I stopped playing cod because it’s basically fortnight with better characters if you think about it and you can’t build things mid battle same guns same ideas I mean the only thing worth it is campaigns and zombies if your playing war zone and multiplayer it’s basically fortnight but yeah that’s why I play the old ones that was good where the Zombies mode was actually good and wasn’t shit and the campaigns yeah they had bad graphics but the ideas was good 👍 This new version of cad is just less desirable literally only reason I should buy the game is to complete the story mode campaign 😂 which is basically the best thing about cod but since vanguard messed that up so bad This story line is great by default pretty much so yeah that’s where I’m at with it
Modern Warfare was the single greatest shooter ever with Promod. Everything after that even MW2 was a let down and went away from what made the original Modern Warfare so good. It got way too arcadey.
I would buy mw3 with a new engine and improved networking. Realistically doesn't even need visual updates, just give me mw3 with improved networking and I'll buy that shit

This is why I place black ops 2 and mw2 on steam. These games are 10+ years old and infinitely better than anything they’ve dropped since. I can say it feels incredibly nostalgic as well.
@saladass1571 na, man it was a pretty good hipfire setup, very mobile, just absolutely no distance, as long as you knew when to retreat you'd do good. I played the mode where you had to get the bomb and arm it in the enemy base, it allowed for different gameplay than the meta builds.

The gunsmith and the way it’s set up means that you absolutely have too grind using a worse weapon to get attachments for the weapon you actually want too use, imo the best create a class system we’ve had was the cod points one from BO1, you’d buy the gun you wanted, and the attachments you wanted along with whatever perks you wanted too unlock, gave you an actual sense of progression even after you’d reached a max level as you don’t have too use other guns to get their attachments you can just have fun with whatever you want, gunsmith made shit way too complicated for a simple shooting game.

Its a legit new low if shit doesn't unlock when you met the required clauses. Its like QA 101 of launching a game build make sure shit works. Even in betas the bare minimium is make sure things AT LEAST WORK. Hell one of my admins on this channel worked on the first warzone and he said there would have been tables flipping if bugs like the one that made it into the first warzone. The goal of any game development should be at least things function as intended.

Bro I’ve got to have one of the worst reload cancel stories from the entire year on Shipment: I’m on the side with the two bits of cover, behind the red crate you spawn in. I kill someone coming through the tunnel and press reload, but another one comes through. I try to reload cancel but it just restarts the animation. I move behind cover and accidentally YY, which restarts the reload again. I switch to the knife and run down the lane and into the red spawn crate. I switch back to my gun and wait for the reload, but nothing happens. In the split second it takes for me to take my thumb from the stick to the reload button, someone spawns in front of me and immediately gets blown up by a rocket launcher, causing me to pick up their gun (a RAAL MG) instead of reload. Before I can even ADS, a riot shielder with a knife sprints in and kills me.😂
They would've been a great remake for an old series if they kept everything that was good and fun about the old game while adding in some new features. But as we can see the new people running the company had other things in mind, mainly just filling their pockets with money.

To be hones, no. Modern warfare 2019 was the best call of duty in years. Screw the whole warzone part. The multi player was amazing. The game play was good. I honestly didn't have many complaints. Micro transactions ruined call of duty. The game became about skins and good graphics, not good game play like it used to be. Some of the best days of my gaming life, made so many friends on Black Ops 1 & 2. They were mainly American (I'm British), I'd get on as they'd get home from work at 6pm US time & it'd be 11pm here, we'd play 5 hours, they'd get off at 11pm fresh for the next day, I'd get off at 4am & have to get at work 3 hours later 😂😂😂 Worth it!!
I had to level up a marksman rifle to level 13, then level up another marksman rifle to another level, then level up a sniper to level 18, then level up a sniper to level 8 so I can use a suppressor on a battle rifle

They actually listen to the OSRS community and every update, new features, skills, etc are actually voted on by the players. Every week you log in and they have new polls about everything. They actually spent time and money creating a whole new skill (first time since 2005), put it into beta testing and then abandoned it because it didnt meet the approval threshold for adding new content.
That’s the issue, the COD community doesn’t have a clue what they want. Like the movement in MWII was the way it is because the community wanted it to be nerfed, so it got nerfed and generally the content creators starting crying about it as they could no longer brainlessly jump spam every fight and win. And then another part of the COD community started to complain about it too. In fact I’m quite sure that with many of the features that were removed in MWII, they tried doing so because they thought it may help the game be more fun, aside from the battlepass and micro transactions.
DEVS don’t make this decision. Devs play this game more than anybody. Devs not only hate these decisions but have to sit there and actively implement them. Stop blaming devs for executive decisions

Part of it was they tried something new. Remember, MW2019 was IW trying something new and it become the best selling cod of all time. So, IW gave it another shot and tried to reinvent the wheel and failed. Their issue was they didn’t pivot off their fail quickly enough.

I’ve been playing since COD 4 and I felt disrespected that they had to do this. For their apology they should’ve gave MW3 to people who own MW2 or just give the game out for free.
The real ones who grew up playing duty no longer play it.. me and the guys I worked with use to go home and get on the game several times a week. The last one we all played together was the introduction to the exoskeleton like halo and it lost us. Most of us are playing PC military sim, DCS, Arma, days z, survival anything but no more duty. 😢
For me CoD ended with the end of old MW3. That was the wrap up for the series I was deeply involved in, it was a perfect ending I expected it to be. After that mostly I was observing from the sideways how all the things were going downhill (+ appreciating all the work put to remastering old MW1/2 despite not even touching new MW1/2)
That's the idea. Make money. They're doing it in stupid ways, though, and alienating their player base. I haven't played a COD game since MW3. I have a hard time accepting the BO series as COD, even WaW which was a nice return to the original CoD WWII setting. The control response changed between MW and MW2 and the shift between dedicated servers in COD4:MW to matchmaking was a step backwards.

@saladass1571 na, man it was a pretty good hipfire setup, very mobile, just absolutely no distance, as long as you knew when to retreat you'd do good. I played the mode where you had to get the bomb and arm it in the enemy base, it allowed for different gameplay than the meta builds.

The gunsmith and the way it’s set up means that you absolutely have too grind using a worse weapon to get attachments for the weapon you actually want too use, imo the best create a class system we’ve had was the cod points one from BO1, you’d buy the gun you wanted, and the attachments you wanted along with whatever perks you wanted too unlock, gave you an actual sense of progression even after you’d reached a max level as you don’t have too use other guns to get their attachments you can just have fun with whatever you want, gunsmith made shit way too complicated for a simple shooting game.

I’m on the side with the two bits of cover, behind the red crate you spawn in. I kill someone coming through the tunnel and press reload, but another one comes through. I try to reload cancel but it just restarts the animation.
I move behind cover and accidentally YY, which restarts the reload again. I switch to the knife and run down the lane and into the red spawn crate. I switch back to my gun and wait for the reload, but nothing happens.
In the split second it takes for me to take my thumb from the stick to the reload button, someone spawns in front of me and immediately gets blown up by a rocket launcher, causing me to pick up their gun (a RAAL MG) instead of reload.
Before I can even ADS, a riot shielder with a knife sprints in and kills me.😂
They would've been a great remake for an old series if they kept everything that was good and fun about the old game while adding in some new features. But as we can see the new people running the company had other things in mind, mainly just filling their pockets with money.

They actually listen to the OSRS community and every update, new features, skills, etc are actually voted on by the players. Every week you log in and they have new polls about everything. They actually spent time and money creating a whole new skill (first time since 2005), put it into beta testing and then abandoned it because it didnt meet the approval threshold for adding new content.
The community is way too split in too many directions, they’ll never know. It’s never as easy as some of y’all make it out to be
That’s the issue, the COD community doesn’t have a clue what they want. Like the movement in MWII was the way it is because the community wanted it to be nerfed, so it got nerfed and generally the content creators starting crying about it as they could no longer brainlessly jump spam every fight and win. And then another part of the COD community started to complain about it too. In fact I’m quite sure that with many of the features that were removed in MWII, they tried doing so because they thought it may help the game be more fun, aside from the battlepass and micro transactions.

As a person that has been with the cod community for a while, I like to say that we agree. Infinity Ward absolutely disrespected us as a community. They never listened to feed back since day one of MW2 and maybe even other games too💀💀
Part of it was they tried something new. Remember, MW2019 was IW trying something new and it become the best selling cod of all time. So, IW gave it another shot and tried to reinvent the wheel and failed. Their issue was they didn’t pivot off their fail quickly enough.
Its not IW; its Activision. This is a systematic issue with the entire franchise. Dont forget that Activision makes the calls at the end of the day.

There needs to be a documentary on the creation of MW2 and how they messed up so badly.
This is the first year of my life that I’m not buying the new call of duty. I started playing when Call of Duty 2:Big Red One came out.
This current COD is probably the best one in the last 4 years

It’s like simplicity is SO hard for these developers.
I will never understand why they decided to move away from the CoD Ghosts perk and attachement unlock system. It was by far the best implementation they ever had, and then just decided to scrap it and never use it again...
BLOPS2 will always be my ride or die COD perk and attachment system, but Ghosts is pretty close.

Ghost is slept on BIG time
Ghosts was a steaming pile of rancid dung. I remember literally taking that disc and burning it for being such a waste of my money that I stopped playing COD until 2018. Anyone who references Ghosts as being a “good game” is a liar.
I’ve been playing since COD 4 and I felt disrespected that they had to do this. For their apology they should’ve gave MW3 to people who own MW2 or just give the game out for free.

I haven't played Call of Duty for over 5 years got one on sale couple months ago it plays exactly the same after all these years

The real ones who grew up playing duty no longer play it.. me and the guys I worked with use to go home and get on the game several times a week. The last one we all played together was the introduction to the exoskeleton like halo and it lost us. Most of us are playing PC military sim, DCS, Arma, days z, survival anything but no more duty. 😢

Dcs is amazing
For me CoD ended with the end of old MW3. That was the wrap up for the series I was deeply involved in, it was a perfect ending I expected it to be. After that mostly I was observing from the sideways how all the things were going downhill (+ appreciating all the work put to remastering old MW1/2 despite not even touching new MW1/2)

COD cares more about the store than the players.
That's the idea. Make money. They're doing it in stupid ways, though, and alienating their player base. I haven't played a COD game since MW3. I have a hard time accepting the BO series as COD, even WaW which was a nice return to the original CoD WWII setting. The control response changed between MW and MW2 and the shift between dedicated servers in COD4:MW to matchmaking was a step backwards.
Because when they listen to the players and actually do what we want them to, the whole community starts to fucking complain and so they don’t listen to us anymore
But you can be Nicki Minaj, that’s what the core demographic really wants.
