Best portal video and music video of Exile vilify I have ever seen I have to say it. Seeing both chell and doug make it out, and get what they both love really gives portal the happy ending I have been waiting for.
Wow, just wow. Credit to all the other videos, but this is by far my favourite. The ending of P2 had me welling up, and so did this video, with the little flower and Chell finding the sea and then the ̶c̶̶a̶̶e̶̶c cake. Totally beautiful. Great work.

*crying* to many feels, this was beautiful, I loved how the Ratman misses the cube, but he doesn't want to hurt Chell by taking it away, so he gives her a cake, and then Ratman and the cube sit on the beach and it's like the ratman is thinking "our work here is done, pal"
This is at once funny and strangely touching. So much of Portal has to do with humans etching personalities onto objects - and loneliness, which this video captures perfectly. Love it. Rattman

@Palatheio no... from the end of the comic, it's easy to speculate he died in the original relaxation room. however, if that's not proof enough for you, there's a music track entitled "Ratman's ghost" in portal 2 and you can hear crazy ramblings if you lean against the chell painting and listen closely, right before you get the single-portal gun.
I never thought about this until now, but considering GLaDOS has now let Chell free, and she has the robots for test, he could probably escape. There's also the fact that at one time he worked there, so he possibly knew where a way out was.

Actually, in the comic lab rat, he's shot in the leg by turrets and he is badly hurt (not killed). he then saves chell and goes into one of those sleep rooms (sorry, i forget what they are called) they never actually said if he is alive in portal 2 or how much time passed between the games
