I remember seeing a documentary about this years ago. It was kinda scary seeing them rip out the outer most coveting and showing the mummies face (blurred out in this video). So disturbing that someone was Will to kill an innocent woman just to make a profit.
Wow, this was a hell of a good story. Being in the U.S. I haven't been able to hear about a lot of these. This was sad, but not surprising. I'm sure this still happens in todays world. Greed seems to rear it's ugly head, no matter where you are. Great story!! Love these videos, thanks Kallen!!😁

I thought this was very interesting to watch. I never liked the fact that these archaeologists take these mummies from their resting place, basically take them apart removing the wrappings and other things just to see how they lived, what they ate, etc. To me this is desecration of a tomb and the mummies shouldn't be removed from their resting places ever. Just because these scientists and other people involved are "curious" doesn't give them a right to keep for research or put them in a museum. They should be left alone to rest in peace. They should not be used as a science or research project. They should be treated with respect.

It seems it wouldn't be very hard to catch the people who did this with expertise needed in ancient forms of embalming,and all that was listed. There can't be to many people who are experts in those methods. I bet the taliban is hunting them down.

So the mummy wasn't really who they thought it was, but did they just... never bother to learn who it actually was -?? Inform her family possibly or any of it? Who was she really? Or did they just not care because she was only a few years dead
This is so disturbing, the poor lady doesn't even have a name and her family is probably still looking for her and hoping she'll come home one day safe and sound. This just shows how far humans have fallen away from God and have been worshipping money and power over everything else. Prayers for the young lady and her family I hope she'll get her name back soon.🙏🙏

a close view of the gold leaf face at 1:58 made me pause the video and have a long hard look at it. There was NO WAY that was the lips and eyes of anything from Antiquity. It looked like the face crafted by a 10 years old! my young grand kids have drawn better!

I think this is a very interesting story all around. I would have enjoyed the video more if it didn't have the "aged" look like it was on a used VHS tape. It was very distracting for me.
I had to watch it again because I was distracted with the breaks on film to make it look old.

I wish the editors would not add the fake lines trying to depict an aged video. It doesn’t work, is distracting, unnecessary for the story and annoying, at least to this viewer.
