About 40 years ago a friend of mine created a variation of table tennis where a empty pop can was placed on the table centerline one paddle length from the end. It created wild deflections that really improved a players reflexes. Also, if you knocked over your opponents can you won the game outright. IIRC knocking your own can over lost you the game.
He called the variant "pivous-whiss".
It was hilarious to play.

I like that you are stonefaced when you hit your trickshots, unlike some other trickshots channels on youtube where they always seemed surprised to make it or do excessive celebrations.

Love to see these guys in a real tournament. They must crush it.
Performing tricks that likely took many takes is not the same as winning tornaments. It`s similar to these kids with insane football skills that can destroy everyone at their local football club, but when they try it against pros, the tricks don`t work. Not that I am taking anything away from these guys, and their dedication!

@@youngguitar9133 its easy to spin like i can do it cause i have have exp in tt from the past 6 years but for begginers and average players its easy as well but the amount of backspin emil had was tremendous for that trickshot

In my opinion I think level 10 should be a bit higher, making the ball float telepathically is a very hard skill to learn, and also then hitting it as well.

It actually buffled me in ping pong and chess, that they have so many levels, and those, just a level down, doesn't really have the chance against the one level higher.

Well it's not defying anything. It's fully based on the way you spin the ping pong ball. You can even try it at home by taking a ping pong ball, spinning it backwards while throwing it forwards a bit. It will bounce back to you and if you leave it on it's own, it will even follow a zig Zag route on the floor with each bounce.
