Hey Lauryn ..quick question..which product are u using .. .free the roots or house of isis ... Like are you recommending both companies and their products or did you switch from one to the other ?..... Because of you I'm using free the roots products for my locs but I see you are also using house of isis
I used to do tea rinses/sprays, but I noticed this was causing some buildup. Now I make my own distilled herbal spray. No buildup and it still contains essential oils. It's a little bit of a process, but I end up with a final product that last for months depending on how much I make (I sterilize my bottles and keep them refrigerated, though they can last weeks out of the fridge if the bottles are sterilized). Plus is smells really nice. Fresh or dried: rosemary, lavender, rose, stinging nettle, black tea, sage, peppermint (sometimes). After the final product cools, I bottle it and add organic aloe vera gel. This is the only product I use besides a clarifying shampoo. No dryness issues (in my climate) and no more scalp issues.
Her long locs make me want to go to the loctition, im mad impatient. But shes very inspiring to go natural or atleast semi freeform. I two strand twist my hair now i just gotta wait two months
Your hair is sooo long now!!! 😍😍🥲 It just made me so happy to see!!! 😂 I've been watching you since your beautiful curls pre locs. You're doing such a great job taking care of your crown! Blessings Queen! 🫶🏿🌻💙
I know people with locs use Herbal rinses as a conditioner substitute (because it has a more water like consistency). I just don't personally trust any creams, butters, or pomades no matter how natural they. Seems you use it sparingly as you only do it twice a year. Heard Nimanaturals has some good herbal rinses if you want to check that out.
I've got 10 wicks on the top of a high top fade, and I'm wondering how they would start to look if I braided my loose hair into wicks instead of crocheting them?
Aloha! I'm 3.5 years loc'd .. I started watching your videos and I've been semifree formed for almost a year and I love it! Do you still use Free the Roots products?

Thanks for the recipe. This sounds amazing 🙌🏾
I boil cinnamon sticks into a spray bottle. When cooled over I'll drop ice cubes and sprits my hair throughout the day
Ohh thanks so much for sharing!

Because the wicks are probably really thick, the braiding technique may not be the best for you, I would say the results may vary
Perfection! ❤
Thank you!!
Awesome video! Have you ever tried tea on your locs?
Thanks! And no I havent. What type of tea tell me more lol
Do you still use free The Roots Products? Which out of the two do you prefer
I do. I actually prefer HOI now because they have more variety of products
