This song demonstrates once again his incredible versatility and his wish not to be limited to his insane range. He has masterpieces without vocal acrobatics (Amanat, Qairan Elim, Omir Oter, Samaltau, Thousand miles a common dream, Marigolds, etc...).
He probably chose to use a very delicate breathy voice because he considered that it was the most suitable for the message of this song.
It is full of contrasts: his soft voice and the rhythmic beats, the light and the darkness, the 40's and the electro music, and also the true love and the forced one... I really love his ability to continue surprising us: he doesn't stay in his comfort zone and continues exploring new genres. This is the prove he is a true artist, fed by his art.

Samba (Latin music a Krutoy passion)a Carlos Santana salsa loco Cubana feel, you can't mistake that beat ! A sultry bossa nova voiced Dimash against a 1937 Stalinist Russia in sepia and black and white and the contrast is stunning ! Another brilliant Krutoy/ Dimash collaboration that you can dance samba to !

Greetings from Vietnam 🇻🇳. As always DIMASH is fantastic. The lyrics of this song are deep. The melody is beautiful. It’s like watching a mini movie. Thank you for the reaction. Please continue to react to him .

This video is set in 1937 during the Stalinist purges. The secret police had total power. They executed millions of people--not just their political enemies, but also ethnic minorities who they considered "untrustworthy." This video shows he is a musician and she is a dancer. Musicians, dancers, and artists were among those falsely accused of crimes and executed. His song Daididau was written by a Kazakh dissident writer, poet, scientist and teacher, Mazhan Zhumabaev, who was arrested and murdered during one of these purges in 1938.

Of course Igor Krutoy came up with that 😁😁😁 I still have to admit, that this song grew up on me.... It leaked out before the premiere and I did not like it, I had a feeling, that it did not make a justice to his voice 🙄 the video made the song....
