Seriously Deadpool/Ryan Reynolds resurrected some of the classic hits since Deadpool 1 Air Supply, DMX, in Deadpool 2 he literally saved Celine Dion and here at Deadpool 3 he revived Nsync hit, Madonna, and Hells Bells. You have to give him credit for using all the lost hits instead of creating a new music because I'm in love with all these oldies

I’ve loved this song since I was a kid. Hearing it in the movie had me smiling and bobbing my head the entire time. Couldn’t have picked a better opening song if I tried

To answer the question of who's idea it was to include the dance, It was the genius of John Likens, the Method Studios director of the opening title sequence. When he was pitching his design of the titles, the song was already in the film, but it was John's idea to have Deadpool dance. So he learned the choreography and filmed himself in a motion capture suit doing the dance. He added the Deadpool skin to his motion capture and showed it to Ryan and Shawn. Shawn told John "this is a one in a million idea and you nailed it!" The rest is history.
