KatarinaTVD As someone who waited until my 30s to have kids, a few big advantages of being a teen parent would have been 1. having way more energy to run around with kids, 2. Parents would have still been alive for most of my kids’ childhoods instead of none of them, 3. You’re still really young when your kids are grown - like late 30s instead of late 50s. And you’re more likely to be around to meet your grandchildren.

I think the reason why Josh is the only one who seems realistic is because most teen dads that have pregnancy news dropped on them just take off immediately. The others actually planned the pregnancy so it wasn't a big deal. Josh is one of the 1% who stepped up to responsibility.
Idk if it's the 1% honestly, I was 18 when I found out I was going to be a dad and I've genuinely never been so scared in my life. I could barely think about it without feeling sick lol, but there was never a doubt in my mind not to be there for the baby and hes genuinely been the best thing to ever happen to me.

Actors can do one thing but directors have the capability to manipulate the way in which the footage comes across or the emotions it evokes in the viewer. It’s not that josh was guilty, but the guys were saying stuff like “idk how you can make life and leave it” and then it shot to Josh’s face as if he was in the conversation or being talked about. It seemed like he was being singled out and it didn’t happen just once.
I think they were trying to catch reactions to other people's answers. It did make him look like he had other hidden thoughts but I'm sure that was not their intention.
They’re not singling him out because he chose to go to one side of the room. He chose to make an adult decision, but wasn’t ready for the adult consequences that CAN happen when that decision is made. I get it, teenage boy with raging hormones, can’t see things clearly for what they are in reality. But there’s a point in life where we are taught a level of self discipline to be averse to these life changing risks. Nowadays, single mother households don’t put that pressure on self discipline and thinking before acting. The stats and science on that is fascinating for those of you interested. He made his decision that cost him the life he might’ve wanted and is responsible for the life he helped create. He seems happy now that his child is born, for most men that puts life into perspective. It’s a sacrifice that he’ll live with but most importantly he’ll be living for something other than himself and will feel more fulfilled and validated as he becomes a pillar in his child’s life

Kids can be planned at a young age, plus life isnt just as easy as hoping stuff goes your way and kids are a huge part of that, there have been instances of 40+ year olds who were infertile getting pregnant that doesnt make them mature enough. You have to grow into roles and know your responsibilities, parenting isnt a "read a book and be a good parent" it's a personal journey

I’m confused. It seems like most of them planned their pregnancy. If that’s the case Jubilee should have choose more fathers that “accidentally got pregnant”. In my opinion it’s not “normal” or common to PLAN a child at such a young age so I absolutely understand Josh’s points of views. Well the point of this video is to see if all teen dads agree on things. Of course they're going to have similar points of view if they were all dads who did not plan on having a baby. This video just shows that some teen dads are excited to have babies and have different perspectives than the stereotypical ones. Josh just fits into the stereotypical box, which is perfectly fine by the way. I feel like this sort of video is always going to be skewed anyways because I'd think most dads with negative experiences with their children's birth wouldn't want to go online saying stuff like, "I didn't want them," "They ruined my relationship with my family," or, "They destroyed my chances at getting an education." Imagine their kids seeing that some days. It could ruin their lives. So makes sense that more dads with positive or neutral experiences would be willing to open up about it in front of a camera.

Josh is the one of the most loving & mature 19 year old dad and a boyfriend He was with his 18 year old girlfriend right from when she was pregnant....till her labour at the hospital.....and even now after his two kids turned 1 He meets his kids,feeds them,cuddles them and do whatever he can to provide the best to his twins.....he takes care of his girlfriend, takes her on dates and shows so much love to her He isn't what he looks like in this video

Parents would have still been alive for most of my kids’ childhoods instead of none of them, 3. You’re still really young when your kids are grown - like late 30s instead of late 50s. And you’re more likely to be around to meet your grandchildren.

Actors can do one thing but directors have the capability to manipulate the way in which the footage comes across or the emotions it evokes in the viewer. It’s not that josh was guilty, but the guys were saying stuff like “idk how you can make life and leave it” and then it shot to Josh’s face as if he was in the conversation or being talked about. It seemed like he was being singled out and it didn’t happen just once.
I think they were trying to catch reactions to other people's answers. It did make him look like he had other hidden thoughts but I'm sure that was not their intention.

Kids can be planned at a young age, plus life isnt just as easy as hoping stuff goes your way and kids are a huge part of that, there have been instances of 40+ year olds who were infertile getting pregnant that doesnt make them mature enough. You have to grow into roles and know your responsibilities, parenting isnt a "read a book and be a good parent" it's a personal journey

This was was filmed right before Lagan’s his daughter was born and I’m not sure the people here would’ve counted Layla because even though he raises her and is her dad, they are not biologically related. He was probably just holding one of the babies to keep Josh’s hands from being too full and because he didn’t have a kid with him. Luke and Zeke are Josh’s twins. I’m confused. It seems like most of them planned their pregnancy. If that’s the case Jubilee should have choose more fathers that “accidentally got pregnant”. In my opinion it’s not “normal” or common to PLAN a child at such a young age so I absolutely understand Josh’s points of views. I felt kind of bad for him bc he sometimes was the only one with another opinion and I personally think that Josh represents a lot of teen fathers or parents all around the world. This video kind of portrayed teenage pregnancy as something completely normal and did not (or barely) talk about other problems.

Totally agree. I bet the vast majority of teen fathers are a lot more like Josh than any of the other guys. I felt bad for him too because in this group he was the minority but definitely not IRL. The proportional representation is way off in this group.
Well the point of this video is to see if all teen dads agree on things. Of course they're going to have similar points of view if they were all dads who did not plan on having a baby. This video just shows that some teen dads are excited to have babies and have different perspectives than the stereotypical ones. Josh just fits into the stereotypical box, which is perfectly fine by the way. I feel like this sort of video is always going to be skewed anyways because I'd think most dads with negative experiences with their children's birth wouldn't want to go online saying stuff like, "I didn't want them," "They ruined my relationship with my family," or, "They destroyed my chances at getting an education." Imagine their kids seeing that some days. It could ruin their lives. So makes sense that more dads with positive or neutral experiences would be willing to open up about it in front of a camera.
I'm pretty sure none of them wanted to have a child. Most of them were putting their best face for the camera. Josh was the only one who I thought was honest.

Tylor is the most responsible there. He’s working hard and building a strong relationship before he goes off to serve, and the military gives great benefits and a stable source of income. I see him as the least likely for the child to grow up poor
