PLOT TWIST, the audience is bombarded with different genres, Murder mystery..Crime, thriller..Horror, Paranormal.. slice of life and most recent episode, TEEN ROMANCE! Who would have thought a drama could work having all these elements!
My goodness Kim Feel, you never fail to deliver the best ost... this ost is indeed epic, 100% perfect for the drama itself. Jirisan indeed set the bar very high in its storyline and plot twist. Giana Jun never fail to deliver, what an epic continuously comeback after KIngdom!
I like the heroic feeling that this song brings , it makes the drama more exciting and mysterious. And above all, I'm really impressed by the singer's voice. It's amazing, both drama and ost.

This song story actually tells us the Braveness of all Mountain Ranger, this may not fit in the scenes in the drama but it is fully fit in the braveness of Mountain Rangers and Jirisan is the story of Mountain Rangers.
I don't care if people said they failed the CG. This drama is so damn good, good plot, good characters, damn fine casts and so many more. 2 episodes every week but man, the hanging feeling every time each episode ends.
I definitely agree with you. i am a thriller, mystery and crime enthusiast, anything and everything about these genre will definitely go into my list, but JIRISAN is something else. If you are Malaysian, JIRISAN story line and plot did not fall far from Malaysian mystical aspect about the existence of 'Alam Bunian' (not sure the term in English). Most Asian believe in the mystical aspect of the unseen life within the forests and mountains, the spirits that blend in its existence... that's what made JIRISAN special. It's not a parallel world theme, it's not paranormal... it's mystical, myth, legend, belief and reality mixed together. Simply beautiful and epic at the same time. You are glued to the story and the twisted plot because you can't simply predict the end of each episode and at the same time... you are mesmerize by the beauty of Mt Jirisan and all its complexity. I personally felt so humble every time I watch the drama, how natures tirelessly giving a piece of them for us human to ponder and to learn about life.
... and those that comment on the CGI, came only for the technical aspect, but those that comes for the story line and plot twist comes genuinely for how good the script is... :) I come from technical background, but still Jirisan story line and plot are still the one that make the drama at a higher par...
After roaming for a year in mount jiri, I guees HyunJoo can beats YiGang in term of knows every detail in mount jiri. Love YiGang quote “mountain is just mountain, because everyone has their own mountain in their heart”, couldn’t agree more
