I highly recommend this movie due to multiple character arcs, great performance by a child actor, social commentary and keeps at the edge of your seat throughout. Even zombie movie connoisseurs who were skeptical loved this movie. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 94% critic and 89% audience rating, respectively.

I watched the first three episodes in a hotel room on Morgan's recommendation, went remote for 2 weeks (no phone or internet), came back and saw it went viral. Didn't continue because I realized we would probably need to react to it. So my initial reaction wasn't filmed. We explain in the intro. :) -Sam

Also, im not sure what it is about the english dub for k dramas but they sound really bad in general. LOL. And its a very different feeling as opposed to english dubs for anime. Some anime sound good both in the dub and in the original language. I remember watching another channel react to Sweet Home (another k drama) dubbed. And i switched out of the video. The dub was just so bad and grating. Same thing with squid game. I just felt, at times, the VAs sounded so robotic. Plus, you miss a lot of nuance from the korean language when you watched it in english dub. Maybe the dubs just sound more grating to me as a korean speaker as well. Even though im not fluent since im korean-american, my parents speak fluently and thankfully with that, i can understand a lot of korean even though my ability to speak it is kinda meh. But i can survive on it if i go to Korea. Haha. Ive actually been mistaken as a native when i went through the subway although its probably because i look like i know where im going even though i actually dont and im using map app on my phone. I feel like i sound like a toddler when i speak it
