This is Saura art of Orissa and not Warli painting of Maharashtra. Please don't mix them both...anyways nice work
True. It is saura painting.
Oh yes. I wasn't aware of the Saura art earlier. Got to know after I shared this series on Instagram. It isn't as popular as Warli. But I also came to know that Saura art always has a religious theme or purpose while warli painting depicts daily life, celebrations and human-nature interaction. By theme, it is Warli, but yes, many elements are from Saura. I am new to Saura art and learning more about it, to make sure that I do justice with it, without mixing or confusing it with Warli painting 😊❣️
