So good to see David Campese again. I would be cheering for him whenever the Wallabies play. I remember receiving 2 or 3 Australian Wallabies pin when they came to Fiji to play. It was a memory I’ll never forget and thank you Australia for always being there for Fiji rugby especially giving the first opportunity to Fijian Drua team in your local competition. We hope that Fiji will one day give back to you more.
Also, I think they changed that rule about reversing a try after the conversion has been kicked last year due to that Wallabies v All Blacks game where the Wallabie kicker took a quick conversion because he knew the try would get reversed, the French ref was telling him to wait as he was getting word in his ear from the TMO but the wallabie kicked it fast.
The samoa try was able to be reversed because of the Bernard Foley incident last year. Australia had scored and Bernard was about to convert the try when French referee Mathieu Raynal wanted to check a posssible reason to disallow the try. The ref asked foley twice to wait,stop so he could review the try. Bernard converted anyway ignoring the ref, adding two points and preventing the ref from reviewing as the kick had now been taken. They have since changed the rule/law because of the Bernard foley effect.he is the reason the samoa try was taken away because he did not listen to the ref.
The Italians call my country Irlanda, the French call it Irlande and Dutch call ir Irlande. My own Irish son pronounces it Ahrland. I dont get upset about it.
