Modern Kadampa Buddhism is a special, practical presentation of Buddha’s teachings that is particularly suited to the modern day. It was introduced into contemporary society by the world-renowned meditation master and scholar Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
Modern Kadampa Buddhism preserves the meaning and intention of Buddha’s original teachings while presenting them in a clear and systematic way that anyone of any nationality, age or gender can easily understand and put into practice.

Can you give context for "faith"? In the Buddhas and the Lineage Teachers I presume?

Faith functions to induce virtuous aspirations. In this context, there are three types of faith: Believing, Admiring and wishing. Believing is placing your hypothesis that certain objects within the tradition are sacred and useful. Admiring is the inbetween state where you realize many of them are, but do not quite grasp the extent. Wishing is wanting to engage deeply because you understand they actually function as they state they do. For example: the Six Perfections, the Noble Truths, the Union of Two Truths, etc. You also put this in the Buddhas and your spiritual guide. The emphasis here is the Guide as this is a Guru Yoga tradition.
