For me it’s easier to say “I’m fine” I don’t have to explain my feelings to anyone. May God help me to let my truth be told because God knows I’m struggling.
Amen I definitely agree, I pray that God will help both of us let our truth be told. But if you ever need anything just remember that God is here for you(for all of us) and you can ask him for anything. Philippians 4:6-7 says, 6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. I just can’t get enough of this song. I have Mental Illness, with suicidal ideations, but I focus on the damage it would do to so many people. But as a nurse, and a director of music at a church, no one could find out! I kept the secret hidden so that I wouldn’t be found out. So when I attempted suicide and was taken to the small hospital where I worked, everyone was so surprised. But when my church found out, and I was out of the hospital, people would tell their stories of family members who were depressed or who suffered from some kind of mental illness. Matthew, you are helping to break the stigma. Thank you.

This is me! Always the encourager...never encouraged. Lately though I am depleted! Not much left but still pouring out from my sparceness. My own tank is empty, running on E...but I will roll until there is nothing left, nothing! I know who I am. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and that will never change. The Bible says encourage yourself in the Lord. So that's what I do. Here at the fill-up station, The Word of God! That the word dwell in us richly (that means a lot!!!) and then weild the word of God back in the enemys face when he( all those allowing themselves to used for his purposes, which are never good!) Walk in power and authority. It's been given to us as believers to do devastation to the kingdom of darkness. BAM

Tell the right people you’re hurting. I use to be everyone’s encourager and wondered the same thing. But I wasn’t allowing anyone in through vulnerability in the moment. I pray god shows you who you can talk to honestly. When we are honest with ourselves and others people step up, they just need to be told the truth through vulnerability

I attend Celebrate Recovery, a Christian-themed 12-Step program. Step 1 of the program says "We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors, that our lives had become unmanageable. ." That's pretty much what this song says. Claiming that we thought we had things under control, when in reality our lives were out of control and unmanageable. There is a reason why this was chosen as the first step of the 12 steps, because it *is* the first step. Until we admit that, we are going nowhere.
Is there a celebrate recovery program in Utah. I currently attend regular a.a. and n.a. but the only religious based 12 step in Utah is the LDS 12 step and if like something different

I hope 2020 broke some of these lies. We need to check on our brothers and sisters more often! I’ve lost 3 people I love so very, very much to suicide. The last loss was h the e hardest because he had SO much light and made such a huge difference in my life! We’re here to love and to be authentic and real. It’s okay to ask for help! I know our Heavenly Father understands mental illness. I’ve been in that darkness before too. I’m grateful for His grace. I know they’re whole but I miss them so much! i was hypnotized by music and ever since, ive been getting fevers, and getting other harmful sicknesses. Is God there? My family are christians and we are missionaries in Danang Vietnam. Hannah, I also feel your pain. My 29 year old brother died of a drug overdose a month ago. He never wanted this. He was in a center detoxing when he had a seizure and did not revive. He was down and depressed and fighting a battle none of us ever understood. God bless you in your grief. I understand.

I played KLove everyday and my grandsons liked that one on particular and started singing, then played it on the tablet and learned the words. I just lost my husband this week in a tragic accident on the turnpike. I just can’t get enough of this song. I have Mental Illness, with suicidal ideations, but I focus on the damage it would do to so many people. But as a nurse, and a director of music at a church, no one could find out! I kept the secret hidden so that I wouldn’t be found out. So when I attempted suicide and was taken to the small hospital where I worked, everyone was so surprised. But when my church found out, and I was out of the hospital, people would tell their stories of family members who were depressed or who suffered from some kind of mental illness. Matthew, you are helping to break the stigma. Thank you.

This is me! Always the encourager...never encouraged. Lately though I am depleted! Not much left but still pouring out from my sparceness. My own tank is empty, running on E...but I will roll until there is nothing left, nothing! I know who I am. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and that will never change. The Bible says encourage yourself in the Lord. So that's what I do. Here at the fill-up station, The Word of God! That the word dwell in us richly (that means a lot!!!) and then weild the word of God back in the enemys face when he( all those allowing themselves to used for his purposes, which are never good!) Walk in power and authority. It's been given to us as believers to do devastation to the kingdom of darkness. BAM

Tell the right people you’re hurting. I use to be everyone’s encourager and wondered the same thing. But I wasn’t allowing anyone in through vulnerability in the moment. I pray god shows you who you can talk to honestly. When we are honest with ourselves and others people step up, they just need to be told the truth through vulnerability

I attend Celebrate Recovery, a Christian-themed 12-Step program. Step 1 of the program says "We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors, that our lives had become unmanageable. ." That's pretty much what this song says. Claiming that we thought we had things under control, when in reality our lives were out of control and unmanageable. There is a reason why this was chosen as the first step of the 12 steps, because it *is* the first step. Until we admit that, we are going nowhere.
Is there a celebrate recovery program in Utah. I currently attend regular a.a. and n.a. but the only religious based 12 step in Utah is the LDS 12 step and if like something different

I hope 2020 broke some of these lies. We need to check on our brothers and sisters more often! I’ve lost 3 people I love so very, very much to suicide. The last loss was h the e hardest because he had SO much light and made such a huge difference in my life!
We’re here to love and to be authentic and real. It’s okay to ask for help! I know our Heavenly Father understands mental illness. I’ve been in that darkness before too. I’m grateful for His grace. I know they’re whole but I miss them so much!

i was hypnotized by music and ever since, ive been getting fevers, and getting other harmful sicknesses. Is God there? My family are christians and we are missionaries in Danang Vietnam. Moved here almost 3 years ago, just turned 13, my mom doesn't believe that I'm sick. My dad doesnt relly show he cares very much. Not sure what to do. My cat is my only....like....friend.

I'm so sorry that you lost your brother, Jack, to an overdose. People can say such harsh things to people suffering grief and the loss of a loved one. It's like kicking someone when they are already down on the ground! Jesus never left your brother's side during his life, and through his addiction, Hebrews 5:2 says of Jesus, our High Priest,

Hannah, I also feel your pain. My 29 year old brother died of a drug overdose a month ago. He never wanted this. He was in a center detoxing when he had a seizure and did not revive. He was down and depressed and fighting a battle none of us ever understood. God bless you in your grief. I understand.

I played KLove everyday and my grandsons liked that one on particular and started singing, then played it on the tablet and learned the words. Even their mom used the phrase to them "Let the truth be Told". We are great pretenders, because we're afraid of what people will say when we speak the truth. Yet we go on hurting. What a joy when we say how hurt we are, cry and know that God loves us and has forgiven our sins/ past. I just lost my husband this week in a tragic accident on the turnpike. We were separated for a little bit because I let my alcoholism get the best of me let's just put it at that..He got in my car one day and I played this song for him and it literally led him to Jesus. The Holy Spirit reminded me of this scripture just a few minutes ago. In this case I didn't have anything against anyone.....I had something against myself! So I asked God to help me forgive myself for the things I've done and kept hidden. I believe If God says we are redeemed and washed by the Blood that Jesus shed For our salvation....then who am I to hold anything against myself? As far as the East is from the West, so far has He removed our sins from us!!!!! Psalms 103:12 Who shall separate us from Gods Love...no one!! Romans 8:35
