrats…greetings from Santa Cruz Bolivia

You guys are hilarious! 🦾
The tour was awesome! Thanks for sharing and always being awesome!
I see a scorpion in your artpiece Chris! You guys have an amazing shop together!
from one wave-head to another: more wave content please
Wave knows wave :)
Biggest pet peeve here (esp being in an office environment) is the lazy bum that doesn't clear out their remaining time if they stop it early & then you have to do it yourself before using it.
Go Cubbies! Still representing the Cubs after the fire sale is awesome. They will be back!
Freaking brilliant! That’s a classic wave…
the classicest brother
Check out the Rip/Flip fence Woodpecker has for Sawstop table saws. Allows you to have set and repeatable widths & lengths.
lol freakin goons XD the microwave info was clutch, was hopin for it the whole time lol
best part of the vid
You guys are really obsessed with plane and helicopers. Haha.
Weird. I've had the same thought a few times and I also work in marketing.
I too saw instantly a scorpion, and wanted to see if I was the only one, which I clearly wasn't, and it makes me feel a bit less weird for a moment, as I often see things nobody else see ... :D
Stay creative (y)
I'm game for coming down from Fresno 😂
Most awaited video ❤️
Nice walk through gents! I do like how much space you have in the shop. Right now I feel cramped at times in my shop.
The most interesting part and obviously more important is the microwave button pushing technique. Just Impressive.
That is exactly how I wave. Heat my coffee in the morning either 33 or 44 seconds.
Two words: Custom Mid-century Modern Faux Plug. Math isn't my strong suit, but it would be hilarious for that hole in the tool wall.
Omg please do the microwave episode lol. Im loving the microwave etiquette!
Ooh White-Westinghouse microwave! That's the Mobius+Ruppert of waves! Nice.
It's a chicken and the egg situation. is WW the M+R of Waves or is M+R the WW of sharpeners?
Old microwave ovens almost never die. Just junked an old GE because the bottom was worn and a little rusty. Otherwise probably had another 25 years in it... Also have 2 microwaves "in waiting" ... don't ask. The shortcut time entry is an old, old trick - really confuses those who don't know it ...
Best shop tour ever!
Nobody:
Shaun: “OH BABY!”
I did not anticipate laughing as much as l did at the microwave portion when they started into it
Super Mario Squids are called Bloopers... in case someone wanted to know... Imagine the potential number of Mario rulers you could store in a cabinet under the saw.
An brutally honest shop tour. Go figure.
Love you guys. Keep doing what you're doing.
Thanks Michael
love the microwave part
That's a nice wave
I can’t wait for the microwave video!!!

hands down the dumbest thing i've watched all day. can't wait for part 2.
Now I have to see a test between your impact drivers! Makita vs Festool vs Hitachi!!!
On the white Westinghouse you guys are demented
Chris can you comment on your Kreg track saw table? Do you use it? Do you also have the saw or some other, and do you like the saw? I noted you have other tracks (Festool I think) so what system do you find yourself using the most and why? Thanks !

you're both such goofballs - I loved this video lol
Guilty
With the lathe maybe you can make some pencil looking things and practice sharpening them with your Möbius and Ruppert :)
You have Foureyes between the two of you, but that's not counting the person filming. What if the name changed every time a new set of eyes was added to the team?
Actually, Foureyes is the guy with glasses.
I really enjoyed microwave etiquette!
Best part
Pretty heavy microwave operation content at 11:20. Looking forward to the full microwave video.
The art looks like a scorpion, and you have more than enough room to set up your miter saw!
Hell Yeah! SHOP TOUR :D
:)
Nonono, not the worst shop tour, actually second best, after Bob's ILTMS April's 1rst one !
We will have to check that one out!
YES!
Hello, how many square meters ?
Thanks.
This is the greatest change you’ve made to the channel, y’all are funny
Surely Chris's living art is a Jockson Pallock
whats with the baby bathtub in the toilet? you running a day care there or something? between building furniture?
No more sharing the warehouse space now. Awesome
My down right favorite part of this not a shop tour was the complete breakdown of microwave etiquette. I have a ton of improvement to make...
What are the blue tables u guys use? Kreg something?
What are those devices clipped to your hats? Mics?
Jelly

If you like doing it, then go for it! The cream rises to the top.
Ty for this
Ty for watching
Shaun Boyd - Foureyes welcome didn’t see it all though
Shaun Boyd - Foureyes welcome
What I've learned here it that a fly is a "he". It's a "she" in my native language. Very informative tour, thank you.
i think in America and Canada ppl say the same for thier gender
Do you guys know how many sqft the main workspace is?
Oh yeah!
This video is a vibe XD and actually pretty illuminating about your process. Cool to see a shop set up with filming in mind. Also thanks for the tips with the 'wave ;)
Glad we could help
chris' art is obviously a scorpion
Good eye mate
This was a bit of different workshop tour. I really hope you make a long form video on microwave etiquette too. On a different note, do you guys have a podcast?
It's obviously a scorpion Chris!
Ding ding ding! Winner!
@@shaunb66 awesome! Let me know when you're ready to ship my prize and I'll provide my address. 🤣🤣🤣
Why didn’t you plug that hole in your wood handing board?
Your shop has a porcelain bidet? @8:20 That is some high class.
Greg was such a better character than Chris’ X-Carve…
SquareSpace had no idea this is what they were paying for 😂
That really was the worst shop tour ever - which is why it was so amazing.
This guy gets it
There are two kinds of countries, those that use the metric system, and those who have put a man on the moon LOL
I thought I was the only one who did that with the microwave timer
😂😂😂😂 the microwave
Is that a Super 73 I see!!!!!!!!
What are they wearing on their hats??
Why have you been holding back the microwave tips? Mind blown!
I have been using the microwave wrong for 30 years!
Just bought one of those microwaves on eBay
as a Wavehead I gotta go back to the buttons all I have is a dial that gies 1 to 10 then 5 increments like 10 15 20 not that great
14:13 no uh, I laughed cus I would probably do the same hahaha
I think it looks like a colorful little sanrio alligator
I feel like they act this way all the time. Just a couple of goofballs with a knack for making cool furniture and videos.
