You mentioned the wire to your fuel pump. I am not a fan of electric fuel pumps on race cars for the reason that in a crash and there is a fire and you have a ruptured fuel line the pump will feed the fire and make a bad situation much worse. Also a good fire bottle is a must. Years ago we used a beer keg for a fuel tank and I had a bad wreck when the throttle stuck and the tank ruptured and gas was every where. I was lucky and it did not ignite. Above all be safe.
