Awesome explanation! I was confused about the entitlements and offers, but you explained them in a very detailed and simple way. Thank you! Great content!
So far this has been an extremely helpful tutorial series. I have everything for my app that I am making done basically except for in app purchases. I have that partially functional using revenue cat, but I haven’t got it working properly yet and after watching this series so far I can already see corrections that I need to go back and make. I have been stuck, unable to get revenue cat figured out for my SwiftUI app so far. I think especially right now, with SwiftUI, App Developer at is becoming accessible to more people. I know that has been the case for me. I didn’t understand UIKit, but I’ve got an app almost fully completed with SwiftUI. Your teaching style has been the most understandable for me of all the different online app development teachers. I’m hoping revenue cat gives you the opportunity to do further tutorials using SwiftUI. Thanks for everything you do! I’m excited to dig into the next video in the series!
Great tutorial ! I am trying to add multiple monthly packages i can create the first one simply by choosing "Monthly" as identifier but when i create the second package in offerings, i cant choose monthly again as it shows the identifier is already in use I chose "Custom" then but the issue with custom is, in my code; i cant see the package type. its throwing UNKNOWN type for some reason though the product is of monthly type do you have any idea how can i solve this?
By when would you say the new swiftUI sign in and account creation tutorial will be released? Within this month maybe? also just want to say I love the channel
@@CodeWithChris Yes, please, the sooner the better. I have an SwiftUI App called Better Shuffle on the Appstore already and want to get going adding an in-app purchase option.
I know that this is irrelevant to the video but I have a quick question do I need another app to create a swift playground? When I open Xcode I only have three options: Create a new Xcode project, Clone an existing project, and Open a project or file.
Hey Chris, First of all, I have to say an amazing series you have. I have one question if I have an app on both stores (Google Play Store and App Store) and both stores have two In-app purchases added to them. Now what I did that in App Store I have unique product_ids and on the Play Store, I copy the same product_ids from App-Store and use them as product_id for the in-app purchases products. So, the question is can I use the same product_ids for different Stores?
"Hello, yes i think you can use since its from the same source (revenue cat) not sure about the final payout you can get though, from what i know apple gets 30% as fee - Francis"
Hello, I know this is off topic to this video, but I'm asking a question in the most recent video. I learned how to code with swift and I download Xcode to learn to make an app. An update came out for Xcode 12.0.1, but the thing is it won't let me update it. It just says... "We could not complete your update There is not enough disk space available to install the product." I was gonna ask what does that mean, and how do I fix it? I mean I have 37Gb storage on my Macbook available, I'm confused why it won't work.

Hello, Xcode can be very demanding sometimes and require a lot of disc space.. it may ask for 50 gb, i think it would be ideal to download it manually if you don't want to free up more space developer.apple.com/download/more or try to clear up the current space occupied by your xcode so uninstall it and re-install on the app store - Francis

Just go to File -> New -> Playground in Xcode ;)
