So let's get this straight... The ONE guy they didn't make fun of slept with one of his employees, cheated on his wife, and lied to the public while about projecting the perfect "wife guy" and family man. They fired him because he broke workplace laws and jeopardized their company, not because of a "consensual kiss." They posted a video on their own channel explaining what happened. They did everything legally and morally right here and yet they are ones getting roasted? Just wanted to clarify....
The skit making fun of Ned practically writes itself.
Awwwww muffin. This skit is perfect of how over dramatic this whole thing was. Cheating is wrong yes, but you people are acting like he murdered a family
@@krazyshady902either way this skit is just fucking unfunny and embarassing. The fuck approved of this shit?
@@krazyshady902 It’s the internet. He puts himself out there, he’s not that famous but a lot of people have been watching him, of course he gets bashed for his idiotic decisions. It’s simple really…
@@krazyshady902 you know that a boss having sex with an employee its ilegal, right?
@@krazyshady902 it's super normal. you don't expect normal RUclips star to not cheat on his wife unless the RUclips star make a living out of saying " I love my wife" in every video he's on. he basically make a career by using his wife. for 7-8 years.
I don't expect less. He dig that grave he will have to sleep in it.
Knowing this skit was written by one of neds friends is so telling
omg.. i am clueless lorewise, could i have context?? im dying to know which of the writers of the sketch is friends with ned. was it bowen? thats my immediate assumption but i have no idea
@@weirdalgoth The credits list a writer he is known to befriends with.

So what? It’s funny stop crying.
What about this is funny?
bruh y they defending the guy who cheats on his wife, doesn't matter if it's a concensual kiss, cheating is cheating.
Because it was writen by Ned's friend.
@@triccelelol no wonder it was so biased
I thought it was poking fun of a bunch of guys no one had heard of and everyone making a big deal of 😂
@@gigisilk798 its a big deal to fans cause of the irony ned has for being the family guy and loving his wife, big plot twist

Imagine making a skit making fun of men who have integrity and actually care about their values, as well as protecting their employees by firing a guy who was really selfish and a flat out liar when you are a company/show that has no integrity, and has a really poor history of sexual misconduct and even making skits about how to sexually harrass women at work and get away with it.
It sounds a lot less like you think this situation is stupid and everything to do with protecting your dignity by trying to gaslight everyone into thinking this is stupid. I wonder if they make a collect call to Harvey Weinsteen while hes in prison to get pointers on how to do this skit.
why is SNL protecting with ned 💀💀💀
They want Ned on SNL so they can finally get someone big again
because the skit was made by Ned's friend
Ned has a friend that works in SNL
Because, why do you care so much that he cheated on his wife?
@@desTeufelsdreizack because he made loving her his entire personality 😂 like how did they pick to make a skit over derivative bs over the more hilarious truth
They thought they ate
They did.
@@sirenuls ate shit maybe
@@sirenuls Endergering a company by having an affair with an employee being a boss, by possibly bringing the whole situation to a lawsuit of Sexual misconduct in the work place that could leave the company in bankruptcy and leave thousand of innocent employees jobless not even mentioning the morally wrong thing of destroying two marriages. This is not about three friends being mad and making a petty decision like this video is framing it to be, this is a serious situation not only moral but legal of three bussines owners who are doing the ethical move of removing a problematic employee before it causes more damage to their entire company, the try guys are not prankters making millions, they are professionals, company owners trying to make the correct move so the people who aren't even involve in this incredibly selfish ordeal can't be affected further. So no, they didn't ate
So true people are acting like they are making a big deal out of it but he basically fucked them over @doikiterru
@@doikiterru it’s not a boss’s job to keep jobs secure. It’s nice that they do, but it’s not on them so “endangering a company is bad but not awful”
I think overall firing him is good for the *potential* possibility he sleeps with someone else who decides to make it a problem for the company or he approaches someone who does not feel comfortable
But in this case he did not coerce anyone, it was adults who made a bad decision but there was no actual power dynamic that had influence on this specific situation
I understand power dynamics can be abused but they are not always (as in this case)
People who think it is a valid argument, it’s not
The fact that Saturday Night Live has one of Ned's Friends making skits for them as well is very telling because net is made out to be the good guy in this and I'm pretty sure they did more than kiss

Take one shot for every laugh
I’d be sober as hell
SNL making fun of extramarital affairs in a workplace with a subordinate like it's the 1950s...is cringe AF. Also, the popular news coverage of this is mostly due to the news channels themselves wanting clicks to stay relevant ...but sure make it about youtubers who never cared to contact CNN.
Aside from that, the fake laughs are cringe. 😐
What? They are making fun the shit show they tried to play in order to appear "righteous". And there is nothing wrong with making fun of them considering how all of absurd this was.
I fully agree, they had the only wrong take and were completely disrespectful of Ariel, The try guys and basically everyone. So dissapointed
@@shanewatson758 it's a bit hard to make out what your saying there cause the grammar is a bit off but are trying to say it's absurd what the try guys did? the sexual misconduct lawsuit waiting to happen that could put all their employees out of a job? the one they could also be personally libel for because they were aware and didn't take action? are we gonna make fun of a company for protecting the law and their own employee's for not sweeping under the rug the conduct of somebody at the top of the company? isn't this behavior we wish all companies had?
@@31codyskater well that shut him up real quick lmao
I don’t know what’s funnier… the skit or all these snowflake comments!! 😂😂
SNL is really going down hill……..
It’s literally never been good
so are western people's IQ's
How
They were never up the hill to begin with
I laughed more at my dad's funeral
Mustve been a pretty funny funeral
was he a try guy drama queen too ?
Exactly and the background laughter is not even helping like what's funny?
@@unviewerrandom4792He died staring menacingly into the camera like Bowen Yang.😂
fuck cheating, this guy abused his power in a company. This guy should have faced charges.
every guy in the comments saying "love it!!' and being way too excited about some failed boomer skit is literally the definition of "tell me you're a cheater without telling me you're a cheater"
what is there to love? they are literally tone deaf all the way through. embarrassed for them
No,love is a strong word but it's funny for several reasons. Ego represents the everyman, the 95,% of us who were in shock and disbelief"Who are these guys? A dude cheated on his wife and they are releasing manifestos and long explanations to something few people give a shit about? How the hell is this newsworthy in any way?"
It was all about too dramatic and hystericsl in the way only a 20 year old girl could relate to...and Brendan Gleeson who has no idea who they are irl at 67,him being so up to speed and actually saying the words "Lets not forget, the side chick was also a Food baby." Is just extremely funny. If you love these guys,it seems that love came with the removal of a sense of humor. When your peabrain makes the leap -,person laughs at sketch MEAN person is cheater, its stupidity you can't make up and tells me you're a bit too obsessed with these guys, your brain is rotting away to the point you can't understand all humor isn't Universal or that laughing at jokes doesn't make one a philanderer.
I give you a minor pass since you're 18 but its time to grow the fuck up.
"Everyone who laughs at this is unfaithful" is a hell of a take.
@@OrbisAetherum siding with the guy who cheated on his wife of two kids is also a hell of a take💀 didn't stop SNL tho
and yet... the world (the entire world) moves on... ! we have bigger fish to fry than one guy cheating

@@HelloItsMikkan Another statement to prove your powers of deduction are a shambles! you must be a flatearther! 🤣🤣
snl has said that, many times. it's an absurd statement.
Whoa slow your roll kiddo.
I LIKE HOW NED'S FRIEND WROTE THE SKIT AS IF NED DIDN'T CHEAT ON HIS WIFE, HAD A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIS EMPLOYEE, AND ENDANGERED THE COMPANY FOR POSSIBLE LAWSUITS. GOOD JOB, YALE FRIEND OF NED!
Online views matter; work place violation matters. Snl think they are better than other companies/brands 🙄
This is actually embarrassing
yeah, this is a sad attempt from the writing team... Ned abused his power, he abused his co-workers, and he abused his own family ffs. The fact that this skit is brushing this over and making it a joke makes SNL look bad and petty, gotta stay relevant though right. Sad, sad attempt. Yeah, this was out a year ago but this keeps being brought back up time and time again. The digital footprint of letting these shitty cheaters feel better and have what they did played down is not right. Keith, Zach, and Eugene had every right to be upset, hurt, and angry. They built a brand together and then Ned messed up pretty bad and put everyone's careers on the line. Cancel culture has been pretty strong these past few years and they could all have faced that because of Ned's choices.
Food baby. A way to not say his employee. Junior
So... Snl deleting comments now? What the hell. As if this would change how wrong this entire statement is. And yeah, comedy can be a statement. Film Theory video about this "skit" is on point.
It’s not consensual to the one getting cheated on u hosers
I can’t believe a friend of Ned helped write this skit. Vile.
They defend the guy who cheated on his wife? Not a fan SNL, especially having an old Yale friend Ned write the script. Wish I could see the number of dislikes on this video.
This is not good.
No,it is not. It's great.
It's a mixed view.
@Ciguaphyria X no. On full volume. It’s amazing.
Fk the try guys.
A year later and it's still hilarious.🤣🤣🤣
72K views and 652 likes is so telling LOL
crazy how they downplay this as 'side chick' when he cheated on his wife and had kids too
Damn I feel like they briefly looked over the situation and wrote the script
Disappointed tbh
After watching the video my favorite part is when the video ends
Yech. A Yaley friend of Ned’s wrote this and made it out to be an over-reaction. Pretty tone deaf and subservient of SNL to defend a “bro” through the work.
For those of you who defend Ned with "it was consentual", if he had r@ped someone he would be in prison. What he did do was have a year long sexual relationship with one of his employees, loosing his position in the company and said company handling that situation by making a statement about how seriously they were taking the situation should not be seen as dramatic.
Correction, not every rapist gets convicted. Easier to convict a vandal.
I mean yeah. A boss can say their relationship with an employee was “consensual” all they want but the power imbalance is huge in those relationships. It’s why it’s not allowed in a work place. Says a lot about SNL tho since they think to seem it’s okay.
But he didn't rape someone. This sketch was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
Ah yes “the heinous act of a consensual kiss with someone else”, he had a wife. He cheated on her, doesn’t matter if it was “consensual”. It’s still cheating.
Wow, this video makes me hate SNL. Who would participate in this and call it funny..
👋 Right here, chief. 🤣
Well this did not work , Did it? 🤣
I laughed all three times I watched it. 🤣🤣🤣
Oh yeah just a kiss having a relationship with your employee
Wow this was so disappointing. I am very disgusted.
Firing execs for infedelity is normal
Why is the audience laughting?
Sheeple gonna sheep
The audience probably didn't even know who the try guys were either 🙄
Cause it's funny. 🤣🤣🤣
SNL died and this is the eulogy
I don't know if I should laugh at the jokes or cringe from the situation.
You aren't kidding SNL has gone down! 😮
i understand this is satire against how this story took over the internet when more important things were happening in the world. but it makes SNL look stupid to glorify a man that cheated on his wife who he publicly made his entire personality. not to mention a CEO of a company sleeping with a lower tier producer, the power dynamic is still inappropriate. consensual or not.
How many years has it been since SNL was funny?
Wow, even if it's the wrong take they could have at least made it funny. The laugh track was necessary of the silence would have been suffocating. Like, ok yeah make light of workplace SA, jeopardizing livelihoods and crushing your wifes heart and trust sure you're a dying comedy show what should we expect. But making fun of the people who lost millions of dollars in ad revenue, worked 80 hour work weeks to ensure job security for their employees and had to completely rebuild their brand while being gentle and conscious of the parasocial relationship with their fans are is just weird.
Looking back at this again after 1.5 years, this video is a joke

“How dumb do you want this to be?”
“Comedy” Central Asia: “yes”
It was a months long affair at minimum. They did more than kiss. Ned’s only admitting to that because he couldn’t dispute the photo. He thinks everyone is stupid enough to believe his BS
even ignoring how terribly this portrays the situation this is just sad for snl its not funny at all hopefully they vet writers
Nah cuz they thought they ate
ya men holding each other is SO funny love the video!
that was sarcasm like what the actual fuck is this skit
It's hilarious. 🤣
I hate to say it but looking back on it now this skit is hilarious idc 😭
Is that an Irish Whitehouse correspondent? 😆 and he knows about the TryGuys
I'm pretty sure this character is based on Donie (spelling), an Irish journalist that works at CNN! I could be wrong...but I think so..
Wow more proof that SNL has been in a massive decline for good writing. Like even not being someone who knows much about try guys at all this whole sketch feels like a huge stretch to make something funny that really has no way of being funny. Seems more like SNL being mad that a video about an issue got more views than some of their garbage bits.
wow this is so amazing!!!
god i love being sarcastic here, but the fact it was made by one of Ned's friends isnt shocking ngl
I gotta buy that writer a drink. This was hilarious. 🤣😆
Seeingg that this cost the try guys opportunities SNL really is that bad
Not even into picking sides... simply wasn't funny
I wish this was funny
This is so wrong. Like... it's bad enough that you almost destroy your friends' careers by being stupid and cheating on your wife, but to get your friend who works on SNL to write this skit and make your friends look bad is just... urgh. It's such a dick move. It's about much more than him cheating on his wife with an employee, his behavior could have ruined the entire brand, fucking with his friends' income.
This was the first SNL skit I laughed hard on, in years
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought it was hilarious. 🤣🤣🤣
That's stupid
@@3lttlbrds stupid kits and unfunny cast. Its not like the cast of the past. Best era for me was early 90s. Best cast ever
This is sad, the fact that they find this funny, like actually?
They not only wrote this, played it out, and had multiple editing done to it, rewatched it and still thought this was funny? And like I understand one of Ned's friends is a writer for SNL but like the people that played in this skit, TF? I would not have accepted this script, like you guys seriously thought this was okay?
I hope you guys delete this video and make a sincere apology, not just that... revise on your morals and on the staff you guys have there.
UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED!
Meh, this wasn't funny
Disgusting skit

With this sketch, actually funny for a change. 🤣
I think the only funny thing about this sketch is the fact that the actor playing Eugene looks nothing like Eugene. -
As a try guys fan....I got mixed emotions. ....this is so funny but then its just sad how people keep making fun of them
I agree
I understand that but script had me feeling humorless……The only reason it’s not funny to me is because Ned put the brand and his employees in jeopardy of going bankrupt, his whole personality is based off him being married with children, yet he openly embarrassed his wife with hooking up with someone they both worked with…he didn’t even try to hide the hookup….
If they would’ve talked about how single handedly destroyed a company I most likely would’ve laughed or how he put a ho before his bros…..or how SNL is still trying to stay relevant…

Is it super funny saying "omg who are those guys?"? hahaha so funny.... Even ignoring that they're trying to make someone cheating to her wife with an employee while trying to pretend he is the perfect husband is a big deal between friends how is it funny that the host is trying to dismiss the whole thing because they are a RUclips channel? What is funny about that?
tsk. SNL, you were into all of those "progressive" sketches, and then you make this? you should be ashamed.
Excruciating watch
I was with Laura on this sketch 😅😂
they build a brand together with their Faces&personalities as the faces of brand. He suppose to be the guy who love his wife so much. He talk about her all the time. If he " cheat" doesn't matter if it's a fling or not and they swept it under the rug the brand will suffer.
People (their income) will start to lose trust in them. the company, the employees will suffer. This skit is stupid.
This is so real lmfao.
Ngl I wouldn’t be mad if the people who wrote this skit went out to pelear and never came back, I’m not even a fan of the try guys but it’s just not funny and making an SNL skit on internet drama so irrelevant is just-
Oh boy. This was bad.
Nah that was actually really funny😂😂😂
This skit is so lazy.
SNL is going downhill. Try Guys is just a small niche in RUclips. For it to make it's way to SNL where majorit wouldn't give a f about try guys speaks volume how Ned is so petty to ask his friend mock the Try Guys!
These 3 guys are everything that's wrong with the world. Two grown adults were sleeping together. It's not a federal crime ffs. These 3 idiots need to stop crying and acting like their the victims
Im not defending ned bcs its actually disgusting that he would cheat on his wife after going through pregnancy "challenges" (the vids they do abt women struggles and stuff even tho its just 5% of what ariel actually goes through)like yes, disrespected the hell out her by cheating. But i also think its blown out of proportion which could be tge message of this skit. Commenting on him cheating is also commenting on Ariel. How embarassed she must feel, how something heartbreaking to her is so publicised even if its in support of her but its just not right. Cheating is never okay but exploding it and investing so much into a personal problem of REAL people feels so invading. From the start i never got why it was such a huge deal. Ok fire him and stuff but the explanation vid from the try guys was unnecessary imo. It shouldve been dealt privately. It honestly overshadows more important things during the time (even now) there was the Iran issue with the hijab there were mass genocides happening and everyone was more worried over a white guy being unfaithful like cmon they dont need ur attention or "help" real world problems do. Let Ned be shamed and shuned for life and start focusing on what actually matters and blow that out of proportion.
When the whole ned thing happened it was everywhere and all posts of Jhina Amini was just overshadowed which is sad. It made me more sad than the scandal. Why are we investing so much time on someone else personal problem when theres a human rights issue wildly ignored? Why is the death of someone more trivial than plain adultery?
Im sorry if this was a keyboard warrior type shit but im genuinely upset and this is how im interpreting this skit (although done in bad taste i must say)
Interupting cnn news for a cheating scandal. Its news. More important things need to be announced why are we sparing even a second on what doesnt affect us at all?
Also i just found this skit and wanted to spill my mind abt it bcs i never got to rant abt it before lol i was tryna ignore the situation and focus on spreading more important stuff
i understand what you’re saying but it makes sense for them to make a video. they’re public figures (not for everyone) so it makes sense to address the “drama” as a content creator
It was meant for their subscribers
😅😅😅😅
Lol, even if im not a huge try guys fan, I find the skit super cringe.
