That was my take away also. When I first ran across him I was like who is this guy. It made me think like I mention did a simulation of taking SS before 65 which it would drain my saving. Little money I have must last me a life time. Have to filter the information here when viewing including myself. Have to resist these folks closing their videos with retire early as soon as you can. My retirement age is 67 that's it.
ST said a week or two ago that he had NO debt. So I put a comment on that video, asking him if he had car or camper payments. He did not answer my question. Instead, he commented that he had lots of money. So I conclude that he DOES INDEED have to make payments on them. I can't imagine what the interest rate is. One of his mistakes is that he was making financial decisions (in my opinion) such as buying the new white sedan, apparently based on having Miss T to share expenses. He makes no talk about how much he might have to pay back from Social Security because of his RUclips income. If you were my brother I would beg you to not take him seriously.
My viewing to his channel was more to see how that Eye is getting treated with the Advantage plan as I to have Eye problems that need to be looked after also. Plus the camper experience was invited to one back in 2011 down near Jacksonville was my first experience. Expected to see more People taking up that type of living arrangements. 1099 IRS will look for there tax payment. Up to him deal with that. My viewing for advice I listen with a filter that is all channels. Thanks for looking out for me.
So a little perspective…. ST has an 8th grade education. He got married at 16 to a 26 year old lady. Has a couple of kids to another gal. Cancelled the health insurance on his kids and welched on all his child support payments by working low paying jobs so he “couldn’t afford to pay” it. Yet he tries to “advise” people about. SS and Medicare! WHADDA GUY!
I got a like from him on the Eye issue as i too had problems except no issues back in 1998. Just a casual visitor matter of fact reminded me of the Movie Accountant when Ben Afleck had his camper ready to go in 12 minutes.
I'm in Level 3 IT support, IT Administration. Create user accounts in AD, manage the Azure stuff, setup the emails and phones for all the new hires. Ect. I can't seem to get more than $70-80k. Used to be OK, but now it's not enough. I went to the NASA for the last shuttle launch, it was pretty awesome. The photos I got were great... before I lost them.
We the low level Tech's rely on guys like you. Especially when new hires come in. Hang in there most People I know are studying Cyber Security. Verner Von Brown I followed him from Nazi Germany to Huntsville, AL and of course NASA.
sarasota tim is nothing but a grifter that will say anything he thinks will get some views...he contradicts himself all the time...if you have watched many of his videos you should have picked up on that...only reason i checked in was to see if he would get to spend all tammys money before she wised up
My first impression was man I need to be sure not to walk into that. So I worked hard on myself. Like the other side too DrFalcon and Buckeye are my favorites.
John...I would not take any advice or information offered by Tim Baker. He is so wrong...incorrect on his Social Security information. Very misleading and blatantly incorrect. So you really shouldn't take anything he says on those topics as factual.
He’s a train wreck. He actually scares me. His lack of planning and no homebase gives me a “what not to do” in retirement.

He helps no one and just thinks of himself yet preaches for Christ.

Solid analytical approach.
The crazy thing is, if you engaged Tim’s comment section with your solid information, you would be removed and banned.

reason why his first eye surgery didn't go well is because he didn't follow doctors' orders!!!

@@2legit2Kwit Absolutely I need a level of comfort and security when I retire.
Next year Part B is $184.00
Thanks add that into my new calculations.

Don't worry got one more case Study of an individual who may re-occupy the White House doing that exact same thing as ST.
