Encouraging Bakery Staff Engagement

Amy Emberling is a Co-Managing Partner at Zingerman's Bakehouse. Amy is a lifetime
baker and chef who decided to enter the world of food after college. In 1992 she was
one of the original bakers when Zingerman's Bakehouse opened and she became a
partner in 2000. She is dedicated to making great food with artisan methods, providing a
work environment that is welcoming and supportive of individual growth and
development, and creating a business that adds vitality to the local community.
Zingerman’s Bakehouse - Full-flavored Artisan baking since 1992. It all began with one
customer, eight bakers and five bread recipes. Today, Zingerman’s has evolved into a full-
service bakery with a bustling retail shop, cake studio for custom-designed cakes, and teaching
bakery for home bakers and cooks
