May there be peace among us all. By birth I am half catholic, half jewish. Now i am a buddhist nun, but also in love with arabic culture, including sufism, i am learning arabic and would love to oneday translate the suttas into arabic.
I like this chant. Whenever i hear buddhist chant.. I feel so calm and happy..like being at the place where there are so many shining light, cloud, golden building..and chanting.
Thank you for the beautiful chanting. On 20/7, I received my first ever Centrelink jobseeker payment, total amount of $846.43 after tax. I want to donate all these money to express my gratitude for your beautiful chanting. I went to the website, there are so many different category of donations which I confuse which one I should choose. I am already making small amount of monthly contribution through patreon. Thanks.
Thank you, the Buddhist chant is so comforting to my spirit. So saintly and pure feeling in my heart. May Buddha bless the monks and nuns chanting, May Buddha bless whoever hears the chant. May all will be able to achieve enlightenment so we will meet all Buddhas in nirvana.
You have no idea how much this helped this me helped through opiate and sedative withdrawal and the counselling I had during recovery. And now some years later a divorce. I am eternally grateful and I am re-starting vipassana meditation classes and getting my life back together and I am trying to at least live my life and self-improve loosely based on the noble path. Love you all. xx PS is there a transcript of the English version transcript?
Petros Savos That’s so good to hear Petros...may you stay strong and wise! There are English versions...it may be on the bswa website under taking Refuge or something like that. Wish you well!
Thank you & gratitude to all who participated in the chanting which i am limited to a few. I have in the past experienced that chanting in Pali with understanding, clear consciousness & virtue has uncanny benefits in matters of urgency. May all be well, happy & peaceful.🙏🙏🙏
Bcoz after ordaining females buddha saw that the life time of buddha sasana will be reduced in to half. So he refuced to do so.. but after considering Ven.Anandas 3 times requesting He saw a method to overcome the problem.. So he introduced few more rules for nuns then the nuns accepted them. So the bhikkuni sasana was established.

I still wonder why Buddha initially refused to ordain nuns. Can someone explain?
Bcoz after ordaining females buddha saw that the life time of buddha sasana will be reduced in to half. @@Webuddhists-z5j Did you mean samsara? ? Thank you
