I don't know if anyone will see this, but this happened to me in 10th grade. It was the first time I played guitar on stage. We were sort of a makeshift band of awkward high school students lol. We practiced before, obviously, and it sounded good, but nothing compared to the night we performed. It was like we all knew exactly what we were doing on an atomic level. Every decision I made on the guitar worked out perfectly. It was honestly amazing...it felt like every single neuron in my brain was firing at once if that makes sense. This was 9 years ago and I can still remember it in such vivid detail. We were beyond ecstatic.
I have also experienced similar stuff at table tennis finals of my organisation. I sometimes literally forgot that I was playing a match but still played my best that day
Mine was playing volleyball. Every second, it felt like I had full control over every last atom in my body. It felt like I owned the court then. Every hit, I could feel the ball as if it was my own body part.
I started improving significantly during the covid lockdown, I was isolated, my mental health was declining, was addicted to a couple of bad things and I completely antisocial, that's when it all started, it's like the phrase 'the harder you fall the greater you rise up'. That's when I knew what my addictions were doing to me, that's when I got rid of it all(took about 6 months ig) and I subconsciously started doing things that were more productive. Prolly the biggest thing I learnt was 'you don't need to do something everyday to improve yourself, sometimes it's all about not doing something everyday to see a change in your life'.
This was literally the state of mind I used to have back in the time when I was in high school. I always told myself "If those smart kids can do it, definitely I can do it to." This phrase which I was constantly being played in a loop in my mind gave me all the motivation I ever needed and my progress of learning was faster than ever. But unfortunately, I got hit by a serious depression after experiencing some traumatic moments. My ability to think and to perform in school deteriorates drastically. So in my opinion, once we start experiencing the "Flow" we shouldn't take them as granted. We also must learn how to strengthen our mental and have the ability to make our peak cognitive performance to persist forever. Cus once we start experiencing smtg traumatic or smtg which affects our state of mind, we might not be able to get back on track with our optimum "flow". And thanks to Big Think for posting this video. I'll always rewatch this video along my healing journey and remind myself who I truly am whenever I'm feeling demotivated. P.s. sorry for my bad English
Your English is perfect and you're completely right! For the longest time i thought I "couldn't focus" (hence couldn't get into flow) until I began more of a self healing journey and realized "I can't focus because I don't feel safe in my body (PTSD)" The day I realized that I was able to sit down and paint uninterrupted for 90mins. It felt like the greatest accomplishment. It's forever a work in progress
It happens when you don’t think , just doing what makes you happy, you don’t care about the results, clean heart, no bad intentions, you do it because it makes you happy no force , it happens when you do the unconventional, not for the money nor fame, Just being grateful that’s the secret =).
@@Sunsets_aresad I don't get your point but searching for purpuse is only for dead spirit there is no purpose by the way I don't want to argue just beleive want you want to believe
When you start to "feel good" then whatever task you do who become successful in it. Either pretend to FEEL GOOD, practice until you actually start to feel good, when we start to feel good then we get into a state of "FLOW" which makes any task that feels impossible actually very very much possible. For example, you wanna study so repeat a phrase or an affirmation or just visualizing study as a great thing and everything feels interesting when you are studying and this boosts your confidence that you feel like studying and you know that you can do your best in it then when you ACTUALLY start to feel good you get in this state of FLOW and studying feels very good and as your mindset changed about studying after positive affirmations and creative visualization to see studying very interesting (like imagine yourself being Rory Gilmore). To make any impossible task possible the secret is to start seeing that stuff as a good thing and to "FEEL GOOD" about it before doing that task.
i think you're onto something. You have to feel good to get into flow state, not the reverse. Set the mood, eat well, make sure you're not sleepy, don't leave any lingering thoughts in your head, and prepare to JUST enjoy the task ahead. Once you get into it and you're feeling amazing, only then you should produce more ambitious thoughts as goals to work towards. This is a silly example, but I am trying to get good at this competitive game. I practice before playing and always try to keep calm and think about what I'm doing (and learn from my mistakes). I made really decent progress in 2 months. One CRAZY day I got into, what I'm sure is, flow state. I won almost 15 games in a row, and made leaps in my rank. I thought that something clicked for me, but next day, I lost 6 games in a row. I stopped playing there, just thought it was a bad day. Next day, same thing; lost more than I won - repeat for 5 days until today. I got better at playing without flow, and ultimately I'm still beyond the rank I had BEFORE I got into that crazy day. After reading this comment, I realize that I've actually never felt good in any of these days past that crazy day. I was thinking clearly, I knew my mistakes, but I was just slow and hesitant; I did not feel good and it didn't feel right playing. I'll take a break from the game and focus on finding what triggers "feeling good" in me. Sure, you can always grind every day without ever needing to be in flow or feeling good until it really matters, but why? Why can't you appreciate what you've worked hard for, by putting it into use at maximum performance while feeling awesome? David Goggins said that the separator between those who will achieve great things and those who won't, is that the one's who will achieve great things will still go out and grind even on the days they don't feel good. But what if every day is a day where you don't feel good? You'll breakdown and lose your creativity; thus steering yourself in a terrible direction.
I remember entering the flow state for the first time at basketball practice in fifth grade. I played so beautifully and easily. I was present without fear or concern, able to make decisions without worry. No problem was bigger in my mind than it needed to be. It was so... spiritual, almost? especially for a normally self conscious and shy kid.
I think thats the key, to see a problem not bigger than you or should i say "the self". No wonder its gave kind of spritual feeling to experience. The question now, how can we enter this state of not seeing a problem bigger than "the self", interesting thing to reflect on. Sorry for the bad english😅
@@pentingberhasil633 1. stop being identified with your "I", "Ego", "Mind", whatever you wanna call it. 2. No matter how big the goal or task is, be aware that it is possible with step by step goals But you can use flow triggers and lots of other kinds of preparation for getting into flow easier and everyday
Some pro skateboarders talk about “blacking out” during a trick from focusing so much. They don’t remember doing the trick but they performed it perfectly.
Absolutely amazing. I remember a state of flow on several occasions and it really is indescribable but also breathtaking and new. It’s like a whole new level of awareness and adaptability
Happened to me in a workout one time everything was just happening every set every rep was fluid almost like I turned into a waterfall of energy finished my workout and I realized how focused I was will never forget that workout
I have sever multiple scoliosis. I was affected since birth which worsen later. I am living, breathing, thinking, working its cure for myself. I know i ll be fine soon as i can see incredible changes in my body. Im in constant flow of haveing a healthy body. When someone is in flow state i can bet on the fact that one is bound to see magical things happening and make impossible as possible
Have you heard of Dr. Joe Dispenza? His research is discovering some incredible connections between divergent and convergent focus/awareness, and energy’s effects on matter, particularly when it comes to health
When in flow, we actually are "doing" less. The key is doing less that leads to more. The prefrontal cortex actually diminishes substantially, which is responsible for the inner critic voice you may have. You're not focused on any of your limited capabilities, but are fully immersed just on the task.
It happened to me more than once while gaming. My aim turned into aimbot (almost all hits were headshots with perfect tracking) and I played in a very smart way and you won't realize it until the flow state finishes. Definitely something to try.
Literally! it feels amazing and i am trying to learn to get more into it as it makes me amazing at this platform fighter (Brawlhalla) I know i could be amazing if i can just master it
@@TheSonSet it happened to me while playing fortnite (unluckily it was the last time it happened that was some years ago). I learned the skill I was using in the flow state one year later. If only I had thought to learn something from that game I could've been better at the game.
so i am preparing for the engineering exam ( jee), and while i am solving mathematics, more so of algebra, i just get into that state where, i am able to do it so properly that it just feel soo simple. And honestly, i love it. Its the best feeling out there
I think one of the cruelest things we do to ourselves and our children is place shackles on what is possible. The brain's ability to believe is dynamic. The ability to keep believing after getting knocked down is extraordinary. The ability to continue to believe but factor in needed information is critical. Then again, maybe the later isn't really necessary. I do think critical thinking can sometimes cripple possibility in a person. I kind of bounce back and forth between the two mindsets and I do think that hinders me in some ways. I hold myself back where I didn't when I was younger because I didn't "know better". Does intense belief amplify "flow " or the possibility of it? Maybe sometimes. I think I'm more questioning of describing too much as being in that particular state of flow than what really is. I don't know. I find our need to name and define so much of what is normal behavior as something extraordinary to be both a drag, boring, demotivating, and more than a little droll. Our societal obsessions are humorous to say the least. Don't get me wrong, I love witnessing some incredible flow. I just think we're kind of turning a mole hill into a mountain possibly. I'd certainly not call it "superhuman flow".
Yes, it does. Believe amplifies or destroys flow. Depending on the belief you have. If you THINK about if something is possible or not, you lost. You have to stop thinking and focusing with increased awareness and there are many tricks you could use in your everyday life to get into flow consistently.
When I was a basketball player I had gotten in the zone before that’s what ball players call it and it is a surreal feeling you don’t want it to ever stop.
I've experienced this during running (it's my first year or racing cross/track), and I have really tried to focus on this; it's something I like to call "the zone." Where I'm so into my race that I feel a state of ascension, all the pain disappears, everything becomes one, and I feel I could go as fast as I want. I was able to repeat this at my last race by repeating the phrase: "It doesn't hurt" over again in my head. I guess I started to believe it cause I almost passed out, I was going way beyond what would have normally been possible. It is pretty crazy what the human body is capable of once you get out of your own head.
yeah this happened to me while running 3 miles at like 30% of my top speed. It started getting comfortable to breathe slowly, but I knew I might pass out if I kept breathing slowly, so I forced myself to breathe harder. It really felt like my lungs were being pushed to their limit. It's truly amazing that you can discover who you REALLY are while running.
I enter flow when speaking about my Near Death Experiences. Flow can turn to glow ,you feel you are levitating. Observers feel it and see your light. Sometimes a light cloud forms and only those in it can see it but observers notice it and stay back in honor if it. You can feel high after a glow ,feeling flow for hours,a bliss state you enjoy as long as it lasts. Your feet are barely touching the ground. There is a containment to it. It's a reserved energy field for you but those close to you sense it. It's letting go and offering yourself , being free to be you in all it's glory in a performance of a lifetime.
@CEO da sala It's hard to explain. I am an NDE author and speaker, and I have a podcast/RUclips channel - NDE TV. When I share my story of my NDE, Near Death Experience, when I recall hovering over the pond during my 5 year old drowning and then 20 years later when I hovered in the bright white light in Heaven,I start to feel like I am hovering again. My body wasn't there but it is now as I recall it,and my body feels an energetic tingle,a weightlessness, sometimes to the point as I stand talking or walking as I'm telling it, I loose feeling in my feet and legs so it feels like I'm floating or gliding. I have had reoccurring dreams that I am learning to fly around the ceiling and teach others how to do it I think now, through my podcast, I am teaching others the magic of loving God, and knowing there is a Heaven and it is so blissfully freeing that one can learn how to feel it too by letting go of fear, doubt and the heaviness of life on earth, knowing where we will go when free of these bodies and knowledge Hean is real.

I spent 10 straight hours writing a college paper. I stopped only the eat a sandwich and urinate. When I finished it was getting dark out which startled me until I realized 10 hours flew by like what seemed like 2 hours. I felt very satified with my paper and intellectually enegized. I knew I'd get an A and I did.
I was in a flow state when I wrote my thesis in college and it ended up getting published and I got awards for it. It’s still continuing to be cited but when I was writing it I just enjoyed the process and saw it as a homework assignment that I wanted to do well in but had basically minimal pressure 😊
This is very true. I have a calc II exam in two days that I know nothing for. I normally do 28 push ups and feel completely tired after it, it was a stretch after 26. Then yesterday to try and show myself what is possible I told myself to do 35 and I did- 35. What we think is possible is very important. Reality is too. Where is the balance? I have no idea.
Many people on the spectrum or with other neurological diversities are phenomenal at entering flow states. In fact, I propose that this state is more essential to optimal well beingness for those with neuro diverse brains than the time and resources dedicated to them learning to blend and appear “typical”. Space and accommodations for flow states should be prioritized. Flow state in anyone can and does lead to innovation and novel solutions. If someone has a neuro-divergent brain though and there’s a lot of support for them to be in a flow state, there could be a great deal of benefit to all sentient beings. But regardless of whether anyone else ever benefitted from it or not, who looses if a human being is in a state of timeless, bodiless, thoughtless, painless flow? It’s a beautiful juxtaposition of being both dispossessed of oneself and in an expanded state of awareness AND totally self contained and present with pin-point focus. This always serves the individual and inevitably all around them.
ADHD and possible autism here, I agree. Over the last couple years I've slowly been prioritizing flow state more and more, and it's insane the stuff I've been able to do because of it, and I've had a lot of people say things that lead me to believe that when I chase flow, I help those around me without even trying. It's really awesome

Good video. These notions are new to 'Western' civilization but 'flow' has been known and techniques have been taught to achieve this state in Asian cultures for thousands of years.
Thank you for this video, I know what he is saying is true because I’ve had experiences with getting into flow. In the past when I was trying to do something but could barely do it, I kept doing it & I held onto faith that one day I’d be able to do it & now I’m doing it effortlessly ❤️❤️❤️
My job is to get people to find that flow state. It is a fragile assembly of explanation, demonstration, attempt and feedback. People don't know what they can do until they do it. A good eye and kindness when giving feedback make even unusual attempts productive steps towards achievements. It is fun to functionally understand nature. Human nature is to fear the unknown and resist things that look impossible. Good demonstrations make every thing look easy and people will try them discovering it's not easy but with practice and feedback results improve.
I too had the same experience. A few years back, for a not so avid reader, I got so hooked into a non-fiction book that images of characters started popping into my head and was not conscious of the flow of time. Something in me wanted me to keep reading and I missed a few meals during that day.
Four years ago I hiked the Pacific Crest Trail and after 4-5 weeks of hiking day in day out I noticed I experienced flow again since childhood. The best thing about the state is that I barely felt my body and the exercise. There's no pain, no fatigue, no excessive breathing. Only pure expansive relaxedness. I wasn't aware of the surrounding sounds and my vision was as if I was watching a POV video of someone hiking. Except it was me. Thoughts were barely there or at least I was very unaware of them. The only thing I felt or was aware of, besides insane relaxedness, was the strong drive for "next step! next step! next step!..." It was an amazing experience and I was truly happy to have had it experienced about a handful of times. I strongly believe for in order to get into the state it needs to be a task/thing you're doing often and/or for a long time. Also, I did not hike with any earbuds/music. Only my thoughts, feelings and surroundings as sensory input. Besides that I also noticed that stress is a strong inhibitor for getting into the flow state. The last 2 times I experienced it I could trigger it myself by purely focusing on the frequency of my breathing and footsteps and slowly trying to go faster. It also helped to stop looking around, a gaze at the horizon would allow for better focus on the task. Kind of hypnotizing and before you realize you're miles further and you'll have to wait half an hour for your buddies to catch up with you. The awesome thing is that it doesn't come at a price. First time it happened I thought I would physically crash later that day, but that turned out to be absolutely not the case at all. Interestingly, once in flow state for a little while thougths, feelings or your surroundings are allowed a bit more and not distracting or breaking the mental flow state, but it's a balancing act and certainly goes wrong the moment you sense you're actually trying to balance it.
I'm an artist and I practice almost daily and when I'm making music, writing and producing became so much faster and better because it's so easy for me to get into flow state. Once I sit on the computer, start my vocal exercises etc. with the intention of music; my brain initiates the flow state then. I might call this the the flow cue. Also same can be said when I'm writing music videos, screenwriting, drawing, and surprisingly writing my diary
This is what I experienced when I used to go hiking a lot. It's such a beautiful and fantastic feeling that used to fuel me for days, and got me out of a very bad depression. There's just your body and nature, almost working together as one. It's almost like one long meditation without any huge effort to keep up the mindfulness. It's a beautiful feeling - your comment reminded me I need to get back to hiking!
the art of impossible "get our nervous system as our ally not enemy" bannister effect - believe its possible to make it possible making impossible possible pattern matching - flow fight or flee? or getting creative get flow
The idea I have about flow? Pure confidence! Confidence might not be the core component but I believe it's a required state/mode of self-reliance that becomes necessary to achieve flow.
It’s more so grit and a sense of control to get the ball rolling. Most people rely on their past for confidence which becomes anti-flow, it’s best to access your confidence through presence and feeling alive in the moment.
@@imnotlazy like doing something with 100% confidence in your mind that you will succeed, I've felt that in skiing before, like this relaxed but perfectly fluid riding where my body just makes it happen and I just focus on where I want to end up.
This has happened to me a few times. The first time was when I was 4 and my sisters friend asked me to tie her shoes. I didn’t know how so I jokingly grabbed the laces and started scrambling them all over. In under 3 seconds I tied the knot. I will always remember the look on her face. The second time was when I was at a swim meet in 8th grade. I was up for the 25 meter freestyle. Once I dove in I felt some kind of force. Once I resurfaced I can only describe it as my body being dragged kinda like how a boat pulls you while tubing or water skiing. I was amazed and started looking to my side to see if anyone was reacting to this. I heard a kid on the other team yell out “he’s floating on water”. I distinctly remember I wasn’t kicking my legs until I heard this. After I finished and got out a kid asked me how I did that, but I ignored him because I really couldn’t explain it. Afterwards I heard the parents were talking about it. I don’t know how it happened but it was an experience I’ll never forget.
The flow happens when you dont think and jyst act believing yourself with no doubts just because it is like that. I believe i have entered the flow state some times by rorcint myself to not think and just act, it also helps very much when im listening to music because it makes me feel good and not think, It may be true that thinking is not truly beneficial at all times since all doubts come from mind and there is a misterious sense of magic in just act without thinking just by believing you are capable of doing it
I once saw a guy drive me in a 1969 Camero. The car was a perfect street rod, the engine sounded like an angry powerful animal and when he took off he smoked the back tires so bad you could not see the rims. At that moment I knew I had to live that experience, and I did! I remember seeing myself in the faces of the kids I pass and see them look at me as if they want to live this experience.
It's easy to say how it works, harder to explain how to achieve it. I do line up with the flow in the sense of Wuwei and not resisting resistance in order to make life easier and more manageable, but when it comes to the emotional state of consciousness itself it is harder to attain it in difficult situations (ie: not meditation) where we are instinctively distracted and affected by the outside world. I think there is a component of it that works like muscle memory, but it is also a branch of cognitive psychology that has been mainly ignored until recently. When you don't know, you don't know. If no one can teach you, it sucks big time. We need like a proper scientifically accurate guide on mindset and cognitive filtering.
@@imnotlazy It’s a biological process, just understanding it pretty much helps to consciously hack the flow state. Struggle phase, release phase, flow and recovery. Then struggle again. Message me on iG if you want to know more @flozoneacademy
The last time I experienced flow was last year this season. When I was drawing a portrait of my girlfriend to gift her on her birthday. I was average at drawings and I was able to draw diagrams in biology notebook better than some. But I didn't expect that I would achieve such a befitting beautiful potrait of my girlfriend. My friend appreciated that it looked so real. I really loved those 3 months.
I have had several experiences with flow the first time it happened, I went to a large Hotel for a job interview, and there was a grand piano in the lobby, I was just standing there, looking at it and admiring its beauty , and another guy who worked there asked if I play, and I said No not at all. and he said I could try on this piano if I want, and Lo and behold I played an Elton John song and sang. I swear on my life, I have never played Piano before, and then the guy said "i thought you said you don't play" and it snapped me out of the zone and I suddenly looked up, and all these people are watching and listening, I freaked TFO at what I had done and realized I was late for my interview, and quickly left I was visibly shaken. it was so freaky!
I practiced flow after searching about it a lot and my test scores went from 500/720 to 669/720 in significantly shorter time with the same "No. Of hours" i used to give before
I dont know one other video, or any other example for that matter, that could explain so much knowledge in 6.5 minutes that makes so much sense. I have 2 thumbs, wish i could give 2 likes
It happend to me in a match while playing soccer I did some crazy moves without realizing that I was doing it then I started giving instructions to my teammates for me to score the goal myself last 30 secs play, I scored and we did a draw . My team captain said I was amazing out there he barely recognized me. I said that I was probably fired to win this match. So that was my flow state
same I enter flow state and somehow got meta vision, I feel like a god, I could track everyone movement on the field and every step they takes. It’s crazy
I came to it when I was 14. I felt that the heights like sciences discovers, fame and flying to space were the hardest thing and like almost impossible. And then I understood that everything that seems impossible - our potential. We can do everything, just try.
I do not know if it would be considered as a flow state but during highschool I have this "If they can do it, then I can do it" mentality that would boost my confidence, I would always practice things at my best so that during any school performances it is almost like I am in a trance, it is just so easy and fun. However, reality hits you hard, negativity and sadness took that confidence away, hoping that I can still recover from my current state.
i once did kendo, a martial art that depends heavily on technique over strength (although in my opinion strength is also a point to improve) I practiced many techniques, some just "fit" my style, it felt "right" to do these techniques. and since i liked them I practiced them alot, one being a counter-defensive technique where you use the opponent's strike to swing your sword back at him, for those who wanna see its "kote kaishi men". and i had a prefecture/state tournament. In the semi finals, i was loosing bad, the opponent had better pressure, striking. But then i decided to let go, thats where i just let my body "do", and before i knew it, i did it unconsciously. It felt like an unconscious reflex, where if you touched a hot stove you would instantly pull your finger away instinctively. For me it was my eyes perceived a small cue, then do. and i managed to keep it a tie, against someone who's significantly superior to me.
On a certain level, we have a drug store in our brain, the neurochemicals that show up in flow: so dopamine, norepinephrine, anandamide, endorphins, and serotonin. If you were to try to cocktail the street drug version of that, right, you're trying to blend like heroin and speed and coke and acid and weed- and point is, you can't do it. It turns out the brain can cocktail all of 'em at once, which is why people will prefer flow to almost any experience on Earth. It's our favorite experience. It's the most addictive experience on Earth. Why? 'Cause it cocktails five or six of the largest pleasure drugs the brain can produce. We're all capable of so much more than we know. That is a commonality across the board. And one of the big reasons is we're all hardwired for flow, and flow is a massive amplification of what's possible for ourselves.
One story for the passerby: This was just two years ago, peak of COVID and I was gaining a lot of weight. After 50 pounds, I decided to work out, but it was hard because I was bloated in all places. One night, after a tab, I went to a park and decided to picture myself lift my body up with just my wrist and upper arm strength (two gymnastic rings). I weighed 220 pounds and haven't hit the gym but somehow, the tab allowed me to picture myself, go into a meditation state, a flow state where all my strength went into my arms. somehow the brain directed all force and attention into the neuron activation regarding my hidden, unworked muscles in my arms and I lifted myself up three times in a row. Funny to say, I tried the rings few times after this night, but I could hardly succeed one. I also ripped my muscles and had humongous bruises on my arms. But this flow state was a miracle induced by meditation, serendipity, control of everything and accepting control by nature -> impossible becoming possible
Maverick was once said "Don't think, just do" By stop thinking, you will let your subconscious take control of your action, so the electricity flow in your brain is just flowing without being restricted by the "process" of thinking. Thinking = slowing. Ever heard "Beginner's luck"? This moment was caused because of the lack of thinking. Most beginners don't think, they just do.
That can simply be experienced by sprinting through a dense forest. You enter a state where no thought is needed but your feet move exactly where they need to go.
Okay that is what flow is. The better thing to discuss is how people should do their task so that it would be done in a state of flow. Why is it that not everyone is attaining the state of flow in their studies or in their work? There must be a reason why a few had attained excellence through flow. What is that underlying factor? What made people excel and what made people not excel? To attain a state of flow, what must a person do?
So one time.. in mexico.. at a church.. the pastor dude was saying how gods moves thru us.. so he had all the kids come to the stage and he played a song... and i remember looking over at the kid next to me and we both started doing the exact same dance moves... everyone was in sync for the whole song.. like if we practiced the dance... and then they called the moms to go up and i watched my mom laughing while dancing cause she couldnt stop😂😂😭😭
I have accessed flow and it exists, where i can take in info and immediately analyse it without going through twice, like i normally do, like i wish i could do this all the time.
It happened to me so many time like once playing Cricket I was not missing a single ball and sending every ball for 6 and once while doing a english exam I just felt something else and began solving like I never did.
I used to do the same, but now I carry myself with more confidence. Instead of "Oh shit i just hit that shot, that is absolutely crazy" you change your inner dialogue to "okay next one", and this goes on and on until you don't really think about it anymore.
I miss the old videos when guests talked with no music or scenes that are quite distracting. I don't need some music to make me feel motivated, I need to listen and concentrate on the subject and evaluate the speach without any emotional element. I don't mind sound or visual effects in general, but I think they should be limited so I don't get distracted, and not feel certain feelings or to get motivated just because of the music, or an image of someone looking at the sky and thinking about doing the impossible.
I just got to flow this evening match at last 5 min playing football i felt it once when i was playing dota 2 5 years ago never thought i will get to it again with Different Sports at that too and this video show up
Mark of Seriousness: flip flops; subtle cue that says "I'm here to do business but I also want to be comfortable so as not to take away focus from what is required of me to do". At least in my headscape that's what it means.
It's funny how we grow, in my case I had natural ability that made me really good in sports, but I also had self-destructive side, I'm 62 now and it's like I've kept the peace somewhat of my destructive side.

That’s so cool
Would you say you were not consciously playing tye guitar and your hands were moving naturally and you were amazed as a reaction?
That’s awesome, you hit that deep flow where the actions are the right one s and cascades into a great performance

Holy shit so true

It happens when you don’t think , just doing what makes you happy, you don’t care about the results, clean heart, no bad intentions, you do it because it makes you happy no force , it happens when you do the unconventional, not for the money nor fame, Just being grateful that’s the secret =).
I think there should be a purpose behind doing anything like you can't do things just because they make you happy....happiness shouldn't be the goal

@@Sunsets_aresad yeah, there is a purpose, the purpose is to have "fun" :)
This is called deep acting and it works for actors or actresses to imitate an emotion during a scene
i think you're onto something.
Well said. Amen

The term Zone just made me remember about basketball anime dude. Now, we got that too in football anime called Blue Lock with the same term.
Oh nice 😆

yeah this happened to me while running 3 miles at like 30% of my top speed.
Explain ?
I have had reoccurring dreams that I am learning to fly around the ceiling and teach others how to do it
I think now, through my podcast, I am teaching others the magic of loving God, and knowing there is a Heaven and it is so blissfully freeing that one can learn how to feel it too by letting go of fear, doubt and the heaviness of life on earth, knowing where we will go when free of these bodies and knowledge Hean is real.

I was in a flow state when I wrote my thesis in college and it ended up getting published and I got awards for it.
This is the best thing I’ve seen all year. Thank You.

Damn the pov of someone hiking is fascinating
I'm an artist and I practice almost daily and when I'm making music, writing and producing became so much faster and better because it's so easy for me to get into flow state.

I believe i have entered the flow state some times by rorcint myself to not think and just act, it also helps very much when im listening to music because it makes me feel good and not think,
It may be true that thinking is not truly beneficial at all times since all doubts come from mind and there is a misterious sense of magic in just act without thinking just by believing you are capable of doing it

how to enter in that state of flow? Thanks

I practiced many techniques, some just "fit" my style, it felt "right" to do these techniques.
and since i liked them I practiced them alot, one being a counter-defensive technique where you use the opponent's strike to swing your sword back at him, for those who wanna see its "kote kaishi men".
and i had a prefecture/state tournament.

GREAT VIDEO
Thank you! Your video triggered an epiphany of absolute joy and beauty in the moment. Again! I was truly in the Vortex, the zone, in flow. 😎Prodigious
We are spiritual beings having a human experience
Words cannot represent accurately the flow state . Its very personal and a happy exprience .
i like the part where he actually explained how to use the flow state
The art of doing not doing. ❤
Maverick was once said "Don't think, just do"
By stop thinking, you will let your subconscious take control of your action, so the electricity flow in your brain is just flowing without being restricted by the "process" of thinking. Thinking = slowing. Ever heard "Beginner's luck"? This moment was caused because of the lack of thinking. Most beginners don't think, they just do.
For decades I’ve said “if you can visualize it you can actualize it”. Problem is when one encounters a lack of will …
That can simply be experienced by sprinting through a dense forest. You enter a state where no thought is needed but your feet move exactly where they need to go.
Awesome Video. Human mind has infinite possibilities. Thanks :)
When athletes 'In zone.' You can feel their energy when they step on field.
*_Key -_** Explore within yourself how you come to the state where your consciousness becomes flowy*
Surfing 20 years. Find your flow. Confidence. Don't feed the ego
This is completely cool…like the boat on the stream, flowing, merrily along as if in a dream🥰🥰🥰surrender to flow and….just….let…..go…..
💕💕💕
So one time.. in mexico.. at a church.. the pastor dude was saying how gods moves thru us.. so he had all the kids come to the stage and he played a song... and i remember looking over at the kid next to me and we both started doing the exact same dance moves... everyone was in sync for the whole song.. like if we practiced the dance... and then they called the moms to go up and i watched my mom laughing while dancing cause she couldnt stop😂😂😭😭
Flow state is the future of productivity. If you're not tapping into it, you're missing out
I have accessed flow and it exists, where i can take in info and immediately analyse it without going through twice, like i normally do, like i wish i could do this all the time.
Our history is proof that we can render the impossible possible.
Glory to our quest for true vibration.
When macroflow becomes our new normal 😎🙏🏽‼️
3:31 - Flowy flow and culty cults! I love this channel!
It happened to me so many time like once playing Cricket I was not missing a single ball and sending every ball for 6 and once while doing a english exam I just felt something else and began solving like I never did.
I've entered the flow state so many times but right when I'm about to peak i remember that I'm in a flow state and it throws me off alot
I used to do the same, but now I carry myself with more confidence. Instead of "Oh shit i just hit that shot, that is absolutely crazy" you change your inner dialogue to "okay next one", and this goes on and on until you don't really think about it anymore.
If it's possible at any stage, that means it was never impossible
I've been looking for this since ... Thank you. 💙💙💙
Totally agree with you
This is cool, but how do you get flow? Do you have to inject it, eat it or what?
Based on my flow state experience, don't focus too much on listening the cheers
I just got to flow this evening match at last 5 min playing football i felt it once when i was playing dota 2 5 years ago never thought i will get to it again with Different Sports at that too and this video show up
We are all hardwired for flow through Evolution
Mark of Seriousness: flip flops; subtle cue that says "I'm here to do business but I also want to be comfortable so as not to take away focus from what is required of me to do".
At least in my headscape that's what it means.
Flow = peak of efficiency
It's funny how we grow, in my case I had natural ability that made me really good in sports, but I also had self-destructive side, I'm 62 now and it's like I've kept the peace somewhat of my destructive side.
one time i was about to go to bed and i blinked for one second and next thing i know it was daytime, i guess i was in the flow state while sleeping. interesting thing is i felt completely relieved of my fatigue when i woke up and looked around all confused. This was when i was around 11 years old.
Oww just like a cloud. Flow.. mmm. I liked it. ☺️
You missed the real OG Patanjali. Mihaly Caikszentmihalyi noted in his book that the best description and methodology of flow is described in Patanjali's Yogasutra.
非常好👍,讲的很到位🎉
Novak Đoković practice flow for almost two decades and shares his knowledge and he is the greatest athlete in the world
