I'm from Pennsylvania, but my parents just happened to be spending the week down in Florida. When I heard about this MegaCon, I was like, "Mom, if you happen to get the chance, can you get the Drinker's autograph?" And being the best mom ever, she not only got that, but she filmed the Drinker telling me specifically to "GO AWAY NOW!!!" I love you mom. :)

199 also happens to be the number of a steam locomotive here in New Zealand, so I sometimes refer to H 199 as 'The Geeks and Gamers Engine'.

I think the crowds are a sign that people are growing sick of the bulls**t.
They don't want political messages from EITHER side, they want stories that are good, that age well for everyone.
And while I don't 100% of the time agree with these people's takes, I think that they are a major driving force for changing things.
