I’m an English Muslim proud to see another native Muslim Englishmen
SubhanAllah I have seen this brother abt 2 yrs ago on a Sunday at Speakers corner. I think it was July 2018, quietly engaging in a talk abt Islam. I walked past and I was gone for about an hour or so, I came back and he was still standing there and I made dua for him thinking I hope Allah keeps him on the straight path. I'm so so so happy to see this video.
Videos like this are a real blessing for me. I looked into Islam for a while before taking my shahada alone at home due to the pandemic. Since then I've been teaching myself to pray and reading a lot. I'm looking forward to going to mosque for the very first time and saying shahada properly inshallah.
Jorden's story reminds how Omar (RA) came into Islam by going after his sister to make her denounce islam. Masha Allah brother Jorden I love you and muslims for the sake of Allah.
Great episode, finally Jordan is on and his story is very inspiring even to an English lad like me
After watching this changed me the way I think I’m a born muslim half white never really followed islam this video made me break up with my haram relationship now I’m gonna gonna take one step at a time and come to islam
Seeing the brother's determination about the deen also creates a zeal in me to improve myself. May Allah bless the brother and grant him Jannat-ul-firdaws.
As a born Arab Muslim who lives in the west now, I see some brothers who are passionate but don't possess enough knowledge on how to approach new Muslims and try to push their culture on them as well. It annoys me to the core to make new Muslims to change their names or the way the dress. I agree with Jordan M. point, you need to give new Muslims enough time to process the change in their lives and don't rush them into quitting everything they used to do before. It's better to be a Muslim and sinner than a disbeliever altogether. balance and wisdom is the key
I like the brotherhood between the reverts of speaker corner.
Finally Jordan's revert story 😍
I can sense humbleness and sincerity was from his speech what an amazing soul. May Allah keep him steadfast.
I loved hearing his story! Alhamdullilah! He’s totally right about taking things slow after converting, the prophet s.a.w established tawheed for many years before any of the regulations were sent down. May Allah make it easy for him to stay firm upon the religion and seek knowledge & grant him jannah Ameen :)
That's very well said brother "...a flower doesn't grow in one day. The first most important thing is to take your shahada, and keeping on doing salah. Everything else will come along the way, insya Allah...". Jazakumullahu khair, wassalamu'alaikum brothers...
I love the EFdawah and Freshly grounded crossover
I remember when this brother became muslim subhan Allah. May Allah guide many through him and may Allah reward EFDawah for their hard work!
great video g’day from Australia as a revert who converted during Ramadan in 2018
SubhanAllah when Jordan 1st became Muslim, I thought Sam would be a perfect brother for Jordan to get to know to help him along the way, so I DMd sam and directed him towards speaking to Jordan (don't think he ever saw it lol). So Glad to see more than a year later that Faisal will put them both in touch alhamduLillah.
Only validation Muslims need is from Allah. You don't need an English man's validation. May Allah bless this brother and no disrespect to him. I just find some people on these forum are desperately in need validation by white people. Allah is top priority.
Thanks for sharing. I suddenly teared up when you mentioned that point you were driving and decided to take the shahadah... Something so relatable to those feelings of truth.
Finally they invited him. Alhamdulilah
