Good stuff Travis, Thank You, have a good week🙏👍😎
thanks Travis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the update on the baler. Hope the weather's allowed you to get some hay made.
Good morning Travis thanks for the update. Pinkeye in cattle is no fun to deal with. Take care and have a great upcoming week 👍
Thanks for the video
Always good to hear thoughts and plans.
Good stuff
Thanks for the update again👍 you always keep your equipment in good shape👍
Excellent video travis
PTO yoke-wise I'd talk to Wes (OLF) as he would know where you can get better quality than ones like from tractor supply but will still be cheaper and will know what companies to watch out for. As while he has Krone big square he had similar issues price-wise so might just be worth having a chat with him.
Good video
Spent the 700 and be done with it! One of these times that shaft will hit the ground when running and bend the hell of it. That will be you 700+ easy!
Should be able to buy the large 1000 yoke at a drive line shop for a lot less than @JD.
@@maxmoo3275 o definitely
I'm sure you thought of it, but typically have to slide draw bar out one hole when using adapters to keep it in spec.
Thanks for the video Travis. The last cover I bought from Deere I found out that I would have been better off to buy the whole shaft and not just the cover and that was on our baler. Not saying would be the same for you but I was shocked to say the least at the price of them. Don’t blame you for trying to fix that one.
Hopefully the weather cooperates for getting the hay made and put up.
Good morning from Scotland... Great work on that vid .. one thing iv learned over the years is.... you can sit and listen no problems ti things you already know is its a good teacher telling you... Travis your kids are in good hands with you.. 😊. Its that old saying "every day is a school day " 😅.. that wide angle yokes can be a pain when the small center bearing starts to go.. normally the tractors pto takes the brunt of the vibration. Stay safe 🏴
Thanks for the update on the bailer and planter, very crazy how much parts are costing
Nice warsh em up!
Travis, what about a shop that specializes in drivlines, you could arguably take the collar with you and possibly mfg one.
How about allen head set screw pending depth.
Thanks for the video.
I have not used pto adapters in the last 30 years. I get an extra shaft with the larger splines for the bigger pto tractors.
Good update.
Hey Travis, Yes Sir that PTO shaft end is expensive . Thank you very much for the surprise with this video. A update on the calves and please lets have some valley video's. Take care, Take it Easy and TRUST JESUS!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe Travis can get one cutting off of the valley next month. As I'm pretty sure the bottom of the valley has standing water and what isn't covered the ground is probably soft from to much rain. I sure he can though have Ryan go down with the drone and get a video what it looks like
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Wishing you and your family the best.
Thanks Travis!
I’d check with some tractor salvages and maybe eBay for a wrecked 1000 pto and switch out the the yoke. You know there’s got to be a few people that’s wrecked some shafts!! Thanks for the video.
Travis, you always give great information. I changed this year to a tractor with large 1000 only and changed the pto end from small 1000. I discovered the length of a large pto shaft is 4 inches longer and was afraid there wasnt enough overlap in the two halfs out the pto to not cause problems in the future. I ended up getting a whole pto for the large 1000. I also think there's something about the hitch pin pivot point for the cv joint to work properly. I hope this info helps and keep up the vidios i enjoy your seeing your experiences.
Scary what some parts cost.
700 hundred dollars not bad we had same thing on are big spreader did bend shaft 2000 for new shaft
Any other style adapters that don't use those bolts? Look into loctite or drill those bolts and safety wire them. Also NordLock washers work.
That tractor not switch to small pto stub?
I’ve pulled the big pto out of a 7210R and installed the dual (small 1000/540) into it
If it is like ours it depends what option it had when it was from factory as when we were looking at tractors a few years ago as well as gearbox options you had various backend ones depending if you wanted swappable or 540/540E or 1000/1000E on some for the economy options meant the PTOs was just one speed.
Can't swap out the pto on the 8235r.
Why do you bale with such a big tractor? Duals?
Baler needs an iso monitor. Tractor has a dedicated monitor in it. Plus it's the only job that tractor has all summer so it can stay hooked up and also having the larger tractor and hp is nice in our uneven hills.
