Fr like i mean i wont lie i cant wait but dam i hope they take all the time they need to give us the perfect sandbox rpg type game and honestly if the magic system is good and if we can tame dragons i’ll love the game 100% anyway
My biggest fear is this game being released on a weekday without prior announcement. Because I won't be able to stop myself of running home from work at that exact second I hear the news, tackling everyone I see in the process.
Considering how painful at times it has become to work with Minecraft, i‘m really putting hope in this game for good modding support. I just wish there was more communication and info, as well as an extended beta phase for creators to test out their tools and provide feedback before full launch. I just want a good block game platform to unleash my creativity, not have a Minecraft 2 wich is a hassle to work with in its own way.
The problem with the delays and strive for perfection, together with the lack of infos is that player expectations will be extremely high because „the game will be the perfectestest game ever“ while the fantasy runs wild with what the game might all offer
The main issue I have with Minecraft is its complexity. Especially for the mobile version, you can’t just open Minecraft and play it. You have to launch it, log in then select the version to what edition you want to play on then wait for it to load, and then go into a world wait again, then wait for the lag to stop, and then you can play. Sometimes you have to relog in to Microsoft making it a pain especially for mobile players. The lag generated from needing to use a web browser within MCPE too is annoying and causes unnecessary delay. Can’t just open it and click play and make a world like the old days.
I've been following Hytale news for years now, and it's great to see all the way the devs went through working on it, but I would prefer focusing on something that actually can be played right now, like Minecraft or VS. And if Hytale does come out at some point, then give it a try. If it will be another No Man's Sky release story, at least there won't be any hard feelings about it.
I'm with you on the No Man's Sky thing. As weird as it sounds, this could potentially become a new form of PR where there's nothing shown and they keep working on it until it's done. As much as I would like to have something to play with now, I feel like one might give the audience too much info during production and then they finally get the end product and they're already burnt out. Not saying that's exactly what happens but it's possible. Not the greatest example of development time, but League of Legends itself took four, nearly five, years to develop.
no man's sky and cyberpunk 2077s' launches were disastrous and shouldn't be repeated. it's for the best that we keep our expectations neatly low and just wait until it comes out. i understand this is the generation of instant gratification, so i know how much people want to play this and get their answer. however, the best things come when they're ready, like a nicely baked cake
I've been waiting patiently for Hytale's beta since 2018 and I've just recently found your channel through your video on Vintage Story. So far I'm really enjoying your content, pls keep up your work man👍
Do you seriously believe in the crap ur sayin? Its nice to see that there have just been ppl making videos that are hyping the game up a bit again, the absolutely massive blogpost (1 year of development) they have been teasing that will come out sometime this month or early december. If the blog post has anything about a release, or just a percentage of how far they are until its done, it will see riot start to massively advertising it so everyone will know :)

I assume that Hytale will be a more combat/PvE focused game compared to Minecraft, so I also don't see it replacing mc. It just won't be able to pull the tech community. Also those who like a bigger challenge will probably prefer Vintage Story. (Throwing a bit of shade,) if Hypixel Skyblock is anything to use as a metric, progression might also end up being questionable. Also I'm surprised they're not getting the "minecraft modders do it faster" talk yet, though it will probably start if they also start doing yearly updates after the initial release.
I disagree, it’s been made very clear that both creative play is just as important as adventure, so I don’t think it’ll be more combat/pve, and it’ll definitely bring the tech community because of the built in modded support.
@@SparkySharkywith how datapacks keep getting better and better, the quality of modding support for Hytale would also need to get better and better to compete. Well, they had external playtest, which shows the game is already completed enough to be shown, also an ex programmer that worked on Hytale in 2018, said that the game was already good back then, the only expectations i have is to finally cosplay and play a class freely, so not much, but saying the game is still that far away is incorrect. They even started talking about the beta, again not much but it shows that the game is decently complete.

But I am worried that because of all the ideas of what I wanted the game to be aren’t going to be in the game and I won’t be able to enjoy it because of that. If it wasn’t for all the hytale content that I watched, maybe I would have more reasonable expectations for the game. I will never follow a video game in this much detail ever again. Don’t follow a games every move. Wait till it comes out and then enjoy it. I thought this game was coming out in 2020. If you think that the game is coming out soon, get ready to be disappointed.
