Everybody knows Dave would’ve given it a higher score if that snooty guy didn’t call it the best pizza in the world.
That food "expert' is a db to begin with, simply because he's a NY snot.
@@JesusChrist-ei2yh Look at that subtle no flop. The tasteful thinness of it. Oh my God, it even has a char...
@@tritech I would have spit that first tooth cracking piece out. But the rest was just okay. There's a whole world of flop pizza lovers.
Maybe a 7.5.
I feel like I would go through that pizza in 5 minutes and wonder where my meal go. Unless I ordered a giant side of fries and a Coka-Cola. Plus ketchup on the fries.
Trust me it’s that good
"If it never hits the box, you are always ahead of the 8-ball"
Good ole' Dave... always ahead of the 8-ball. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Dave is mixing his metaphors
Dave's words of wisdom! I don't think he was talking about the pizza yet🤣
Dave's head is usually INSIDE the 8ball
You guys got permission to shoot on my patio today?
HAHAHAHAHAHA
😂😂😂😂😂🔥
Lmfao imagine
Imma need you to go thataway 👉👉
One bite, this is the most level-headed review we've seen from Dave in a while.. In before the sniff sniff

Is there some story I haven’t seen of him being into the sniffles?

That pizza went limp quicker than that guy who got his first hand job in the back room at Wells pizza in Racine WI back in 83.
Edit: 1984 not 83
I was the guy that got the hand job at Wells in 83......

Haha he gave " best pizza in the world" a 7.3 I absolutely love this Guy!!! Honest to his core!!!
Guy gives scores depending on who is watching, the story of the place, pressure from crowds LOL Come on man. Honest ROFL
I could make Dave a frozen pizza but cook it 2 min longer than I should, tell him I have been open since 1912, and get a 9.1
@@rsplatpc hahaha 💯
Or he doesn't know his f*ckin oizza
@@andyleo8418 dude has literally filmed himself eating over a 1000 slices of pizza. you gotta figure he's picked up something at this point
This guy inspired me I saw Chefs Table I’ve been making my own Pizza ever since I’ve spent hours and hours in my kitchen making my own pies great show this poor guy actually got asthma from working with flour his whole life he had to fall back a little bit God bless this Pizza Chef he changed my life♥️
wear a mask, no asthma. coal miners, smokers, etc its not rocket science we were born to breathe air not dust.
Did you also try it or only see the show ?
I only saw the show I’m in P.A.far from Arizona
Actually same thing happened to me
@@heyitsmespider6792 from pa too, angelos in philly is great
Austin sitting there thinking “Hurry up Dave my pizza’s getting cold!”
Cold and floppy apparently
Austin sucks fankie was the man
How did dave end up reviewing pizzas and how did I end up so fascinated? Lol
One bite everybody knows the rules…….binge watch these reviews
You took about 9 GIGANTIC bites before you even got your first impressions dialed in! 😂
0:19 - the "clap" in perfect sync with the end of that beautiful jingle... Superb.
Chris knows his shit. Period one of the goats...
People from texas "it's worth the drive!" proceeds to give it a 7.3 right infront of them lol. classic.
Pedro Pascal waiter killing it in the back.
Love the way your so honest ! Reputation has to be earned 👍
Haven’t heard that much crunch since Barstool Frozen
For me it's Lucali all the way (Brooklyn location). 7.3 looked like an honest review there
Don’t ever disrespect basil like that
Dave, I have had this a dozen times, never been that crispy........that was custom made. I am in Phx 45 years and rooting for Phx pizza, but no way this is your pizza, and, with all due respect to CB, huge respect btw, this was a fair score. ...btw did I say that was the loudest crisp I have heard in a dozen trips there?
I live in Phoenix but I am from New York and when I saw the hype for this place over the years and then I saw what the pizza looked like, I didn't need to even try it to come to the conclusion that this is not the best pizza place in the world. When you know, you know. Pizza has a look even before you smell or taste it, you just know. The best pizza in the world is not an easy answer but, the best pizza I ever has was in Jersey.
Is Buonos the move?
@@vendetta_vlogs Not sure exactly what you mean but Buonos in Gilbert is now Amici’s
I used to work for the mason who built the pizza oven. Back in like 1998. Chris is Amazing.
Dave keeping it real, doesnt care what others think!
Still tho - surprised at a 7.3 when I look at some of the other pizzas score…
Maybe if the owner was standing there, or a crowd was pressuring him, or even if the place had a great story if it was there for like 80 years, that score goes up. This is all entertainment. He gave a pizza a month ago from Cali a 6.4, and he only took one bite. His face HATED it and the comments all said his face said 3.x lol
Pomo in Scottsdale is right there with this one on the Neapolitan pizza chart.
Steve never disappoints, hits it outta da park again!👍😉😁😎
Im glad you tried more than one place ,,
I just went there. Ask for no basil leaves and not oil added on top. Very crispy. Very good. 8.1
I absolutely agree. I’ve had it many times…my favorite bar was across the court yard, so yea, lots of pizza. I grew up in NJ and live in Chicago, so I’ve had ALOT of pizza and I’m with him. When I think pizza, I think NY style. But let’s be clear, I will eat almost any pizza. Pizza is fuckin great!
Dave just ended that man's career with that 7.3, can you imagine Dave on Netflix Chef's Table? I see why he didn't get the call.
Hearing that crunch is giving me goosebumps.
Huge review,huge.
Ziggy's Magic Pizza shop in Downtown Phoenix has the best NY style IMHO in this area. The crust is prefect weather you like crisp, medium, or soft (Floppy). Has a cool speakeasy additionally, I give it an 8.3
Well, the reviews are subjective people have their various preferences but you know it’s damn good when you’re enjoying the hell out of it and it’s not exactly up your alley
If this had the crisp all the way through, it would’ve been high 7s low 8s. Tough but fair score.
Dave use to say Neapolitan stops at 7.3.... and he stayed true, LEGEND
0:18 shoutout to the fucking G that synced the clap with the music
I don't think people realize that at 7.3 for a Neapolitan pizza is an outstanding score. He's basically saying it's an amazing pizza for what it is, it's just not his style.
What's your favorite oven type? Also if you haven't tried silver beach pizza in Michigan I highly suggest you do. Amazing environment around the end of August. Padova's is probably my favorite in the Columbus area so far.
One heckler in the crowd everybody knows Dave is afraid he's a mob guy .
Good review
Ive eaten at Pizzeria Bianco dozens of times. Its by far one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. There is a place in San Antonio (something like Doughs) the head chef trained under Bianco. His pizza is insanely good also.
However as stated this is a style of pizza so preferences matter. I have been to New Haven and tried Frank Pepe's and couldn't get one from Sally's in time. The look of Sally's is what I wanted but Frank's was outstanding and, in my opinion, outclasses a Neapolitan pizza 10 out of 10 times. That's my opinion and preference.
@@rg20322 If you are doing pizza reviews of every kind of pizza, then you need to be objective and not just rate every pizza according to your own "preference." As an example, you would give good ratings to the best examples of every type of pizza, not just to ones you like the best.
@@mikeymutual5489 relax guy. It's a subjective show. Of course it's opinion based.
@@CilantroJones Yes, it's opinion-based. But if Dave is going to be basing his ratings on his personal biases, then the review ratings will be irrelevant and everyone watching will be wasting their time.
Wildly underscored!
Wow! In guessed it would have been an 8.2... Dave did give it a great score but I thought low 8s for sure.
I have been going to Pizzeria Bianco since the late 90's. In my opinion, this is by far the best pizza I've ever had. There is a good reason why the long lines and why people keep going back. The people win! Chris Bianco wins! Facts!
It's not his style but I think 7.3 is a bit too low, it does look very very good. This is no less than a 8.
if the 2nd and 3rd slices were like the first slice and didn't have the typical neapolitan flop he definitely would have scored it higher.
There's the taste element that we can see on RUclips, that's where he comes in.
I’ve never had pizza like any of these.. live in a small kentucky town it’s Giovanni’s My dads pizza or the chains. That’s it. Never had any pizza like this would love to travel and try some
Pizza looked spectacular.
Who could tell with all those annoying leaves on it?
Neapolitan gets a max 6.0
Hey, just wondering if you still thought the pizza looked spectacular?
It really is spectacular. If you like Neapolitan pizza, Phoenix is the city for you
@@xavvi Neapolitan is so overrated it's hard to even express.
It's about fucking time.
Dude your, dropping the ball, fumble, love ya, let's hear, some big numbers, get on it....
Wow, I definitely would've thought 8.1. But Dave calls it how he sees it.
Dave nearly taking a full basil leaf to the facehole almost crushed the score down below a 7. Tantalizing stuff
watch the netflix doc. each story had one person or agent. promoting them as the best ever. the chef learned how to make pizza in nyc. they make it seem like no one ever thought of using fresh and organic ingredients in nyc or italy. who listens to food critics unless they are chefs. no way it is better than italian pizza or conn nyc. confirmed by dave.
try Rickety Cricket Brewing Co. in Kingman, AZ. One of the best pizzas I've ever had
Please try spinatos in Scottsdale! I’m in no way affiliated but it is by far my favorite spot in Arizona!
blah !!
No amount of crisp can satisfy Steve from Barstool if it’s not new york style, everybody knows the rules.
This is going to sound biased but as a New Haven native who moved to Phoenix I could never understand the hype around Bianco, I've always been curious what a it would score at and I think Dave nailed it, it's good pizza but best in the world...?? Surely not...best in AZ...?..Ok that's a fair claim as it is great pizza for the southwest, even the charred thin crust special they do does not compare to the Pepe's, Sally's, Modern.
Personally I think a Ziggy's (WELL DONE!) is equally as good.
check out his other location on 20th st. they have a more new york style in gas deck ovens.
OMG Bianco gets an 7.3. NO WAY. That is Dave's ego rating not his taste buds. Even for a Neo it should be upper upper 7s if not low - mid 8's. Sorry Dave, I have been there, not buying this review.
please try clock work pizza in tempe, you have to its the best pizza in arizona
I agree with Dave on the style. I used to think Neapolitan was the best... basically just because hipsters said it was the best. Soggy pizza though is not the best and can't get more than an 8 in my book.
FRATTELIS PIZZA IN FLAGSTAFF AZ. MUST TRY!!!!
You were in Milwaukee (actually, Racine) yesterday. From chapstick to sunscreen in 24 hours. Wth.
Everybody knows the rules…Dave always has a head for the 8 ball!!! Lolol
Bianca’s cornichon wasn’t really even that high. Showing a cross section of the crust would show the gluten development. That’s what makes the puffy, light, crunchy crust.
Why put full size Basil leafs ? I don’t understand. Does anyone get it ?
The pizza on the bottom of the screen at the 16 second mark looked better then the one Dave had.
8.4 I was thinking. Shocker
This dude isn’t even grading pizza for the taste or anything anymore. He’s just grading it based off what style he likes.
Just went there…..delicious. But…….is it worth the wait, I’ve had a couple close too back in Chicago (Neapolitan). So no. The meat option i got was too chewy.
2:17 this is a LEGENDARY bite
Shout out good service. waiter man was workin it, great job 👏
Chef Table is amazing yo!!
7.3 is a mind boggling score. but. respect the pres.
Crisp. No flop on the first slice but took a second. I get the Neapolitan but god if that’s not an 8+ pizza
Happy national pizza day Dave
A 7.3 neopolitan is like a 9.1 if you do the conversion
7.3?!? Stewards enquiry needed!!
People in here acting like his score is some kind of OFFICIAL number. It's HIS rules, HIS preferences, HIS scores, if you don't agree..leave HIS channel.
I get that good Neo is all about the same taste. Like how all Hazy beers are the same...it's just the point of our lives. We overshared how to make everything and now you can get great stuff everywhere (except CA pizza) and now great is average.
Best crunch dough ever in a pizza his other pizzas are phenomenal too
Been waiting for this one!!!!!!
We knew this wasn't the best but it's very good
Go to Spinatos in Phoenix before you leave. Your mind will be blown. Best pizza ever
Steve keeping it real for that SNOT NOSE PUNK
Shots fired.
"You got permission to film on my Arizona patio?"
At some point Prez needs to open up his own pizza parlor right ?? Name it “A Dime”??
Fined some big #, we been waiting
Lil Jimmy and lil Johnny are sitting patiently waiting for you to go check out Grotto's pizza.
My dude needs to chew his food. Eats like an owl
Ahahahaha, you rated it lower than Brooklyn V's. I haven't tried Bianco's, but from how much that place is hyped up, that's hilarious.
This isn’t the review you wanted 😂
I loved it when I went, top 5
Dave need to go to paradise valley pizza off Bell Rd and 44th St.
Head to the uptown location. You can walk right in
Everybody knows his "starts at 6.8" rule makes no sense. Every pizza starts at 0.0.
My third leg does the Neapolitan flop sometimes
Dave is from New England and his favorite pizzas are from the region Massachusetts and Connecticut he grew up in the same preference and bias we all have.
One sober honest review for a change, everybody knows the rules.
wasn't sober and honest imo. seems like he under-rated it because it's "too fancy"
I've been here many times. It's good. But I agree. If Neopalitan ain't your style, then a 7.3 is acceptable. If you love Neo, this is very very good.
