When people talk about Tony Robbins, or Napoleon Hill, or "The Secret," very few of them know that Wallace Wattles was their predecessor by far. Theosophy and 'New Thought' as it was referred to in the early 1900s was (and is) revelatory and revolutionary. One of my favorite books by one of my favorite authors, for sure. Having this audio reference online is invaluable. Grateful for All.

Ohh--you stepped over the line there,--"becoming a great man and a man that becomes a God".
That is not what religion teaches. It teaches you can never be as great as God, you will always sin, because man is not great by nature.
Well--that is what Gods "teachers" teach anyway. (from this collectivist pope on down)
I look at God as a hero, but not something to worship, to place myself as a subservient to; but to admire, and emulate by free will and choice. I have other hero's, both mythical and real human beings, who I strive to emulate just as much, if not more.
Just like any hero, that is presently larger than life (and good all the time, not these semi villain/hero's put before our kids today to look up to),---the values and virtue are obtainable by man.
Shame on any teacher that claims man can not be perfect. I think man can be perfect, if we were taught it is possible. If perfection is not obtainable, mankind would still be going in the right direction---if man was not labeled as evil, (by nature, instead of good by nature), by a "self sacrificial altruistic society".

Listening to this book at 01:29am and my third eye started to vibrate, my whole body vibrating also, I couldn't sleep was hearing sounds. I managed to sleep a few minutes then I heard something like a big thunder which woke me and there was no thunder.... my heart beating so fast.
Each words I hear feels like I'm connecting with it more more and more but deeply like a waking trance.
I had to stop it, yet couldn't sleep. I can't explain it all in writing of what happened. At some point I felt as if time stopped and went back... My question is, the feelings is it normal or what?
I have been reading THE SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH and my main goal is for greatness, health, riches and abundance in my life. I became obsessed for riches lately.
Can someone who know more explain to me better.
    Thank you.

Hi Elizabeth, nothing to worry, you are waking up to your greatness. It's normal, your mind is being purified from lies..I started having similar experiences when I first read some new thought teachers, mostly the books of Neville Goddard , I Know my father, the power of awareness, ..etc..my whole body would vibrate as I listen to the audio and in bed I would hear sounds, have lots of lucid dreams, see colors, thinking it was happening outside to just realize as I was waking up that all was coming from within me..I also want to manifest my greatness, abundance, joy peace..all is wonderful when you know you are one with the infinite power..all is well and very well with you

The science of being great is analyze the situation and respond accordingly. It is ones ability to do the right thing for the given situation. To obtain greatness one must recognize there weaknesses and develop them to either proficient or masters level. As well as developing multiple fall back options and plans should a certain situation to most common situation to least common situation come at hand. One can make a perfect plan worthy of bringing into existence however their is no such thing as a plan that has no errors or mistakes as men and women we can only do so much with the tools we have been provided with. For example lets your going to get a job them a earthquake happens and the road is blocked off you them have lost your job due to the fact that someone managed to receive it first but them you wonder why I had everything mapped and planned out there are just some things that just cannot be controlled that are just beyond man's control such as earthquakes accidents etc. Remember the key to being great is through power and will the means to do something and having to strength to do it.

    DARN IT!!!!
The book started out so "great", as it talked about every man/woman having a mind they can form, and then it gets into religion, which does not respect individual rights to the extent to form your own mind.
If religion and tyrants allowed man to think on their own, to discover how the universe works, man would have visited the moon before the 1400's.
Religion and communism are related (look at this Pope), and primitive philosophies (hey--man had to start somewhere) because they don't respect individual rights--or the business man.
But wasn't it the implementation of "individual rights protected by law" (Aristotle, the original USA founding father), and capitalism in the citizens hands, that allowed us to use our minds they way we wanted to as individuals (working together by free will--and profit) that raised the standard of living for everybody in the nation---in a much more civil and prosperous society,---than religion or communism has every done in all recorded time before?
If the Bible goes through one more reformation, insisting that living under the philosophies of "individual rights" is the supreme morality for man to live under,---the dictators will fall around the globe, and the Pews would overflowith,---including with my fanny.
I believe God has seen how man can be great starting with the implementation of individual rights in the USA, and the industrial revolution that soon followed, with law--protecting each individual from criminals, and government force.
God just has not taught his old teachers (from the Pope on down) to teach it,----much like a progressive professor will not teach it in at Harvard. "INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS"!
