Honestly, the fear of rejection can even take the form of rejecting others before they have the chance to do the rejecting

There is so much truth here but as he said I am free. Free to ask will the approval of God in Christ of which I'm clothed bring genuine virtue. Not fake virtue to please God but drive me no to "be myself" but be like Him? What if his sarcasm as he jokingly said makes people cry? Yes I don't want to please people and don't have to please God but what if me being "as God created me" hurts people? Can God make me, not better or good but am I free to be virtuous, genuinely? Isn't that as beautiful as shedding my sun of self focus? It's not "Sweeter as the Years Go By" but more desperate for Him as the years go by that makes me sweeter to others not because I care by to point to others that genuinely broken redeemed children of God shovel his sweetness onto our world in AA-genuine stark naked honest virtues that I without thinking or asking for approval, I dance and sing of Him and that dance and singing of him is virtue meaning dancing and singing of His virtue shed to save me from joy how I was made but despite the fallenness of how I was born. We are brothers in Christ and I thank God for you. Brad

Here's a question, how many times in my growing up years did I hear "children are to be seen and not heard" But God!
