There are around 20 banana varities in the Philippines and we only export 1 variety to South Korea which is the Cavendish. Although you can find that Saba banana too in Filipino weekend markets in Seoul. They are good for cooking. Boil it like yams or fry them like tempuras and coat with sugar.

That banana you are eating are supposed to be cook first, either boil with skin intact or fry it. It's called Saba.
Its better to eat raw because it has lot of nuttients (potassium)than cooked…
@@Ronchard-g7t , green uncooked Saba bananas contain lots of starch which when eaten, does not breakdown easily inside the stomach which then causes constipation. Ripe & cooked Saba bananas has the opposite result.
