@@MightyCalves the unresponsive bearing on (at least my) V3 doesn't do a great job, so plan on getting a taste of unresponsive on v3 and then moving on.

What is your opinion on buying a Replay Pro for only 15$? Is it okay for beginners?

you can do way better for not much more money. the replay pro is alright, but idk, YYF (particularly that line) is incredibly disappointing, if you play with actually good yoyos.

The replay pro is good for unresponsive cheap yoyo but for $15 you can get YOYO magic Node that compete to competition made of aluminum metal big and wide heavy gram.
Come with KK bearing 10 ball but for replay pro it come with Center trac bearing 8 ball.

Depends. If you want to do mkre tricks like the trapeze then you should get the unresponsive it gonna be hard first time but trust me i gone through it you will be fine just need to learn how to execute a bind

I've got a question if anyone can help me here. I just decided to get back into yoyos, I was very into them in the 90s back in the days of the Proyo II and the Turbo BumbleBee, I started looking into yoyos to buy and nearly everything available is now the butterfly style, it's really hard to find the imperial or modified style nowadays. What's up with that? Are the butterfly style yoyos that much better?

The V3 is a responsive yoyo (tug on string to get it to come back to your hand). The node is an unresponsive yoyo, you have to perform a trick called a bind to get it to come back.
Beginner should start with the V3 so you can perfect your throw and practice mounts (which is the precursor to your first bind). Then once you're ready and you want longer spin times get a wide centertrac bearing and upgrade your V3 to an unresponsive.
Buy some extra string and you're all set with your v3

I have this yoyo, my first bearing yoyo, I honestly don't recommend it for intermediate players, the gap is not very wide so string tricks are hard to land since you don't have much room for error.
