I've searched for a few things so your introduction made me smile. Thank you for the wonderful ideas. Last night I made something that Jami Ray Vintage inspired me to do. They made snack mixes for 25 neighbors with 2 cereals, mini pretzels, M&M candies but they topped their containers with a few kisses and caramels, which I didn't do to save $$. I used 2 types of Chex cereals that were on sale for $1.99/box, mini pretzels, a couple of boxes of M&M's from Dollar Tree and a couple of bags of salted peanuts. Then put the snack in washed sandwich containers with green lids and inserted them in the cute Christmas Christmas pastry boxes. The boxes were $9 from Amazon. My large bowl of snack mix was not enough to use all of the boxes so they cost me about $4.50. My budget was tight this year.

Ohhhh yummm that sounds amazing! I remember as a kid getting snack bags treats, it was something I always looked forward to. Sometimes it's the simplest things that make the biggest impact :) Thank you for sharing your idea! Yes I agree, this year is tight for a lot of people so it's nice to have idea's that are budget friendly. Thank you so much for sharing! I'll have to try that idea out! Merry Christmas :)
