i love watching these. mostly because i look at these and see that broadway life isn’t exactly glamorous as some people would say, but it’s just... cozy. you have your own dressing room, and you can hang your letters up, and wear your robe around, and you can warm up without anyone being weirded out. stuff like that. being able to keep a mug in your room, knowing exactly where your costumes are, beautiful wigs, an amazing space you can decorate with your own stuff, and just having that sense of calm before you have to go on. it seems amazing.
I relate so much with Jenna years of my life had gotten taken away from me. I hit bottom and was trapped that's when my first character was born. She saved my life. I started writing my first book when I was 15. That's when I made the choice to live and fight for my life and not give up.
Betsy Wolfe has been outstanding in every show in which I have seen her,, with "Waitress" being the most recent. One of her best performances was in the leading role in a beautiful musical called "The Toymaker" which she did in a reading at the Eugene O'Neill several summers ago, one of the best shows I have ever seen that didn't achieve the acclaim that it deserved. Even on book, Betsy was incredible in it.
this is beautiful... how we have moments where we are broken and when we are just really happy. but the freedom is to admit who we are as humans and present ourselves as who we are. it's beautiful.
Random question: it seems Waitress (as do a few other Broadway shows) uses over the ear mics as opposed to the more often seen forehead mics. Is that a style choice depending on the show or are there other factors that decide that?
Theresa this is a late response but the only reason I can think of is the romance scenes between Dr Pomatter and Jenna, they get quite hot and heavy and I can picture if one of them slipped, their mics may crash together if they were on foreheads
Emily Gutierrez If you don’t like her, why do you feel the need to watch every video she’s in and comment essentially the same thing on each one? Just get over it, some people like her interpretation and some people don’t - that’s going to happen every time there’s a replacement for any large role in theatre.
Emily Gutierrez That’s what happens when you make a public comment, especially a controversial one. People are going to offer their opinions - bear in mind that nobody asked for yours, either.
do you just search up Betsy videos to comment on how much you hate her?? Omg this is like the 9th comment I've seen of yours....so cringe please just stop you're embarassing yourself.

"my only job is to be truthful" YES BETSY TRUEEE 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
So cool- I thought she used her own hair for the show!
Brooke S most actresses wear wigs
saw this this weekend it was sooooo good
I think she has before
Kiersten Simpson yes, that’s why I was confused lol.
Brooke S sometimes she does!
Love her! Didn't know she wore a wig!
Character study + Betsy Wolfe=best video ever
Am I the only one who pauses these videos to see what makeup they use?
BrookeInProgress I do!!! And this goddess does her own individual lashes!! I can't even!!! Lololol
I have not watched this in a couple of weeks and coming back to it is making me smile.
I saw her as Jenna and she was phenomenal !
Betsy wolfe is so amazing! ❤️
holy shit, that iss one realistic wig.
That wig looks like her real hair
I loved this musical. What's great about Jenna's character is you don't feel bad for her per se, but empowered by her.
Thank you Paul Wontorek!!!!! Love!!!
These wigs... omg they'reso amazing
Her eyes are so pretty!!
I’m so glad this was made
I love Betsy Wolfe!!!

I think it also depends on the sound system
i've heard it also may depend on the wigs/hair, but I could be wrong
It depends on wigs hair styles sound systems.
Oh my god she is so gorgeous 😍
BLESS BETSY
Love this!
Amazing!!
I love these videos
YAYY I LOVE THIS
I saw waitress but with Sara barielles
my heart skips a bit literally every time i see her
Wait.. you do your own makeup for a Broadway show? I had no idea!!
Brooke Stop some people do depending on the show
KWEEEEEEN!!!!!
My name is JENNA .....
actual wife
I don’t kno why she didnt just dye her hair a bit darker instead of all that work with the wig?!
Brooke Stop helps the mic stay in place when it’s under a wig. It’s easier to style correctly when it’s a wig as well
PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ DOOOO ANASSTAIA
I wish this was Jessie instead
God I️ do not like Betsy Wolfe in this role at all. So SO not suited for Jenna #bringjessieback
