Those Sainsbury's lifts used to open straight outside on the ground floor, but for some reason, they decided to close them off at night with the supermarket. I remember they also used to have classic leveling, but were modernised by "UK Lift" and had Dewhurst "Barrel" buttons, and a different voice. The Shannah mod is recent, and was done I believe last year. The Tesco and Memorial car parks (which are part of the same building but separate car parks) have some horrible generic 2008 UK lifts which are always breaking down. There used to be a grotty 60's multi-story car park there, which probably had some nice old lifts in it.
WHSmith in my area has a lift where car preference is a plastic Dewhurst keyswitch that I turned with my house key, but surprisingly, I have not found any other Dewhurst keyswitches that work with my house key.
A hospital near me has two banks (one with 4 and the other with 5) of modernized United Lifts, the name plates are still there but everything else is modded
the first lift must be really really old.. i mean 4 persons / 275kg .. was this lift designed for anorexic people or only super slim women? this lift couldnt even handle 3 avrg. weight men.
+Evadinnn well he is not in SEA thats the difference. people are much taller in europe compared to small asians. im half german / half korean.. and im happy that i made it to 182... so obviously the avrg. weight is higher :p
***** who talked about fat people or fast food, - thats pretty narrow minded x) usually you say that the "perfect" weight is your hight in cm minus 100,, so thats why i said some avrg. sized men would never fit 4 people in there if you consider 1 male-person is about ~~180cm tall.. that would make it way more than 67kg per person. But besides that im suprised that this actually seems worthy to discuss LOL . classic youtube comments

Probably because that particular keyswitch has failed and will be turned by any flat-headed object.

That type of load is standard in South East Asian countries.
