I think I would go with the "perfecting the pants pattern" option. Because while it may be tedious and complicated, once you have achieved that ideal fit, all the fitting work is done and you can just sew them up as needed. I liked the look of the New Look 6643 in particular. My second pick would be to go for one of the lifestyle capsules, and my pick for that would be Simplicity 1467.
My vote is for pants as the first choice and capsule wardrobe from one pattern pack as the second. I am desperately trying to regain my sewjo and would love to watch your progress with whichever you go with!
I think the pants pattern would be great! I would love to see how they turn out because this is something I've always wanted to try too. Second choice would be the coordinates pattern(s).
I love making pants and I wear them the most. I learned many lessons in pants making in Jr High. And now more than 40 years later I recommend the process. You will love them
I was all for the Butterick 6766 pants until you said option #3 with hacking a pattern -- I'd love to see you make a pattern into something that's your own!
I vote palmer pletsch! They are a real classic in the garment-fitting world. They have the book "Pants for Real People" that goes in-depth into pants fitting, as well. Might be a good companion if you choose to dive into that pattern.
Great ideas! I would like to see the wardrobe series. I've actually thought about that myself but never got around to it.... so I guess my decision is a little biased 😄. The thought of making big girl pants gives me anxiety because of my shaping in the abdominal area.. I'll personally have to stick with elasticated waistbands for now. No matter what you decide, I'm sure it'll be great!
Hi! I'd like to see a 3d chois. I think it woud be realy intresting - different fabric and details! It can be surprise! And i think wardrobe set is toooo popular. And about pans - its nightmare in my case. Even with proffecional help((((
Back to work has been keeping me over the top busy - don't even turn on my computer on most weekdays when I get home. Certain times of the work year are just super draining :(
@@WeekendsWithG I understand just like my work too. I don’t even check my phone for like 9 hours some times. Please take care dear and thank you for your videos always x
Awwww thank you for checking up on me though! Sometimes it feels like I just fall off the blog but I'm definitely learning to manage the balance better... there are times I recognize I need to simply turn things off. Sending good energy your way!
@@WeekendsWithG it’s very kind of you. I have watched your videos for years and was checking back through some of your first videos just for fun. Thank you for your positive energy and outlook on life.

I love the thought of the wardrobe/co-ord patterns! But do perfect the pants.

Great ideas. I would love to see all options from a lifestyle/wardrobe coordinates pattern or, as my second option, hacks of the same pattern
Too many good choices 🤣. I’d love to venture into pants making too. It’s so scary!

The black pants from the patterns D0547 look really nice! 💝
Looking delicious here.
