I know you hate miis but in Miitopia you can use the makeup option to edit them so much that they don’t even look like miis anymore(it’ll require skill though,and the only thing that makes them not look like miis(with makeup)are their heads(look at all the options in makeup)(and try wigs too))!
In my opinion, Kingdom Battle the better of the two, I loved it and was also hyped for the second game, but It couldnt really keep up with it's game play and everything. So in my Opinion Kingdom Battle is a must play if you enjoyed Sparks of hope.

As a bonus, the DLC that Sparks of Hope got can be summarized in simple terms Painfully repetitive; Tough early on but better when you can do more; and then Phantom.
There's one gripe, ONE GRIPE i have with this game, the rest is perfect. WHY CAN'T YOU GO BACK? "Oh, it's for the story" SCREW THAT. IF I WANT TO PLAY ON MY FILE AGAIN, I HAVE TO LEAVE EVERYONE PLANTIFIED! THERE'S BASICALLY END! (besides that this game is amazing thank you nintendo)
