Y’all and the team really out did yourself with the story telling on this one!! 💕🔥🔥 and this takes the Dora inspiration to another level with the music!! Love it so much!
What I really love about this song is the irony of the term "Sacrificial Lamb". In the beginning, Wooly warns Riley about creating a "sacrificial lamb." You'd think Wooly would be the sacrifice, given a sheep and lamb are similar enough. Throughout the song, you expect Wooly to just die or something. In the ending however... You learned it. Wooly wasn't the sacrificial lamb. YOU were. Irony is so stunning, and RecD really knows how to use it properly. At least we learned it. RecD is goated.
For anyone wondering why wooly uses a magnet to stop amanda ( 1:06, 1:48) is because it can be used to erase footage from the tape. Since VHS uses an iron oxide as its formula, this makes them very susceptible to magnetic damage. A tape that has been exposed to magnetic damage is nearly always irreparable (not able to repair)
There's something really charming about the stageplay musical approach ReCD takes to his songs. They way the "We learned it!" line develops over the song throughout Amanda's outburst and eventually calming down is really neat. Also love how Amanda's characterized in general, just a confused and emotional child who's prone to tantrums but has too much power, and feels bad afterwards. She really did just want to make a new friend, but Wooly is trying his best to keep things in check.
2:10 I LOVE the effect here, the fact that Amanda noticed the attic door turning white, and realizing that she caught another “mouse” (the player) then she proceeded to feel guilty for her actions. Such a great scene!
@@brentleybergonia6341Amanda didn’t kill the player(because when it refers toa cat catching another mouse *it never wanted to* So that means Riley, (better know as the player) is a victim as much as Amanda is. At the end, Amanda says ‘being bound just like me.’ Hope this is understandable- 🙃
Dunno if she noticed the attic door turning white moreso that she noticed the screen flash gold like when she pointed at the cat and the chicken. Edit: She also points at Wooly, but ig she didn't hold on long enough or something because he didn't die (at first)
I love how you chose the least common ending (the one where you become meat in the butcher’s shop) to base this song on. People typically use basically every other ending, but you stand out for this decision.
@@AnimatedEpic-sh7pr well everyone gets the same endings in pretty much the same order, but the meat ending is not usually used in stuff like music and fan content lol
"the kitten caught another mouse it never wanted to....." That line sent chills down my spine. Amazing job on the song love how it gets more realistic each tape!😃👍
@@Arjuniyer09 The weeping kitten (here 1:35 ) is meant to symbolize Amanda, so when she says “The kitten caught another mouse it never wanted to.” (here 2:13) She means she accidentally killed another person. (In one of the game’s endings she turns into a monster and kills you, completely being out of her control)

@gabby-rs9pn and @dingo_dominator , your both right! Sam did help rebecca when adopting her and loved her truly. However, Sam is the reason Rebecca took part in the show. The company behind the show ( Hamlen) turned rebecca into Amanda.
I see a lot of people mentioning how the animation gets more realistic after every set of verses, but nobody mentioning how the music during the show slowly gets less happy and cheery and more unsettlingly muted until Amanda asks you to help the kitten, breaking the facade of both the kids interactive cartoon and of the happy music.
@@abox1942i don’t believe amanda is evil based on the line the kittens caught another mouse it never wanted to but wooly has to warn the player bc Amanda is used as a vessel for an evil whatever it is

This is perfect. You really researched the source material when you made this - from the details of Amanda not wanting this any more than you do, the twist of "sacrificial lamb" from Wooly to the viewer, the fact that every section is based on one of the actual in-game tapes, the ending choice... 10/10.
Fun fact in the glitches you can see that there's a website code I doing what I can to find in this little side quest, but once I figure out what the site means I will say something
@@elfra Since Amanda "identifies" as the kitten, she says how she basically "killed" you (when you end up at the butcher's as meat) and because meat rots, you rot too (in the game, she says "things can rot if they are no longer alive anymore") which means she killed you. But she never wanted to kill you cause she's just like you, but she can't control it (The line "it's out of my control") So she basically killed you without wanting it "The *kitten* (her) caught another *mouse* (the player) it never wanted to".

1:12 is probably my favorite part of the video, it’s executed so well and I love the line “please stop before someone becomes a sacrificial lamb” for reasons I can’t explain
It's my favorite, too! I think it's a mixture of the cat metaphor with "It's not just curiosity that gets the kitten maimed" plus the fact that the art in this section looks the most like it does in the game.
Wow this song is amazing! You guys did great! An interesting detail I noticed was at 0:32 and 1:13, the melody sounds like Swiper the Fox’s theme. Did anyone else catch that? As a Dora fan this detail is super cool to me.
Not important but fist Saw i TROUGTH the Fox you are speaking of was the dead Fox in Amanda but i searched and found out that swiper Fox Its raposo Haha i dint know that in english he was called like This
i love how neither wooly or amanda are framed as evil, and you're lead to believe wooly would be the sacrificial lamb, but of course, that doesn't happen... the way wooly's verses are more somber and a complete change from amanda's jolly verses is amazing also the sheer CHANGE in tone and artstyle in the second part threw me through a loop, the fact the instrumental, vocals, and even the way amanda speaks changes is _chilling_ and then at the end, both of them have to tell the sorry truth to you... that you were the *_Sacrificial Lamb_* all along... i love all of this
THAT WAS SO GOOD!!!! I think this has to be my fav video you’ve ever done. Brilliantly written with seamless references to the source material. Absolutely awesome
I like how even though wooly is the main messenger in this video, Amanda isn’t really considered to be evil in this. Edit: Y’all did you see the sticker for Amanda’s demon form on the tv box?
@@randomsomthing1237 you are not the only person to say that fact it was probably someone who already said that even before you so don’t try and copyright claim other comments
Underrated lines: 0:47 - 0:50 I LOVE the deliverly of the second “you found it”, as well as wooly stepping out of the TV, idk why. I just love the emotion 1:12 - 1:19- again, the EMOTION. Loving the voice acting work here! I also really enjoy the slight foreshadowing to later in the song. 1:32-1:41: Very clever and in-depth interpretation of the game’s lore. Perfectly presented what the metaphors in the farm tape meant! 2:07 - 2:21 The EMOTION WORK ON THE VA HERE IS INSANE. With the artstyle, it really conveys the pure DESPAIR that Amanda goes through.
Perfect way to explain this! I’m currently making the most lore theories as I can about this game which I played 3 times in a row but I still don’t understand the butcher ending…
@@jules_twa A lot of people may think that Wooly is the sacrificial lamb since everybody thinks that he dies in the end and he's used for mental abuse. But in reality, he doesn't try to stop us so he doesn't die, he's trying to stop us so WE don't die (end up at the butchers'). But since Amanda "identifies" as the lonely kitten, the line "the kitten caught another mouse it never wanted to", basically tells us that she doesn't want us to die but she can't control it. Therefore, WE are the sacrificial lamb.
It kinda seems like the reverse is happening in the "interlude" sections, where Wooly's trying to warn the player away. It started out "realistic" then got toonier and toonier.

I think doing a song on the other endings for the Amanda game would be interesting, that way we can learn more about the lore and see Amanda’s perspective in the videos.
As everyone knows the art style changes the more serious it gets but so does woolys interactions with holes in the static from where his arms are then in front of the pause and then inside the frame of the tv at the end
To elaborate he isn't apart of this word as he reaches 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 then he can just reach out then his lower half is his by the static then the final time he is hanging 𝙤𝙣 the screen
Also this is the time stamps to make it easier to compare 0:32 0:48 1:12 1:48 Also when he says "you've opened up Pandora's box" in the sub titles it says "you've opened up PanDora's box"
This was way more emotional than I expected it to be. That's super good, though. It fits knowing what the characters go through. The twist at the end with the viewer being the Sacrificial Lamb was a bit painful to the heart, and that hurt more hearing Amanda say "Bound... like me...". All in all, a lovely ATA song and emotionay painful. Well done.
I'm really surprised about this song! At first I thought the sacrificial lamb would be like wooly's death in the demo. Also, alot of the amanda the adventurer songs are always the same ending but this was actually the butcher's ending! I also like how this is giving more of a spotlight to wooly, noticing how much he really tries to help the player. I love it! Another thing is that the art goes from cutesy to earry each time a type plays just like in the game when the tapes get more disturbing everytime!
Gotta thank you from your friends in making a Amanda The Adventurer song and appreciate your consistency RecD. RecD has really done so much songs for us i feel like he can do anything for all of us at this point. If he needs to take breaks for all the sanity of his work along with his friends, he should because we all (your fans) know and give like a million times the support he deserves along with his friends over the years. As far as i would say here another fine work, ultimately well done and may god bless to you for more fun animations you plan on making along with your friends too man
I like the fact when wooly say sacrificial lamb is both talking about him dying and you being sacrificed to Amanda, like in the 1600’s they sacrificed lambs to summon demons. Also sick song🔪🐑 I also like how they reference some legends like Pandora’s box since Amanda has a demon side
Has anyone noticed that the animation gets different in style or is it just me at first it was cute and all. And after some time... It actually changed. Like at the last part in the TV when Amanda looked kinda realistic. And also I love this song! Especially when Wooly sometimes talks to us. I love it so much!

I like how Amanda starts to have more realistic proportions as the tapes go on
Wow this song is amazing! You guys did great!
An interesting detail I noticed was at 0:32 and 1:13, the melody sounds like Swiper the Fox’s theme. Did anyone else catch that? As a Dora fan this detail is super cool to me.
Especially at the beginning it sounds the like “we did it” theme.
Considering how many Dora the explorer references there are in this video, I’d say it was purposeful
"Dora the explorer!"
Me: *who watched traumatizing dora videos*
Not important but fist Saw i TROUGTH the Fox you are speaking of was the dead Fox in Amanda but i searched and found out that swiper Fox Its raposo
Haha i dint know that in english he was called like This
I think Its REALLY speed UP Fox theme
i love how neither wooly or amanda are framed as evil, and you're lead to believe wooly would be the sacrificial lamb, but of course, that doesn't happen...
the way wooly's verses are more somber and a complete change from amanda's jolly verses is amazing
also the sheer CHANGE in tone and artstyle in the second part threw me through a loop, the fact the instrumental, vocals, and even the way amanda speaks changes is _chilling_
and then at the end, both of them have to tell the sorry truth to you... that you were the *_Sacrificial Lamb_* all along...
i love all of this

THAT WAS SO GOOD!!!! I think this has to be my fav video you’ve ever done. Brilliantly written with seamless references to the source material. Absolutely awesome
Bro I love your animated rap battles!
"But you were always bound"
"Like... Me.
I felt that 😢
I like how even though wooly is the main messenger in this video, Amanda isn’t really considered to be evil in this.
Edit: Y’all did you see the sticker for Amanda’s demon form on the tv box?
I saw it
Which means Riley already got that ending
@@sdekoning2100it's kind of obvious because in the video you can burn the kitchen and the neighborhood tape is changed
Maybe that’s why Riley isn’t listening to wooly. She’s just trying to get on Amanda’s good side so she doesn’t go crazy and kill her again.
@@jordanslocum3903 Yeah could be :)
Has anyone else noticed the art style changes with each tape? I love fan made songs that go all the way! Good job 🎉 I’d love to see more ❤

I noticed that too! It's one of the main reasons why I love this song so much!
Underrated lines:
0:47 - 0:50 I LOVE the deliverly of the second “you found it”, as well as wooly stepping out of the TV, idk why. I just love the emotion
1:12 - 1:19- again, the EMOTION.
The part in the first timestamp problably has the most creative lines
when they said "pandoras box" my monkey brain went "ooh fancy word me like"
I still don’t understand what specifically she did (or was trying to do) when she said ‘so this time, I’ll help you!’
1:20 I can't believe this song was so good for us and we like this song so much and this part is when wooly has white eyes
I like how it refers to Amanda catching you with the line “The kitten caught another mouse it never wanted to…”
Perfect way to explain this! I’m currently making the most lore theories as I can about this game which I played 3 times in a row but I still don’t understand the butcher ending…
The butcher ending is the ending that this song is based off of. You become the butchers meat, or in this song, The Sacrificial Lamb.
@@Hello-lv8nf thank you! So basically Amanda is controlled by the entity?
@@jules_twa Pretty sure
I realized that the art style starts to become more realistic as the song gets more serious.
Brook me too
It kinda seems like the reverse is happening in the "interlude" sections, where Wooly's trying to warn the player away. It started out "realistic" then got toonier and toonier.
1:54
It's more of a coincidence(problably)
1:47 I just now realized the transition to hell-o
0:11 the pie has a halo, such a great detail.
0:31 idk why but i love this part sm, just the way he delivers the “pacifists” is so good to me

The song didn't even start and people are already "getting out of the attic with this one 🔥🔥🔥™", dayum.
Wooly warning Riley.
Riley: Trust me, I've got this all under control.
*Later*
Amanda and Wooly sighing and leading you to the hole.
Riley: Nah, I got this fam.
*Grabs brick and throws it out window, climbing out onto the roof and burning the house to the ground*
Wooly: Dang, I guess they did have it under control.
Amanda: Man, who woulda guessed.

It’s only illegal if you get caught
@@haleycress633 It's not even illegal. It's their house. They can legally break windows. And if I could have a house in the suburbs as a young adult I would totally put up with evil vhs tapes honestly.
Man the style changing is so sick i love how it gets less and less innocent, very well done
Yea like start like a toy Style and end Just cursed
I love how each segment there is a new art style! I’m surprised that not a lot of people are talking about that.
I really like what you did there. The parts where Wooly warns the player about the tapes, and Amanda is just chef's kiss!
Round of claps to you, and the people who worked with you on the making of this song
"YOUR BACK AGAIN WHATS WRONG WITH YOU"
that just tells me we are stressing wooly the hell out😂😂😂
I love how much this plays on the Dora the explorer theme, and the twist with the sacrificial lamb was brilliant and chilling. This is genuinely the most unsettling Amanda the Adventurer fan song I've ever seen.
Side note, that Fridge song in the end was a banger too 🔥
i like how the art style goes from cartoony at max to realistic at max
I noticed that in the instrumental, Wooly's solo parts references the part where we find Swiper's.
Good reference.
Oh my god 😭
IM SO HAPPY SOMEONE POINTED OUT. I LOVE THOSE PARTS OF THE SONG!
Wooly no wooling
2:13 "the kitten cought another mouse it never wanted to🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥" THAT LINE IS JUST PERFECTION
I like how the art style just gets less and less cartoonish as it progresses
It shows that it was never just a tv show 👏 👏
All Cipher’s Code (At least what I got):
1:00-STOP IT WOOLY THAT HURTS
1:35-OH NO IT'S HAPPENING
1:48-PLE ASE LET THIS WORK HEL
1:54 (Both of them):
- (DON’T) LET HER MOVE THE GLOW AROUND YOU
- STOP SCARING MY FRIEND WOOLY IT WON'T HAPPEN THIS TIME
1:48 is probably "HELP", right?
@@SpacialAssassin no. I think it connects to him saying "-lo?! HEllo?! Can you hear me?" Like, "Please let this work hello?! hello?!" like that. (I'm using mom's acc.)
"Wooly has an important message for you. But it doesn't matter because Sheep Can't Talk."
he doesn't say it, but he sure as hell encodes it in multipule parts of the video! there's one hidden for a few frames in most instances where he goes out of the tv
I found 5 so far, though i'll let you find and de-code them yourself ;)
I love how at 3:06 the butcher just looks at the player like “Oh hey new meat”

As someone who grew up with TV, I am loving both the 'We Did It' and the 'Swiper No Swiping' references here. You really outdid yourself! ❤❤❤
What timestamp is the Swiper Reference?
@@v3nus523both at 0:33 and 1:12 are the start of the references, if you listen to the swiper no swiping song and the melody in the background, they are extremely similar if not the same
I think doing a song on the other endings for the Amanda game would be interesting, that way we can learn more about the lore and see Amanda’s perspective in the videos.
Love how Woolie goes from surprised to disappointed in "You found it!? You found it."
This deserves way more attention. The art, the music, it’s all amazing.
As everyone knows the art style changes the more serious it gets but so does woolys interactions with holes in the static from where his arms are then in front of the pause and then inside the frame of the tv at the end
To elaborate he isn't apart of this word as he reaches 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 then he can just reach out then his lower half is his by the static then the final time he is hanging 𝙤𝙣 the screen
that makes, sense but uhm why IS IT SO CREEPY
Also this is the time stamps to make it easier to compare
0:32
0:48
1:12
1:48
Also when he says "you've opened up Pandora's box" in the sub titles it says "you've opened up PanDora's box"
Well done.
1:56 OMG I LITERALLY JUMPED- THAT IS SO SCARY WTF 😭😭

0:54 panDora's box is such a good pun!
@Sans_Undertale892 now you get it!
@@gren8te319I love that because Dora and Amanda have a lot in common just that Amanda try’s to kill Wooly
@alezdivertidotube2389 actually Amanda the adventurer was inspierd by Dora.(the more you know)
I'm really surprised about this song!
As far as i would say here another fine work, ultimately well done and may god bless to you for more fun animations you plan on making along with your friends too man
Oh wow! I love the change of pace throughout the song that shows gotten Amanda changes personality. Thank you for making this!
I like the fact when wooly say sacrificial lamb is both talking about him dying and you being sacrificed to Amanda, like in the 1600’s they sacrificed lambs to summon demons. Also sick song🔪🐑
I also like how they reference some legends like Pandora’s box since Amanda has a demon side
“We learned that sometimes that there’s not choice when your alone”
Girl just told my whole life💀
I love how the artstyle changes with each tale and such and it kinda gets more realistic or creepy.
“The kitten caught another mouse it didn’t want too”
Gave me literal chills
WE'RE GONNA SMELL SOMETHING ROTTING WITH THIS ONE 🔥🔥🔥
the butcher😂 WAIT THE MEAT- 3:05 Also what does Amanda mean by this? 2:17
Man, I love how each tape has a different art style. They’re all amazing! Especially the pie-baking one and the farm one. They’re just so adorable!
Has anyone noticed that the animation gets different in style or is it just me at first it was cute and all. And after some time... It actually changed. Like at the last part in the TV when Amanda looked kinda realistic. And also I love this song! Especially when Wooly sometimes talks to us. I love it so much!
i loved the fact that if you reset the song you can see the happiness on the start and the sadness on the end, like its really a tape bro its too good
0:31 is fire bro ngl

Lol
The lyrics are perfect and so accurate to the lore. I swear.
Bro Amandas face when she is holding the knife is pure gold though like seriously that was amazing also the crying cats expression at the farm is incredible,amanda’s face when she says “W O N T Y O U H E L P T H E L O N E L Y K I T T E N ?” That legit gave me shivers bro
i love how cute Wooly look when Amanda gives him his birthday card!❤
At 1:00 the text “vwrs lw zrrob wkdw kxuwv” is a Caesar Cipher of “stop it wooly that hurts”. And at 1:35 the Caesar Cipher is “oh no it’s happening again”.
At 1:48 it translates to “ple ase let th i s work he l”
2:55 plot twist I jump out the window.
Plot twist you die and end right back to the meat man

Somehow revive Amanda, adopt woolie and get some ice cream
*Welp, ladies and gentlemen, we learned it.*
This song was AMAZING and has got to be one of my favorite RecD songs to date! The Dora feels that you get from the song, the way everything is executed and the art was so amazing! And the art team did so amazing with their art that it's clear to see why everyone was fighting over this song! Cheers to you, Grace and the art team for pulling this off! You did splendid, everyone!
Also why does the song remind me of the RecD Among Us song Another Beautiful Day-?
Probably because when RecD sings as wooly it kinda sounds similar to the yellow crewmate.
0:28 Love how you included the funny Amanda scream from whenever the kitchen is on fire!
Wooly's design in the first bit is SO ADORABLE! I LOVE IT!
I can’t believe RecD finally made a song about how subway gets their sandwich meat…
Guess what?
The noise is coming next week

seriously, can this guy make a song that doesn't destroy my expectations?
I like how every tape or every time they show again, they change their looks
My fav is probably when wooly has the magnet and pauses the farm part
