Hi Jeanne…lovely to see you again!!! Glad to see you’re getting stronger and feeling better!!! Love your latest top!!! Just wanted you to know that they ask that you don’t wash the blankets for Boggy Creek as Boggy Creek washes each blanket before they are placed on the beds. I’m also making blankets this year…so exciting!!! I believe the blankets have to arrive by January 31, 2025. I’m also sending mines to Juan as I’m in Maryland. I love all your blankets with the intricate stitch patterns…they’re gorgeous!!! The kids will love receiving your blankets!!! Stay safe and be blessed!!!
Hello Jeanne. Good to see you're doing better. Pretty Sophie's Afghan. Yes, Mikey does great tutorials. I did one similar a few years ago. Pretty. Your merch is very nice.
I just decided to start an afghan to pare down my stash. I will do different colored stripes in various stitches, making it up as I go. Your afghans are great! It is wonderful to see you again. Take care
Very happy to see you back and feeling better. I missed seeing you. Loved all the afghans. And what a great tip about learning C2C from Juan. I, too, have struggled finding a good tutorial. I tried a few times and gave up. But, now, I will try it again. I liked yours so much, I might even copy your colors (Don’t tell anyone. Ha!) Stay well.
So glad to see you back! I love your videos, patterns and wildflower items. I am working on boggy creek blankets too, but having trouble getting it organized to put together. Your afghans are lovely and I hope you continue to feel better. Take care!
Thank you so much for supporting the Boggy Creek Blanket drive. The blanket sizes are 35-40 inches wide & 40-50 inches long. We are collecting the blankets through the end of January. We usually deliver them at the beginning of February.
Hi Jeanne! It is always so good to see you! I hope you continue to feel better! I love all the afghans and blankets you are making! I made a c2c shawl for my SIL. It was the first item I created with c2c. I could never understand the YT tutorials until I watched Shonya at Pinky Hooks Crochet! Take good care! ❤
Gtolad you are doing better. Oh my what beautiful things you have been making. Oh yes Jeanne I fully understand why you frogged the chevron blanket. I too have tried several times to do a chevron and have yet to get it right. i want to make one so badly but just can't get the hang of it. I hate counting stitches, lol. God bless, be safe and stay well.♥🧶
Hi Jeanne, so glad you are feeling better. I am also working on the Sophie's Universe also and using the same yarn you have, so you keep in trouble ha,ha. I am just on row 20 did a lot of bringing by am watching the tutorials. God Bless us with finish. Stay well
I made Sophie's Universe last year. I had to concentrate and lots of counting. I love the finished afgahn. Yours is lovely. I put a spiral on my book also.
Glad to see you back! I love the tank top. I just made myself one with a grannysquare for front and back. I made it up. It turned out so neat. I hate corner to corner to much to remember. hope you keep getting better
Hey Jeanne! It is wonderful to see you! Lovey Agnes top love the color. And all your stunning blankets. I am sorry to hear about the health issues. And to let you know I have never watched for you giveaways but to find out what's on the hook. I love your content and patterns. And just wanted to say you look stunning today
I'm so glad you seem to be doing better. I guess the silver lining to this past month is that you had a bunch of crochet time, right? It's all in a nutshell is the channel that does the tutorials. She has quite a few multi part/CAL blanket tutorials. The size you have now would be a great baby blanket size. I love "heathered" colors. That Herrschners looks similar to LB heartland. That crochet crowd blanket looks great. The best time to do those is long after they have finished so that all the errors have come to light. I've done a few and learned the hard way that if you do them when first released, you'll run in to numerous errors. They have an entire line of "study of.." blankets. There are several that I want to make. And I appreciate that they are usually charted. I love the Annie's kit blankets but I can't bring myself to pay that much in total for a blanket made of acrylic when I've got a huge stash of acrylic. I would love to be able to just buy the pattern but they don't do it because they have to know that most people wouldn't buy the kit if they could just buy the pattern. But hope springs eternal and I keep hoping I can buy the patterns alone. Lol Your Christmas Afghan looks great!! Those are the "grinch" colors and they look great in this afghan (makes it a bit more contemporary looking) and the ombre green gives it some extra interest. Having a chain between clusters or not is really dependent on one's tension and the height of their dcs. People who make really tall stitches would probably do well to work a chain between clusters because the perimeter is larger when your stitches are really, really tall. Otherwise, yes, the no chain method is cleaner looking, I think. It's simple but I love the striped c2c blanket! I always recommend the Bella Coco tutorials for c2c. That's how I learned and her tutorials are excellent. I love that coral striped granny square as well. Those colors are wonderful.
Here are the colors: Mustard seed, Saffron, Fossil, Violet, Brick, Teal Lake, Naval, Woodland. All these are Herrschners Heather worsted. I also added Lion Brand Basic Stitch Pumpkin and Red Heart Super SaverPale Plum and Basic Stitch Baby Pink. I hook to crochet it. Hope this helps!
Hello Jeanie, please don’t apologize, we are just happy to see your back.
Glad to see you and take time to recover. All your crochet makes are beautiful and diamond painting too. Sending hugs and prayers.
