I love the kid but I don't what you're talking about xD Yes, he had a few flashy dishes but come on, they're absolutely not the same type of players ! Can you explain ?!

@@CesarNoelQ Ok, I can see what you mean. I feel like Manu was already much more creative with the ball and has much more instinctive drives to the basket. Sidy's slashing game is much more "physical oriented". He's also stronger on the defensive end (Manu came up as a "clever defender" but not a "strong" one). Oh, and Sidy seems much more easy to coach :D

French people follow french players but we don't have a special connection with the Spurs. French people have a variety of favorite teams. I know there is a lot of Knicks, Lakers and Bulls fans , Warriors fans for the younger generation. Now it looks like the Spurs draft french players for a second generation so maybe this connection will grow. But honestly I'll give you two tips to get a french market: 1)play NBA games in Paris/host events in France during the off season, 2) don't stop our players from competing for the national team (I'm not implying you did but be public that you will not) A third tip seems obvious, help Victor and Sidy be great and MARKET them GLOBALLY. We won't dream about them or the Spurs if it's just a french thing. Tony Parker and Boris Diaw inspired us but the majority were dreaming about MJ, Kobe, Lebron and Steph. As for the Knicks, French people have a special connection with NYC (1st american city we visit)
Either you're young or got blinded for 15 years, but putting Knicks and Spurs at the same level in terms of french interest is a crime LA/Bulls are just for the historic/branding side
@@odran8478 And you probably never set foot in France so shut the hell up. Nobody was rooting for the Spurs to win with Keldon or Dejounte here. Even when Tony Parker was playing it was Kobe Bryant's jersey that everybody was wearing on the playground... or Iverson's... or D-Rose's. I don't even know if there is a single year a Spurs jersey cracked the top 10 sales in Europe.

Exactly this👆🏾, can’t wait for sidy to be guarding the other teams best player with sochan and wemby👀 mannn its gonna be a fun season for us!!!
I have to be honest I'm french and I didn't know him before the Draft and I love his positive energy
Super excited to see what this team can do next season 🎉

Trop content que les Spurs l'ont recruté. Lui Victor et Jeremy ça va faire mal
God bless Sidy Cissoko! He is a future star for the Spurs💪🏻💪🏻
Excited for this kid 🎉
These last few drafts have been awesome for us and I hope we can turn this into wins in the regular season and beyond
Let's go Sidyyyyyy 🔥🔥
Sidy is a 6'8" French version of early years Manu Ginobili

Go spurs go
I like this ❤❤❤💕❤💕❤💕❤💕💕❤💕❤
Sidy is going to be great in 2 years when he's in the starting lineup.
I think he’ll play way before that, him and Rice were steals
@@Wembymania37 There's no room for him, which is why he won't be in the starting lineup. Keyword, starting lineup.
I think he'll be in the second unit next season, then starting lineup. Patience is the key.
He reminds me of a mixture of Borris Diaw and Kyle Anderson
Wow! I have watched his highlight reels since the draft and totally see what you mean, good take.

Welcome Sidy GSG babyyyyy
نعم
with His body built, I think He can guard Lebron and the other team's best 3&4 player👍💪
Size and length are perfect. I dont want him to bulk up too much, he has that wiry agility that bulk may mess with

I'm sure because he's French, and because of Victor, was a big reason why they drafted him...not saying he's not talented either
