I'm starting college for game art and design this year, your a huge inspiration man so glad I found your channel. I want to do this so bad but I have very little 3D experience, gonna give it my all wish me luck!!! is there anything you would say to a starting out game animator?
Study anatomy to understand the biomechanics of movement, don't be afraid to use video reference and become a fanatical hobbyist! Read everything you can about animation, follow tutorials and saturate yourself in the medium. Don't allow perfectionism to bog you down early on. Create an animation and then abandon it and move on. It takes 1000s of hours to get good so just keep at it :) Good luck!
@@WarwickEwanMellow I really appreciate it seriously, that's real advice from a pro, I'm really gonna treasure that. perfectionism is something I struggled with for the longest time and I eventually realized how much it held me back, mentally I really feel like I can do this now, I'm happy just to create and feel passion for something.
@@WarwickEwanMellow sorry for bothering again but do you know som great tutorials for animating like this. My school focuses too much on the generalist and we don’t have much animation. I really want to be an animator and get internship whether it’s game or film💪🏻💪🏻. Thank youuu
