Hila Chankowsky Nope, those are character shoes. If you were in theater you’d know what they are, they’re literal hell to your heels but dancers somehow dance in them.
Tyler S. If you’re involved in theater in a large capacity generally at some point you will have to wear character shoes. They are the standard rehearsal/dance shoe for women so are pretty common. In non dancing shows you might avoid it but the shows you listed have plenty of dancing-often in heels. You don’t have to be in those shows/roles obviously but you’re definitely greatly limiting the amount of parts you can be cast in
could you guys post a break down course of this dance? some of the footwork is rough to learn, and on top of that, you have to put it backwards with the camera lol

They use character shoes, they’re like heals but for actresses and they’re easier to move in

we dance on our toes anyway so wearing heels doesn’t make a difference, at least it doesn’t when i dance
