I felt so disgusted with how hideki's parents forced him to sign those papers NOT GIVING A DAMN ABOUT THEIR OTHER SON. I've no words on this. and what misunderstanding? I failed to see anything from the outcome.
From what I understand, he was the only person whose heart could be given to the brother at the time but they had a donor for the mc. Problem was it was a high risk surgery. And after mc got healthy he simply never talked to them again
@@locusxe1411 he thought they valued their other son more so chose to leave. I don't blame him it's not like it seemed like they valued him with all the pressure to save his brother
This is a tragic reason that not many parents would want to accept the fact why kids don’t want to make contact
The story is stupid they take him out of the family registry that's say8ng he is dead!!!!
@@TheresaHall-vl1bmmaybe coz they are? all i know is heart surgery is dangerous and it can killed both sons....despite this they still do it ? Yeah his just a spare part for their fav son
No hospital would approve such a ridiculous operation but what happens next is worthy of Captain America. Not only is a teenager able to recover within a matter of days from having his heart replaced but is physically capable of escaping the hospital and running to a place of safety but has the contacts to not only hide him but put him in touch with the Yakuza who are apparently willing to not only pay for his living expenses but education. Uh yeah Yakuza are always that generous to teenagers who haven't even graduated high school but then again he is apparently a superhuman. Why they didn't recruit him as a member ...
Are you kidding me, if they truly cared about the older brother then why did they never look for him, and they left something’s out, like how was it a misunderstanding about what they did?
Exactly, like saying to give your heart to your sibling and then not telling you that you'll be getting a new heart too and wont die, is just shitty.
He carried that hatred for 10 years only to learn that they didn’t plan to leave him to die.
Yeah cheap ending. He bought the whole misunderstanding garbage. If they truly cared why didn't they explain things to him before forcing him to sign? They probably just felt guilty and wanted to clear their conscience cause the fact remains he was removed from the family registery by them which means the officially severed ties with him after the surgery. That ain't what loving parents would do. He should have just done the surgery to show he's the better doctor and left without contacting them again
I honestly blame the doctor and their parents for not explaining it all to them but I'm glad that Hideki and Takumi were able to meet again and makeup and started working together at Mr Moroboshi's hospital.☺️
Yeah, isn't that a breach in the rules as you supposed to explain what will happen first?
It's also very unbelievable ! Why would a heart that matches the older brother NOT MATCH the younger brother? And as pointed out, why would his parents NOT TELL HIM THERE WAS ANOTHER HEART FOR HIM???
This whole story is trash! And I usually like the stories!
@@Sparky0627it might be due to a genetic factor for the younger brother because and this is just me making a theory they needed a heart extremely and i mean extremely compatible with his body and his older brother had the one needed but for the older brother he likely doesn't have the same problem making finding a heart for him much easier but just take this with a grain of salt
This is My Sister’s Keeper
Most parents should never do this to their kids only because they’re family
There’s a tragic reason why kids that are grown up have to cut ties because what’s the point on staying here with them when they don’t care about the kids feelings?
If they had a match for the brother that didnt need a tranchplant and trancplanted his heart into the one who needed it.. How come his heart was a match but not the other. Just because they are siblings dont mean they automaticaly are a match. The chance of rejection became double because two ppl had heart trancplants rather than one.
Because whoever wrote this didn’t think about it
it might be
they were looking foud a heart. but not enough time. during the op they found the one they needed and gave it to mc.
a huge stretch i know. but eh
It's fake medicine, that's why it works illogically
possibly shot in the dark here
Size could of been a factor
bruh they FORCED him to sign the papers...and no cops interfered? no doctors??? WHAT IS THE MISUNDERSTANDING HERE!!?!?!?
asia..
6:26 a black doctor using techniques that are not approved by the country, reminds me of Black Jack, the mercenary unregistered doctor who is the best in the field but charges insane fees…
I think not many know who Black Jack is. He is from an old series after all. His cameo in Records of Ragnarok surprised me.
I used to read those when I was younger. He even has a "wife" who helps him.
@@dumazroy3462 "If you're good at something never do it for free" comes into mind
@@dennisvicarth6823 Nice Joker reference from the “Dark Knight”.
I’ve actually been lucky to have seen the anime. It’s actually pretty good. He’s the only doctor that cures the contagious phoenix disease. You can see it on Tubi.
A-hole parents: We'll make good use to your heart, son. Also, we're heartless parents, son, but thx for saving your brother for us!
The return of Truck-kun
1:59 are you guys okay?
Lady, they're both unconscious on the floor bleeding out and have terrible injuries. Does that answer your question?
I mean, she probably just said that to see if she could get a response, just in case they WERE conscious. Plus, it’s like a default panic dialogue. It’s the first thing you say when someone is hurt
@@not-so-obvious_autism777what’s them being conscious going to accomplish? They needed a hospital instantly. And idk about you but if I see someone get hit by a truck I’m not gonna ask are you ok because you’re automatically not ok. And usually the default is call the ambulance then ask that question
@@locusxe1411 idk I was just saying it’s a reasonable thing to ask when you’re panicking, because you don’t do reasonable things when you’re panicking lmao
It was reasonable that she was unreasonable basically
You’re also right
If there is an accident and that person is bleeding you first call an ambulance and ask them whether they are conscious or not. If they are, ask them to hold on and be conscious. The patient being conscious can give various information such as their level of injury is low as they are able to stay awake and may be able to have a conversation. The doctor can then ask for where the pain is coming from giving them information about where the injury is and how severe it is. If the patient was not awake the doctor would have to search for bruises which can lead to loss of precious time. Hope this helps 🙂
im sorry fuck that, the parents didn't talk to him about shit before having him sign it. amazing how most of these can be avoided if parents just did their job and spoke to their kids lmao
I fully admit that I'm not a cardiovascular surgeon, but I very much do not understand how the older brother's heart would be a match for his younger brother, but not the other heart, since THAT heart matched the older brother.
Shot in the fake here but
could it be that the size difference could of been an issue.
Sometimes it's unforgivable that somebody's incidents and the people that are responsible for unforgivable incidents are sometimes head responsible and sometimes not held responsible I hope the boys are going to be okay
theres worse in reality, my sisters keeper is a true story about a family who had a baby just to treat there other kids leukaemia
Okay... Why not give Takumi the artificial heart?
Because the author was too eager to write a 1 dimensional story
When the little brother cried out to him, can't just he say "get the f*ck off me" or "aren't you a doctor? Get your sh*t together" or something? Geez
The parents were in a rush to save both boys. The older brother was a match for his brother, but the hospital had an alternative surgery for the older brother? He woke up and left the hospital. 😕
Aren’t there ethical laws that say doctors can’t perform operations on family members?
First off this is fiction. Secondly this is Japan, thirdly I don’t think they care when they’re in a situation where multiple passengers are injured and they’re the only doctors around. And in japan it’s not an ethical law for that btw
you should look at my sister's keeper.
@@simoneesposito5574
At the end of the movie, did the sister cut off ties with the so called parents after her sister died?
I hope she did so that way parents must know what happens if they don’t treat their kids equal
@@locusxe1411your comment is also mostly fiction. Of course they care and of course they have ethical laws.
@@tingle2330he didn’t say they don’t have ethical laws in japan he just said that specific law doesn’t exist in japan
Was supposed to be heartwarming but the organ transplant bullshit ruined it. "The younger son is more important so you, the older one, who is totally fine, will need to give up your heart. We'll try to save you later, there must be a dead body here with a heart that you could use."
This episode definitely needed a full 30-40 minutes to explain the full scenario. I know for sure it would have been serial episode worthy.
Either way the M.M.P. team is as excellent as ever!
Heart transplantation has a high early mortality-15-20% of recipients die within a year of the operation. Thereafter the death rate is constant, at about 4% a year for the next 18 years, so that 50% of patients can expect to be alive after 10 years and 15% after 20 years. So there a possibility both would die before age 50. Just because they took they older son heart away from him. They doom him too...
Favoritism is a killer, literally and metaphorically.
Nothing hurts like a misunderstanding, and nothing says healing like the clearing of a misunderstanding!
Thus, both Hideki and Takumi continued work at the Moroboshi General Hospital, helping many people who were sick or getting injured, a few years later, they opened up a foundation called Sakamoto Medical Charity Foundation, which supports many people who are ill or injured and doesn't have money for treatment, Moroboshi is one of the sponsors for the foundation and said "I believe that the Sakamoto foundation will help many people who are struggling to find a doctor for their health and don't have money for any treatment, and the Sakamoto Brothers did an excellent job helping people without any money nor an award, Their foundation will help people all over the world and beyond ".
To tell you the truth I will still leave They want me to give up my heart to just get a new one to just die at 50% chance I will just leave and said good bye to them you can call me hearth less if you want I do not care
I'm wondering if the storyboarder knows how heart transplants or any organ transplant works. If the brothers were a match for eachother and then theres a match for the older. Just use the heart that matched for the older. I get its for story purposes but theres a unneeded and quite frankly unnecessary surgery.
How would that help? I mean it wouldn't solve the issue behind why they needed to give the younger brother a heart transplant. it would just transfer the same issue to the older brother abd they'd be back to square one.
@@MoriHolt-lf4br so basically the heart they gave the older brother who was a match for the younger, would have been a match for the younger as well. This means they wasted time and did what their not supposed to. That would be take a heart from the healthier brother who was gonna make a full recovery. In real life a donar is selected from individuals who aren't gonna survive whatever their ordeal is. The only exceptions being those who don't match or have passed from highly contagious disease/illness. As cruel as it sounds in real life the hospital would have to prioritize the individual who is gonna survive but still look for a donar from a fresh cadaver for the younger brother.
3;45 give up his own life to save his brother? They're parents have no right to call themselves parents. And I would never sign such a paper.
Dude he should just cut ties with them. They force him to sign paperwork to give his heart to his brother.
I can understand Hideki hating his family. To him, it seemed like he was nothing more than a spare part for Takumi. Why couldn't they just explain like good, honest people? This is how villains are made!
AWW That's So Kind Of Him After All He Is Takami's Brother To
Me That's A BIG DEAL
This was a wholesome story. Hideki felt that he needed to be sacrificed to save Takumi because he was better than him. However, a serious event brought them back together and helped clear up some misunderstandings. I am glad that the family was able to reconcile and start working together.
but when they were at the airport you can clearly see Takumi was enjoying the attention
@@nathanvosburgh718Just because the younger brother felt proud of his achievements and enjoyed the attention of fame doesn't mean that he hates his brother or feels superior to him.
@@Green_Sand_HourGlass i meant the attention from his parents
@@nathanvosburgh718 Well, he was a kid at the time. Plus, he spent more time around their parents so he might have been more aware that they really did care about hideki than Hideki himself was. I do agree that the parents were wrong and that it was dumb to risk losing both of their sons in a gamble like that, but their options were bad and this was really just a case of hideki misunderstanding his family because his parents weren't thinking about how he saw his own situation.
Amazing story! I honstly felt bad for Hideki losing his heart since he and Takumi got into an accident. That truck driver needs to be arrested. I know it was a high risk for the brothers and their parents to get a heart transplant, but it was to save their lives. I honestly feel bad for Hideki, but I'm glad Takumi told him the truth about what actually happened. It's like his parents didn't want to betray Hideki just to save Takumi, they wanted to save them both. God damn it...so heart breaking.😭
Amazing? Heart breaking? How? Are you dumb on purpose? They literally said, "die to save your brother", they didn't say "you will get someone else's heart", they just said die to save your brother. And they never looked after him and never searched for him in those 10 years. Also, you can't run that easily after having a heart surgery. It means that none of his parents looked after him at that time. And he somehow says "it was my fault because I didn't understand, please forgive me" even though he was right? It's bullshit.
@@crankalaft No, I know that. I meant the truck accident and other stuff like Hideki's brother almost dying. I also didn't mean to say that it was amazing this story, it was HOW it was made. How I felt about watching it on the other hand, really bittersweet.
This is ridiculous. The parents only care for their own son but not the other son too?? What kind of parents they are???!!
4:25 Why were neither parents there to look after the protagonist's awakening?
Why after the surgery didn't the doctor explain things properly to the protagonist but seems to have voluntarily tried to tell things in a way that the protagonist could misunderstand?
Was it really sensible for parents to make their child sign that document to carry out the operation? Did the doctors really consider him capable of understanding and wanting at that moment? And if so, shouldn't they have adequately explained the risks of the operation anyway?
Also, how did a patient who had just received a heart transplant escape from the hospital without anyone stopping him?
Even allowing for poetic freedom, the disillusionment of reality and so on, it seems that there always remains a bit of "forcedness" at the basis of the entire story.
Certainly nothing that can really invalidate the entertainment of the story, just that they can be strange.
12:53 boy its not hard to explain! Could've just said my older brother
Sagewolf and Clara Payne are the VAs for today's story.
I think the female voice actor is Ciara Payne.
I always fail to realise that these type of parents only share 1 braincell
The worst ending, I'm expecting him to leave but no, He stay with his scumbag family
I like your drawing
1:16 "oh, Taku" nice wordplay there 😁
You could convince me this character was named that just for this one joke
That's a crime, man. You only give people heart transplants if they're already dead, not alive, this is murder 4:25
Let me just say that the opening was very much sad Then cutting to the grown up age thing before explaining the young brother illness thing feels saddening
I'll be honest I still don't get it: Brother 1 can't find a doner, but brother 2 can, his heart is given to brother 1, while brother 2 gains the donated heart. But if the brother 2's heart is compatible with Brother 1, why isn't the donated heart compatible with brother 1? This is SO COMPLICATED!
The only way that consent means anything is if the mc dies. A hospital cannot kill someone to take their organs
I am glad his brother tells him the about their hearts to save both of them and his brother didn't know about it after the operation he just left the hospital and his parents didn't tell about it after he left the hospital like that and he didn't even talk with them about it because he got mad and left the hospital and now years he became a doctor now and his past still rage on with his parents still and he didn't save his father but his brother tells him the truth and he saved his own father's life now that's amazing but kinda mess up about the air plane being crash like that and the weather is mess up out there but i am glad they try to save much people as they can 🤩😍😊🎉❤👍🏼💯👌🏼
Wow these parents are the worst
ok, fuck that. i get there wasn't time to properly explain everything. but fuck that.
4:31 thats the best doctor
This story is kind of a mess.
The ending half clearly needed a revision.

Wait, if the older brother matched his younger brother and he immediately got a heart that matched him, then that means they already had a heart that matched the younger brother and did unnecessary surgery on the older brother.
nice video, also first
(posted this 2 days ago). wait, didn't we have an episode like this 2 weeks ago?
yeah, this is WAY TOO MUCH like 2 weeks ago as i said before on this similar clip called "The class queen bee says she'll give me 1 million yen if we...". i don't buy it. just apologizing after everything you've done from stabbing someone in the damn with a pencil TO GOING ON A BROKEN OLD ASS BRIDGE THAT NEARLY GOT YOU AND YOUR OTHER CLASSMATES KILLED won't cut it in the real world! and it's even worse when THIS KID FORGIVES HER just like that? no.

Hi
I need to know what country will allow an otherwise healthy person to have themselves killed and their heart removed and given to someone else.
The story is wrong and it didn't answer the question about how they saved Hideki. Unless they repaired his brothers heart which is a waste for 2 surgeries.
Bro really come on the end is so stupid the big brother risk his own life to save his brother and they have a met again an b happy for me i would greet them an say goodbye an live my own life thats how it should have ended
is this a re-upload by any chance?
?
102.2, that is high.
Me seeing title: don't do it, send your brother to HELL xx)
This plot has more holes than Swiss cheese
And I had a 40 DEGREE ONE.
The parents were not that bad but they could have communicated to Hideki better about their plans. If he felt that way from the start, its because they give him any attention when he was younger.
bro i hate the outcome of this story
How did Hideki survive???
Really shows nobody bothered to watch the entire thing.
Because this was an idiotically dumb story! If the older brother's heart matched the younger brother, then the donor heart used WOULD MATCH the younger brother!!!
If A=B, & B=C, that means A=C!
They could have used the donor heart for the brother!
@@Sparky0627You’re pfp says it all
What.. M
Hideki, you left the hospital before the could explain the whole situation to you and believed what you wanted to believe for years.
He did research to see if he HAD to give his heart to his younger brother. If you know ANYTHING about transplants, the story doesn't make any sense! If the heart was okay for the MMC, it would have been fine for his younger brother!
So no, he didn't believe "what he wanted to believe for years!"
Yeah, sure he left without letting them explain right? Do you need to hear anything after hearing that absurd bullshit thing "give your life to save your brother, we don't care"? Also you can't become that healthy after having a heart transplant. You need at least weeks to regain some of your strength. And his parents never visited him during that time and it's "HIS" fault?
