I am lucky to own a SuperOcean (not this one, the earlier one) but this is the only stripdown of this watch that I have found. It's lovely to see the beauty on the inside too. Thank you.
Great video, thank you for sharing 🙂👍. I like the finishing of the 17 movement. Looks like Breitling has care and pride for even 3rd party movements. Have seen finish on in house movements from other companies that looks abysmal. People say it's to keep cost down, I say it makes the movement look cheap.
Waterproof performance won't last forever. However, periodic test and replacement of gaskets that directly affect waterproof performance will prevent leakage. Thanks for watching😀
I just got a price of 3325 aed or 903 usd to replace my 44mm superocean 11 inner case from the AD in abu dhabi ...just had a crown replacement done 1 months ago along with a manor service .......i love the watch but the maintenance costs are crazy....considering ive never damaged a crown on any of my rolexes tags or other breitlings not even my seiko captain willards or rado ceramics...
Yeah sadly that appears to be the case with all the big brands. For $900 you can buy a decent watch from a smaller manufacturer. Do the service procedure twice and we're approaching the price point of $1800 where the quality of a new watch already becomes excellent. Swiss watches are only for people who have cash to spend. Personally if I buy the big names I first make sure the watch can be serviced locally by an independent watchmaker. The cost of service becomes less dramatic and it will buy you roughly 12..15 years with your watch (new + serviced) at which point I no longer care and buy a newer model.
Hey man lovly video, can you tell me is it good to own brietling b17 superocean ,longines hydroconquest, or oris cal 400, does in house calibre gets the upper hand or not
The ETA 2824-2 is a relatively easy-to-service movement for Watchmakers. However, the difficulty will vary depending on the type of trouble. Corrosion is caused by the inflow of moisture into the case.😄
I have a BREITLING Aerospace I bought for $11 but the hands only move backwards no matter which way you wind. BREITLING wants over $1,000 to fix. I’m willing to pay or work something out if you want to buy it.

Superb interesting video, thanks very much.
Good job!
Thanks for watching😀
Interesting video, thank you. Makes me wonder how many dive watches end up leaking and if mine ever have. I shudder to think of it.

Is it easy to service?? Also why it has so much corrosion ?

Thanks for watching😊
Compared to your Basic Eta 2824-2 how does a Breitling B17 compare?
The cal. B17 is the top grade ETA 2824-2 movement. There is no difference except for the Grade.
Thanks😀
