    this was so incredibly helpful! I have met with one family (in france) and so far I think that it might be a good match. I am still open to chatting with other families, but I was a little nervous thinking that maybe I was going too fast with my search. I’m super excited to continue the process!

      Maggie Clark Best of luck with your search! Trust your gut! Don’t rush the process but if you have a good feeling about a family, trust it!

    Did you go through an agency. How do you start the process of becoming a Au pair?

    • @TylahAli
      @TylahAli  3 года назад

      i used aupairworld.com but there are tons of websites, also facebook groups are good as well

    I'm prob too old to be an au pair lol (I'm 32) but I wish I knew about this in my 20s because I would've definitely tried this. I guess I have to figure out another way to get to Paris lol

      Don't let age stop you...I am 36 and considering. Some families prefer mature Au pairs.

    • @Worldtraveler726
      @Worldtraveler726 3 года назад +2

      @@rhambosia1 I had no idea you can do something like this in your 30s, I thought France had an age restriction on this. Definitely going to look into this!

      chambre de bonne! little rooms normally located at the top of an apartment building for what used to be maids, now for students/ au pairs. normally share a common bathroom/ kitchen but ive seen some with their own :)
