There's something about seeing adults react to something I grew up and to see them enjoy the show and how the jokes still hold up is truly a wonderful feeling. Might be the za talking but these spongebob videos make my sundays

Nickelodeon actually did do a marathon of SpongeBob episodes leading up to Party Pooper Pants on the night it first aired. It started at 8pm with three episodes of season three, and then SpongeBob’s House Party aired at 9:30.
I love that SB’s bunny costume shows up for a single gag and yet he wears it for the entire rest of the episode.
As a child I did not appreciate how weird it was that the one guy was F-ing a pillow.

Been laughing for ten minutes at all their faces at the 15:10 bit…you can tell who grew up on spongebob and who didnt based on their reactions alone. The contrast between the looks of bewilderment vs the gushing laughter is funnier than the actual scene
26:01 This unlocked a memory from when I was in high school. A friend of mine tried to scream "Krakatoa" as a reference to this episode. But he instead accidentally screamed "Soh Cah Toa", the math trig ratio thing. It was so funny just to hear him suddenly yell "Soh Cah Toa!"

CHOCOLATE!!! This one line was my childhood. One of the greatest SpongeBob gags to ever exist, and one of the greatest memes, from perhaps the most iconic episode of the show.

In the episode "Party Pooper Pants" the music that plays in the background where everyone is dancing to in Spongebob's house called Humpback Hop has been long lost media that has only recently been recovered by SpongeDivers Music on YT last year.
Bikini Bottom is the gotham city of the ocean. Every resident is a psychopath, it blows up every other episode, that are actual super heroes and villains.

I love this trio of episodes:
* A relatable plot (at least to me) of trying to manage a schedule you planned (feels very autism coded) with a dash of Potty making Patchy look like a fool
* A look into the average citizens of Bikini Bottom and realizing it's not just SpongeBob, the whole town is nuts
* The greatest parody of super hero teams (though I think My Life as a Teenage Robot has the greatest parody of villain teams)

Fun fact, Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V was originally planned to be a double-length episode. Here's the cut content:
* Mermaid Man using his "super telescoping-vision" to read the Krusty Krab's menu.
* A press conference where E.V.I.L. formally introduces the newly-christened Barnacle *Man.*
* The villains' ice cream truck transforming into a giant robot wearing a miniskirt called Miss Thing, dubbed by Sandy as a "mechanical skank", which mops the floor with Mermaid Man (My insurance doesn't cover this!).
* Mermaid Man attempting to use his power of telepathically summoning sea creatures to help him defeat Miss Thing, but he only manages to summon a really tiny fish who's noticeably grouchy at having been woken up. Regardless, the fish _does_ manage to beat the robot by building a giant cardboard standee of a robot and throwing his voice to make it seem like it's insulting her fashion sense.
* The reveal of what happened to the original I.J.L.S.A.: they were crushed during a barbecue by debris from their exploding jet. They fortunately survived the accident, but they've since retired, and now spend all their time playing volleyball on a nude beach.
* The Quickster, after getting burned by Captain Magma's lava, accidentally creates a tornado with his super speed that incapacitates the Elastic Waistband by sucking him inside head first, leaving him with the super-stretched neck he has in the ending.
* The car that harms Miss Appear was driven by the tiny fish who helped Mermaid Man and makes out with his girlfriend (as in, throwing his face between her boobs).
I like how at 15:05 the video just focused of Ruff and Bri’s cameras like they were hiding something when in reality they probably knew when and what meme was coming
Yeah I don't think they re-ran that first one a lot. I remember some moments but compared to the rest of S1-3, which I was shocked at how much of the episodes I could remember, there were whole sections of the party episode that I completely forgot.
I love the ending scene with MM, BB, and the feast of the characters have a laugh, even the Chief character, who’s laugh is so contagious, it gets me every time, haha!
Underwater sun is definitely my favorite SpongeBob song. I love it. ❤
The Chief in the superhero episode was Martin Olson, frequent writer on SpongeBob and Phineas & Ferb. His daughter Olivia is Vanessa in Phineas and Marceline in Adventure Time.

Spongebob's House Party was the original Spongebob ratings trap event. They would get more prominent (and worse) later on.
Also common with those events was said event similarly being portrayed as a flop, and not even one that's fun to watch.

Both “Chocolate with Nuts” and “MM and BB V” are top tier episodes, not just for the season but for the series as well. They are incredibly entertaining, well-written, and some of my most favorite episodes to watch time and time again.

The funniest thing about Mermaid man and barnacle boy is that one episode showing their origin story shows they had to be about the same age. I guess it’s like 60s Batman and Robin but they at least looked different in age there lol.

I had a DVD for Party Pooper Pants as a kid so I'm guessing it was made primarily for it. I think there were some other episodes on it too but idk for sure. Either way, Party Pooper Pants was definitely the main focus of the DVD.

Chocolate with Nuts is just behind Graveyard Shift and Band Geeks for me. I do think those have harder laughs but from beginning to end, there's not a wasted moment in Chocolate with Nuts. Such a masterpiece. 👍
apparently, MermaidMan's real name (the character) is "Ernie", in reference to his voice Actor Ernest Borgnine.
Barnacle Boy's real name was originally "Kyle" but later it was retconned into "Tim", in reference to his voice-actor Tim Conway
also, sad fact: i found out that both voice actors are now dead and their respective characters have been essentially retired from the series, only getting non-verbal roles in the series.

Whats so funny is I literally dealt with that same situation Boom was talking about. You know where it was? Five Guys!!!! Like they serve burgers and thats it! Guy in front of me spent I swear to god over 5 minutes ordering. “What kind of toppings do you guys have?” “Lets see do I want pickles on my burger………….” Like grrrrrr its bringing back memories lol.

My favourite Cake that I always get for my Birthday is a Raspberry and clotted cream Cake. Only a thin layer of soft Dough, thick clotted cream on top and whole raspberries in Jelly on top.

Speaking of birthday cakes I never got, for the last 5 years I’ve wanted a SLICE of cake from this really nice bakery in the city but never got it and they closed down last year. But I’ve been wanting an anime themed birthday cake for a while too, and since I haven’t had a birthday cake in like 4/5 years I decided to just make myself one last year. Don’t use store bought canned icing for piping, bc my cake looked like it was sat on and melted. I use to be able to make roses out of that stuff but nowadays it’s like working with straight up oil.😢 Didn’t help that I accidentally messed up on the cake part too. But since I laminated my printed out characters I have them saved for this year. Mini Law and Cora is a nice concept but hopefully I can get it right this time.
