As someone already mentioned, the Valentino bags shown here aren’t the Valentino you’re thinking of. These bags are by Mario Valentino. The brand is sort of like Michael Kors where they make dupe like bags. The Valentino that’s a high end luxury brand is Valentino Garavani. Also, most of the designer bags at these discount chain stores can be found online at better discount prices. That Moschino backpack is 299 online lol
FYI for any shoppers, there are two separate brands of Valentino. The bags shown look to be Valentino by Mario Valentino. You can tell because the V is in a circle versus the Fashion house Valentino in we’re the V doesn’t connect. Also Versace Couture is a different brand under Versace so also not from the main Fashion house. FYI all still aren’t cheap but that’s why you will see those more at places like Nordstrom Rack.
Thank you! I was looking for this comment. I am from europe and worked for a department store and we had this „Valentino“ Brand. The retail price range is very low, because they are not made of real leather! The prices range between 100 to max 200 euros. Therefore these ones are WAY overpriced smh
Hey Laura!! I used to think that the Evian water sprays were odd too until I realized what they could be used for! Spray your face before you apply your hyaluronic acid because it absorbs better on damp skin vs. Dry skin!
.., or reuse a (reusable) empty facemist bottle and fill it with ultradestilled water, so before we put Hyaluronic Acid & or other serums on to our skin, we drench the face with H20. Not only for a smoother applying & absorb, but HA & other moizt bringing ingredients, they will "drink the water out of our skin" and leave the skin dry - IF WE DONT "feed the skin", with water before applying serums. So then the Evian is the perfect bottle to bring with us, so that we under the day/night can continue to feed the moizt needing serum ingredients, on our skin 😅
Biggest mistake in my experience is overcleaning piercings. Twice a day with sterile saline on a cotton swab to get the crusties off and don't twist the jewelry. It has to stay still so the hole can settle and heal. Also, donut pillows are a lifesaver for sleeping on your side with fresh ear piercings. You got this!
Haha I commented before reading your your comment. I always use a travel pillow to sleep after piercings. 🤫 I also only wash my piercings with the shampoo that is running down my ears. I know, I know I should use saline, I just never had, I’ve had dozens of ear piercing plus other piercings and I only ever use Dial clean and gentle.
I got my ears pierced finally at the age of 30! And over cleaning forsure. My ears took EIGHT months to finally heal and I think it was because I was over cleaning. So this is great advice!
Fresh piercings ; clean often with that cleaning solution they give. And that drys your ears out with the new holes so moisturizer really helps after cleaning them!
The best thing I've ever used for piercing is sea salt. Just plain sea salt from the grocery store desolved in warm water. I just soaked my ear twice a day and it was healed within a week. It draws the pain out of the piercing too.
Girl I have 12 (mostly healed) ear piercings and I trust my piercer. Her best advice is to leave the earrings in, don’t touch, try not to sleep on them. Clean them gently with saline spray a couple times a day. If they’re swollen/sore/seem a little infected then mix sea salt (MUST be sea salt) and hot water and soak with a clean washcloth several times a day. Good luck! I wish I had more lobe space to get the new piercing you did-looks SO cute!
I would recommend using salt water or saline spray on your ear a coupe times a day to help speed up the process, keep them clean and dry and don’t fuss around with the piercing/jewelry. Back when I used to get ear/body piercings on a very regular basis, I would use a shot glass with warm water and salt and put them over my piercing for a couple minutes, 2-3 times a day for the first 7-10 days and all of them healed so much faster and became pain free (unless you really tugged on them) within a few days (about a week for more sensitive areas like the nipples).
In regards of the piercing; use saline to clean it twice a day only and don’t touch it too much! And the pain is normal, since it’s so fresh for you. It should get better in a little while, just hang tight.
Thank you Laura for taking us with you shopping - more please! I am dying from lack of shopping! I love shopping but are so poor right now that i cant afford a popsicle even - soooo i was thrilled to be able to see you putting this out today!! It would be so fxxxxing nice to just go around different stores and not worry about every cent, take a coffe/ or a pospicle and just be at peace.... So again thank you!
Once time I found this expensive brand when I was working at Marshalls. I know basically every brand that goes through the store so I was curious.. On the tags it actually said made at tjx companies and it was not an expensive material.. maybe polyester or cotton. Watch out for scams!! This shirt was $99.99 and I’m so glad I looked at the garment tags to see where it was made and what it was made of 🤦🏼♀️
I use to pierce ears. It could be the metal, or you can switch out the stud. They make longer ones so you have more space (the back won’t be so tight on your ear.) OR the back just might be too tight!
Don't take your piercing out, it's so cute! If it's just a lobe piercing it should heal pretty soon. Donut pillow for sleeping, clean it twice a day and don't touch it, or twist the jewelry. The main discomfort usually only lasts about a week. Piercing with Scott or LuLu's have some great videos on how to care for piercings. I'm about to get my 16th one...they're addicting. I think you'll love it once it' heals
For comfortable sleeping with a piercing - roll up a hand towel and then make it into a doughnut - you lay on the piercing side with your ear in the 'doughnut hole'
Where did you get your ear pierced? I went to oak and poppy in Woodland Hills and they pierced my ears and I didn’t have any pain. Their use a extra long post to allow for swelling and then when your ear heals you can go back get the smaller post. Give them a try. They were great! Highly recommend!
Those aren't Valentino bags!!! or at least not the Valentino you're probably thinking of. Its Mario Valentino which is different from the high end brand Valentino garavani who has fashion shows and who zendaya modelled for.
His bags are made in Italy, made with real leather… good quality bag. They have the same name Valentino both Italian designers.. it’s ok to have the less expensive one. It’s still good quality.. it’s not plastic
Where has the time gone? I remember when you did the second “cutting my hair myself” video when you had your above the shoulder bob. It honestly doesn’t feel like that long ago, but your hair is so long now and, if I remember correctly, it was towards the beginning of the pandemic when you first cut your hair at home. I have been watching you for at least 8 years now. Holy cow, time really does fly once you get passes a certain age.
Travel pillows are amazing for side sleepers with new piercings! The ones shaped like a horseshoe are great! I got new piercings on both sides two weeks ago and there’s not much pain anymore so I sleep on em now 😅
Oh thank goodness they have the strap. That would have been so disappointing. What a fun shopping haul. You really got some awesome things. I love both of the pairs of shoes you got. They're gorgeous!
Ooo so I got my daith pierced and had the same issue about sleeping and couldn’t sleep on that side for a while. A friend recommended if I want to sleep on that side, use a neck pillow that you bring to the airport, I have a memory foam one from Walmart. It was a life changer.
for the piercings: i just got my very first piercings a few months ago (therefore, i am not an expert) and they didn’t hurt at all. so the one thing i can really say is to CLEAN YOUR PIERCINGS. they’ve never gotten infected at all. ALSO, i would invest in numbing spray/cream and apply that at night or whenever you need it and use ibuprofen.
For the freckles I suggest taking a piece of paper and punching a lot of holes in them and then placing the paper on your face and then spraying it hopefully the sprayed open holes will transfer to your face to create those freckles.
Keep your piercings in! Just keep in clean and it will heal sooner than later! Also I love these types of videos! 💜 Also, if you don’t take that bag back for the strap then you did just waste 1000 bucks bc you just said you wouldn’t use it as a clutch. Girl go get the strap for it. Call before so they can look for it/have it for you when you get there!
You are beautiful and stop saying sunglasses don’t look good on you! Girl everything looks good on you. Love your videos I watch every-time you post. Living.. 💋
Tricks to healing piercing is to not touch it if you can avoid it. Keep the area clean . Saline sprays are okay but i also like just cleaning piercing with warm water and a lil sea salt .
If you want a really good couch blanket, the big blanket co has 10ft by 10ft blankets in, I believe, 4 different materials and each material has several different color/pattern options. They are a bit pricey but if you aren’t super picky on the color, they often have last chance deals. I love mine. We have a big 7ftx5.5ftx5ft unshaped sectional and my husband and I and our 3 dogs can all lay on different sides of the couch and all be covered completely by the same blanket. We have a California king bed and when we use it on our bed to snuggle and watch movies in the winter, it covers our entire bed and drapes on the floor on both sides of the bed. We got the “super stretch” (fleece) one and it’s super soft and cozy, but we have the “cheapest” fabric choice they offer. They also have knit, woven and plush, as well as a weighted option. We got ours for $89, it they are typically, for that fabric option, about $150, but they are worth every penny!
I live for your videos, Laura!! Always a special treat!! For your pierced ears. Make sure to twist the earrings morning and night, that prevents the skin from healing up around the post. For pain: I used Ore-A-Jel, which is for toothache pain, but, it numbs the area around your ear REALLY well. This was a SAVIOR to my ears, when I got my cartilage piercings done! I hope this helps. Y'all take care. 🥰
For your piercings, you can get one of those neck rest pillows for airplane rides an try to sleep with your ear in the center so it's unbothered an the rest of your head is supported. Make sure to get one that would clasp at the ends in front of the neck so that way your head doesn't just fall through. Hope this helps somehow! 🤗
Piercing: Don’t take it out Gallon jug of distilled water, dissolve salt in it Clean them with the salt solution in the morning and at night Try not to sleep on that side Don’t get makeup, hair spray, gel etc on them Don’t twist or pull the jewelry If your piercer didn’t give you good aftercare instructions I’d recommend maybe finding another place to go if you get any more 🙂
I do have two kinds of piercings: a helix one (hollow needle in cartilage) that I had to rinse with a solution of a small amount of salt mixed in warm water and not turning the earring. They said don't sleep on it either for the first week. I also got double normal earlobe piercings (regular needle) that I had to turn (I believe) and rinse with something called sterilon (brand in the Netherlands). It should get better, but watch our for signs of infection!
Evian Water spray is the best for a dry climate!!! I take mine back home to Colorado all the time. Having dry skin and dry climate, it helps so much!!!
You can give them a call and tell them they forgot to place the strap in the bag. They won’t judge you or make assumptions. You can return the items as long as you have the receipt and tags still attached. Give them a call and ask to speak to the manager. I use to be a Nordy employee… they will take care of you ❤️
I have a lot of piercings and the ears definitely are my least favorite to heal. If you're not doing salt water soaks, I would definitely recommend that- It makes it feel so much better. Also, try to keep your hair away from it. And dont touch it. If you need to touch it make sure you wash your hands first.
LAURA! Get one of those airplane pillows for your neck and use it when you sleep. Put your ear in the hole and it will elevate your head so your ear isn’t touching the pillow. Helps it to heal and not be so sore!!!
Just a note. The valentino is not the designer Garavani Valentino its the cheaper more accessible version, Mario Valentino. That is why its out in the open and not behind glass
I think, with the root touch up spray, in order to achieve the faux freckles, you have to spray some in your hair or on a towel and then use the residual liquid on the tip to dot little freckles on your face.
I LOVE CASETIFY!! i literally had the same case for 2 FULL years before it broke, still with no scratch or crack on my phone! WORTH EVERYYY PENNYY!! I just bought a new one 🤩🤩🤩
Hello Laura! I hope all is well! :) Do not take out the piercings! It will cause the hole to close. What I used for my piercings is the Hygea Sterile Saline Wipes from the brand PDI healthcare. The wipe is big so cut it in half and use it to wipe it. It was recommended to me from the Maria Tash employees who also told me to cut the wipe in half where I got my piercings done and it really helped. I got my second cartilage piercings back in 2018 on both ears and they are great! It fully healed in the three months ish they told me the piercing would heal in. I also heard if you sleep with one of those airplane neck pillows (I think that’s what you call it 😂) it would be more comfortable to sleep. Also the amount of time for a piecing to heal all depends on the type of piercing you get. Wow I wrote a lot sorry lol 😂😂 but I hope this helps :) I hope you have a wonderful day!! 💕
Don’t take out your piercing, just clean it with saline spray (you can get on Amazon) , and if you sleep on your side, just roll up a towel into a circle and sleep on it that way so your ear is in the hole instead of flat on your pillow if that makes sense. It’ll heal a lot quicker that way!
Piercing suggestions…first off don’t go to a place that has the piercing guns (they aren’t cleaned well and it damages the ear tissue). Did it twice and third time went to a piercer and it’s 100% better. They also used flat back earrings which are soooo much more comfortable at night. Pain was virtually non-existent. Secondly, clean with a saline solution. Thirdly, a bacitracin ointment on a q-tip works wonders for pain! You have to keep applying it but I find it help tremendously with healing.
I can’t wait to see what you do with your bathroom. I already loved your bathroom, so I can’t even imagine what you are doing that is going to make it even better.
No don’t take it out you’ll feel better in a couple weeks and be careful with your hair clean it regularly to avoid infection and yes the pain is normal
The whole root cover up does work, watch Robert Welsh and he shows how to do it. You really didn't think you would get freckles that close did you girl?
I called Nordstrom Rack and they saved the white purse strap for me :)
Thank the lord!
Thank goddess, my heart dropped 🤯
Great youtuber super and lovely channel looking great as usual great video God bless you all the best for your future and video happy family vlogs 😊☺️🙂 happiness and prosperity always take care

Thank god! I just watched the video and damn near had a heart attack when I saw the strap was missing. 🤍🤍🤍 So glad you got it.
Yay! I can't wait to see the way you style it on Insta. ❤️🔥 With them white heels 🤌 so cute.

@@withsuuuz this is why i have glass spray bottle with rose water. I use to refresh my face🥀😻🌞
I love the water spray for the beach !! After swimming in the ocean the Evian spray is so refreshing !
It also comes out cold bc it’s pressurized !!
Just gently rub wet hands on your face before applying the HA. 👀
Mists are unnecessary.

Was literally just coming here to comment about a donut pillow... seriously a game changer!
If you don’t have one of those pillows, I’ve actually used a scrunchie to put around my ear 😂

I second this! I pierced my own 2nd hole and used sea salt to keep it clean and it healed fine!
Stick the spray in the fridge! I keep a rose water mist in there, makes those hot summer days more manageable!
Girl, you are so brave. I would be so scared to spend $1k on a white bag.

The Clinique pink cleanser is GREAT for oily skin. I have normal skin and I use it. But, you got a good deal on it. (I used to work for Clinique)
I have very oily skin and never find the right products

For new piercings dip it in warm water and salt daily for 5ish mins. Heals way wayyyy faster and less pain. :)
I have a lot of piercings and the ears definitely are my least favorite to heal. If you're not doing salt water soaks, I would definitely recommend that- It makes it feel so much better. Don’t take them out! They’re usually sore, just be sure to clean them and wait it out
I feel like Laura's long hair fits her personality more than her short hair. She's spunky and free- long hair is suiting!!!
I think, with the root touch up spray, in order to achieve the faux freckles, you have to spray some in your hair or on a towel and then use the residual liquid on the tip to dot little freckles on your face.
For your piercings, I use a neck pillow, I put my ear in the hole of the neck pillow so there is no pressure on the ear.
I LOVE CASETIFY!! i literally had the same case for 2 FULL years before it broke, still with no scratch or crack on my phone! WORTH EVERYYY PENNYY!! I just bought a new one 🤩🤩🤩

Am I the only one who thought (for a split second!) it was my reflection in the sunglasses Tyler tried on? 🤣
Lmaooo Laura’s (mis)pronunciation of different brands is sooooo cute 🤣 I live for her vids with lux brands 1). For the content and 2). For the accent
Hello Laura! I hope all is well! :)
Do not take out the piercings!
Wow I wrote a lot sorry lol 😂😂 but I hope this helps :)
I hope you have a wonderful day!!
