- It's time for my 2023 makeup inventory. I like to do a cosmetics inventory at the start of each year as part of my big makeup use up and my goal of having a more minimal makeup collection. Of course, I've got my handy makeup inventory spreadsheet on hand to help. There's still plenty of makeup I want to use up in 2023 but here's an overview of the products I'm working on using up and decluttering as part of my ongoing makeup no buy.

I started using hand cream as body lotion, shower gel and bubble bath as hand soap and hair conditioner as shaving cream, and they all work so well!! Who knew 😂

You are actually doing really well. You are consistently using your things up, saving money, and not buying new stuff when you don’t need it. You are doing great! I have been doing the same thing with body and hair care..and skin care for the most part. But..like you..I have been gifted A LOT of skincare . So much! I have a friend who has 2 subscriptions and she gives me a ton of stuff, which is great. I rarely purchase skincare unless I have a need arise!

Thank you! You're absolutely right - I'm not buying stuff just for the sake of it. My purchases are still really intentional and that's the main thing. Your friend is so generous. I am so in sync with you about these collections and love these videos. I've been trying to declutter (it seems like forever) I make progress and then back slide either through gifts or incredible deals on products I use regularly. I'm heading into another year of trying and love the spreadsheet idea. After watching your video I got up and lit one of my candles...have got to start using those up, I received 3 more at Christmas. Also, thank you for your previous advice on how to destress a bit when you don't have the option to disengage from work etc...I've made an effort to take a short lunch break outside when the weather is nice, I started exercising for at least 30 minutes after work and i'm making myself go out with friends or family once a week to help keep up my social relationships. I do feel better and it's only been a couple of weeks so something is working. Always look forward to your videos! Thankyou!

love a random spreadsheet. I’ve had one since September tracking how many times I’ve worn every item in my wardrobe and I am aiming to have worn every item (depending on the type of item) a certain number of times over the year to make sure I’m wearing everything. I’m doing pretty well except I can’t think of any occasion in which I’m going to wear my prom dress 😅

I am absolutely not brave enough to make one of these videos ahaha! I might film a makeup collection but I definitely won’t be adding it all up ahahah. I’ve just subscribed and I cannot wait to see more from you xx
I don't think it's bad to have a few soaps or shampoos as long as you use it... I have different handsoap for the seasons or mood... Scents affect your psyche and emotions so its logical to me you'd have more than one. Same for any other scented products

Don’t feel bad - even though your numbers have gone up in some categories it doesn’t sound like you’ve been buying random stuff but intentionally stocked up on things you know you love and will use.

It's not been a normal year for you. As you so rightly say, you moved to a different country so stocked up. You won't need to spend any money on Sunscreen this year. Yay!!! Plus maybe ask people for other gifts for Christmas. Maybe a voucher to get your nails done, or your hair done or a cinema gift card. Anything but actual products. Those would also help you feel better about yourself, give you something to do. I love the spreadsheets and numbers, it makes me laugh. XXXXX
I'm set for suncream, hand cream, and probably several other things. That will definitely help my finances this year 😝 I think the Christmas gift idea is awesome. I'll keep that in mind for next year xxx
