Audrey Hepburn was one of the most lovable actresses of all time. Her movies are wonderful even today. I can't say that about a lot of old movies that seemed great then, but don't stand up to the test of time.
She was a brave girl in the Netherlands during World War Two. She ran errands for the local resistance during right under the vicious rule of the German occupation.
Audrey Hepburn was not known for her vocal prowess. Yet it didn't matter that she could barely sing "Moon River" because she brought beauty, a bit of innocence, and genuine feeling to the piece. A winning combo.
This was such a great movie, funny, romantic, and sad, all at the same time. Reminds you of how beautiful falling in love can be and the heart aches that follows. All the years go by, you wonder what happened to your love story when you loved with such passion. They are all gone now.
It is so sad that the so called younger generation has missed out on so much.. like this great movie and so much more that we the older generation had in the 60's & 70's.
Andy Williams voice captures the feel of this Mancini song and envelopes the magic of the film perfectly. All day they we're just too young adults having fun as neighbors , who did not want tobe bored with life, and they didn't realize till they were in the pouring rain that they were in love 💓 why do people always fall in love in the pouring rain ? I guess the rain brings out the emotions in people.

Unforgettable Audrey Hepburn all she had such a beautiful feminine sweet innocent look about her. I've had people tell me I look like her and I take that as a compliment because I think she was gorgeous and she had the personality to go along with it.
