Oh man. Haven't been stumped by such a simple puzzle like this in a while. I was attempting to cheese it by barely scraping the middle imp thru the middle gap. Didn't even think about moving him first
They kind of play dirty with this one. I had an approach that was working and they literally took away one of the knockback cards so I couldn't finish. It's definitely tricky to work out.

My first experience with this challenge is what inspired me to make guides for all of them. Absolutely hated it, and didn't want other people to have to suffer through all the trial and error to get to a solution!

Yo I swear I did this the first time but it took away my last knockback card when I was about to beat it. Now it works after I watch this 😂
This challenge is super fussy. If you do just one thing differently than they want, then it screws you out of being able to finish. Glad you were able to make it through and collect the rewards!

How do you do the other challenges?
I have individual guide videos for each of the hero challenges.
Does anyone understand why you lose a card during your fifth turn randomly if you dont move one of them right??
As best I can tell, it's literally done for the purpose of forcing you to follow the sequence the developers want you to. They wanted just one solution to each challenge and some of the tools they used to force that are less than great in my opinon.

Are you going to do a playthrough? FWIW i'd prefer if you only showed the combat. The socialising is even more tedious when you are watching someone else do it :D
Yes I do plan to do a playthrough. I'm focusing on getting some guides done this week and then I should be able to record. I understand your lack of enthusiasm for other parts of the game, but I don't know that most of my audience would embrace a series where I edit out literally half the game but maybe I'll do a poll to ask how people feel about me cutting back the presence of some of this stuff.

@TapCat I haven't played the game yet but came here to see if anyone else had asked about a playthrough. For what it's worth, I kinda DO want to see the socializing, because I'm trying to figure out how annoying I'd find it and if I should buy the game. I trust you'll find the right balance though! Looking forward to the playthrough either way!

me, though, i love all of them, and having that flavor text and interaction is great for me
but if you're not into that kind of thing, stay away

They could have simply just actually gave you all the rules to the puzzle, not a third of the parameters smfh... Thats not a good puzzle, its lazy AF, just intentionally excluding information to make it seem more difficult than it is. More and more games are doing this lately and its a terrible trend
I agree with you 100%. This challenge was such a pain for me to solve, that I immediately resolved to make a whole series of guides for each character's challenge puzzles.

Swear after watching 0:44 seconds I realised how easy this was 🥲 feel like a right idiot
What makes this challenge difficult is that there are several possible paths that are equally probable, but the game will prevent you from succeeding unless you follow the exact steps that the developers had decided that they wanted you to. For example, you can be on track to finish and a card will be taken from your hand. All of this is simply to say that you don't need feel bad, this thing can be a total pain to solve!
