50 is a smart business minded dude who has figured the music industry out. One of my wishes is for all the original hip hop artist like 50, ice cube, ll cool j, snoop dogg etc to get one big exclusive collaboration track to just blow all these dancing rappers out the water...
when he was talking about the old 50 part, it totally correlated to my train of thought regarding him.. crazy!
His explanation about why people like Get Rich over new 50 is the best I've ever heard and it pertains to every artist. It's not the music, it's the fact that 50 was new.

50 does great interviews .....most of his new stuff I don't feel, but when he releases underground street stuff, I like that.....I think what it is, is that 50's strong suit is "hardcore" so that when he sounds best

50 cent is funny, intelligent,wise, cocky but confident, what other rapper is like this. he thinks on things on a bigger perspective, looking on different ways to attack from all angles
Rick philly@. I agree. But. Fifty didn't plan on surviving off his music. He is a bussiness's man. Rap was a way to get the means he needed to start his legitimate bussiness's going. As a rapper the last 7 years , no he hasn't put out any fire. But as a mogel and bussiness's man,he is undeniably the best.

because for real 50 i a real nigga. not meaning gangsta or thug or hell shoot that real what real is. he is a smart black man who has overcame adversity and he continues to succeed and he handles his business and takes care of his responsibilities as a man. i dont like his music but as a person hes cool as hell.

"Power Of The Dollar" never came out, that just got bootlegged so much people forgot it wasn't an official release. "Get Rich Or Die Trying" was his first major label album release and when his success started. He wasn't a household name before that.

Dr Dre will not release Detox. Even if he does, it's been so long now, no one cares anymore. That coupled with the fact that he keeps lying to the public that he is going to release it "soon". His career as a rapper is over.
It's just one of those things you put out there and then move on. Accept it for what it is.
